Recently, With explosive national land developments construction fields ate increasing, and slope failures are disastrous when they occur in mountainous area adjoining highways. but public institutions and supervisors, to manage slope need GIS for managing it more quickly and correctly. For manage slope, it is nesessary to use new IT, especially wireless internet. The current domestic population using cell phones exceeded 30 million and the domestic wireless Internet environment has matured, but implementation of mobile technology for government services isnot matured enough. In this paper the author proposed a new system of mobile PPT monitoring for managing slope inspection for Ubiquitous Environment. This new system manages data in real time and reduces human power when applied to current working environments. This research was supported by a grant(NEMA-06-NH-05) from the Natural Hazard Mitigation Research Group, National Emergency Management Agency.

Scintillation crystals for industrial field are used in fundamental physics i.e. nuclear and high energy physics experiments besides the medical imaging, process control and gauging, container inspection, mineral process etc. For the reason of limited marketability, there are not so many studies with emphasis paced on the crystal growth. The scintillation crystal is an important theme in the studies in the fundamental physics and researchers for crystal growth are expected participate it. The present work is partly supported by a Grant-in-Aid from the Japanese Ministry of Education, Science and Culture.

The role of Customs Service has changed significantly in recent times, and what may represent core business for one administration may fall outside the sphere of responsibility of another. This is reflective of the changing environment in which customs authorities operate, and the corresponding changes in government priorities. Since the terrorist attacks on the United States in 2001, customs administrations around the world have been developing AEO programs in which they grant AEO status to operators who are well-compliant with the supply chain security standards. These programs also provide such operators with trade facilitation measures under the customs procedures, acknowledging the importance of ensuring secure and facilitated trade. Thus, this paper analysed leading countries's AEO program regime focused on the two fold : (1)provide an overview and present a implication of its AEO program ; (2)offer an appropriate proposal to Korea Customs Service's new program.

The purpose of this paper is to show how the Evolutionary Structural Optimization (ESO) algorithm developed by Xie and Steven can be extended to optimal design problems of thin shells subjected to thermal loading. This extension simply incorporates an evolutionary iterative process of thermoelastic thin shell finite element analysis. During the evolution process, lowly stressed material is gradually eliminated from the structure. This paper presents a number of examples to demonstrate the capabilities of the ESO algorithm for solving topology optimization and thickness distribution problems of thermoelastic thin shells.

Examining the patterns of evolution of interstate systems in Asia, this article argues that the relationship of state-builders to nomads stood in much of continental Asia stood in sharp contrast to the relationships between rulers and mercantile-financial elites in Europe. Due to the productivity of wet-rice economies, continental Asian rulers were not dependent on merchants and bankers to raise armies to wage war or suppress rebellions unlike their European counterparts. Hence they had no need to grant bankers and merchants concessions, especially monopolies which is how large volumes of capital are accumulated. Geographic conditions however meant that while the lack of internal frontiers meant that large continental-sized states could be created in China, this was not possible in the Indian subcontinent where a more chequered equilibrium where nomads enjoyed a military advantage in arid and semi-arid tracts meant that trans-subcontinental polities enjoyed only a fleeting existence. In mainland southeast Asia, where dense forests and a difficult terrain insulated the region from nomadic conquests, a third variant of interstate relations emerged.

The morphology of 26 species of the genus Tripos was studied among a total of 51 species of this genus, which were taken using $20{\mu}m$ net samples from June 2006 to January 2011 at 14 stations around Jeju Island. Of these, 23 species were first described as new records in Korean waters and 3 species were redescribed. Short descriptions and synonyms are given for each species in the present study. The dinoflagellates of family Ceratiaceae include marine and freshwater species, belonged to originally the genus Ceratium. Recently, this genus were divided into a new combination with the genus Tripos, which contains the marine species, and the original genus Ceratium, including the freshwater species. We used the Tripos genus for the marine species in this study as a valid name.

This paper provides a method for compression transmission of on-chip bus data. As the data traffic on on-chip buses is rapidly increasing with enlarged video resolutions, many video processor chips suffer from a lack of bus bandwidth and their IP cores have to wait for a longer time to get a bus grant. In multimedia data such as images and video, the adjacent data signals very often have little or no difference between them. Taking advantage of this point, this paper develops a simple bus data compression method to improve the chip performance and presents its hardware implementation. The method is applied to a Video Codec - 1 (VC-1) decoder chip and reduces the processing time of one macro-block by 13.6% and 10.3% for SD and HD videos, respectively

The Controller Area Network (CAN) is being widely used in real-time control applications such as automobiles, aircraft, and automated factories. Unfortunately, CAN, in its current form, is not able to either share out the system bandwidth among the different devices fairly or to grant an upper bound on the transmission times experienced by the nodes connected to the communication medium as it happens, for instance, in the token-based networks. In this paper, we present An Application Layer Design for Humanoid Robot in the CAN. Besides introducing the new algorithm, this paper also presents some performance figures obtained using a specially developed software simulator and experimentation for composition of CAN which uses JTAG mode of a parallel debugging., while the behavior of the new algorithm is compared with the traditional CAN systems. in order to see how effective they are.

Many immigrant youth and their families undergo painful separations and complicated reunification experiences. Using data from the Longitudinal Immigrant Student Adaptation (LISA) study, a 5-year longitudinal, mixed-methods study of newcomer youth to the U.S., we examine the impact of lengthy family separations on youth's mental health and their perceived family conflict. Quantitative analyses demonstrate that longer separations positively predict higher psychological symptoms and family conflict, particularly for girls over a sustained period of time. Qualitative analyses of parent and child responses provide insights into the family reunification experiences.

In this paper, a fuzzy hyperresolution principle called CFHR. Compensatory Fuzzy Hyperresolution, with positive compensation facility is proposed. Usually hyperresolution has several terms of conditon parts. Theser terms have to be connected by the an connective. If the main/max operator to be used the and operation, there is some dependency problem of the min/max operator. So , we propose a compensatory operator EGM and applied it to the CFHR, We show the CFHR does more meaningful reasoning than existing method. We also prove the completeness of CFHR.
