전력 계통 축약을 위한 등가 제어기 모델에 관한 연구 (A study on equivalent control device model for power system reduction)

  • This paper presents a dynamic equivalencing method in large electric power system for stability analysis. This method of modeling simplified equivalents for parts of the network outside the study area is to evaluate the stability of a study area modeled in detail. Generators are closely coupled in an electrical sense tend to swing together in groups during disturbances, and this behavior can be exploited to reduce the size of the power system model. The characteristics of generators swing together are referred to as coherency Coherency groups whose generators state trajectory are similar to the other generators state trajectory in the same coherency group by a certain disturbance. In this paper, procedures for forming dynamic equivalents of control devices of coherency-based generating units are proposed and the aggregation of the control devices such as excitation system and governor-turbine system is accomplished by this method. This method can deal with the aggregation of the same type of control devices and combination of hydro and steam unit or the many types of excitation systems. etc. This method is shown to be efficient in reducing the number of control device of generating units with small error in the study group by result of case study presented latter part of this paper.

천연가스 계량설비에서 발생하는 유량 헌팅 현상 원인 분석 (An Investigation of the Major Factors Relating to the Flow Fluctuation at a Natural Gas Metering Facility)

  • KOGAS(Korea Gas Corporation) has about a hundred of local stations to supply natural gas to the city gas companies and the power stations. As some severe flow fluctuation phenomena are observed in several governor stations, the investigation about the reasons and factors which are relating to flow fluctuation has been started. Some field surveys hav been carried out and experimental studies have been performed to find the fluctuation mechanism. As a result, it is found that the flow fluctuation is related with the length of straight pipe in front of the meter, the size of the header pipe and the variation of demand at the city gas company and the power station. Furthermore. it is also proved that both the length of the transmitter cable and the status of the coating of signal transmission cable do not affect flow fluctuation, but the measurement range of the differential pressure transmitter influences flow fluctuation. On the other hand, as the averaging the flow fluctuation is converged to less than 0.1 % in almost all of the cases, it is concluded that the quantity of flow fluctuation do not relates to metering accuracy directly.

  • 스마트무인기의 출력제어계통은 터보프롭 항공기와 유사한 피치 가버닝 개념으로 조종사가 엔진출력을 직접 조절하고 제어기는 프로펠러의 회전속도를 일정하게 유지하는 방식을 사용한다. PW206C 엔진은 회전익 항공기에 맞게 개발된 전자식엔진제어기를 갖춘 터보축 엔진으로 스마트무인기에서 요구되는 엔진제어개념과는 맞지 않는다. 따라서 엔진 출력을 전기식 작동기를 엔진의 출력조절레버에 연결하여 조절하는 수동방식을 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 엔진성능계산프로그램을 사용하여 엔진출력축속도, 비행고도 및 비행속도변화에 대한 엔진성능을 계산하여 각 비행조건에서의 출력조절레버각의 작동범위를 예측한다.

  • The Jeju power grid experienced several major power disturbances over the last decade. The postmortem studies of the incidents indicated that some of the generating units did not respond as predicted by system analysis & studies. Consequently, the Korean Power Exchange (KPX) mandated that all units (generators, excitation, governor and turbine systems) in the Korean network greater than or equal to 20MVA be tested to verify the generator reactive power limits as well as the dynamic model data being used for system studies. This paper presents field experiences of the authors in testing and modeling of steam turbines and their associated governors during the generator and model validation.

HIL 기반 LNGC PMS 시뮬레이터의 성능 검증 (HIL based LNGC PMS Simulator's Performance Verification)

  • 전력 관리 시스템인 PMS는 선박 통합 제어 시스템에서 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구에서는 액화 천연가스선의 PMS를 검증하기 위해서 실시간 HIL 시뮬레이션을 구현한다. 시뮬레이터는 터빈 발전기 디젤발전기, 차단기, 주요 3상 부하로 구성되고, 이들 모델은 MATLAB/Simulink로 구현한다. 더불어 FPGA 기반 제어 콘솔과 메인 스위치보드를 구축하여 선박에 탑재 되어 있는 LNGC PMS 제어 환경을 모사 한다. PMS 기능 검증을 위해 LNGC 내 주요 전력소모원 대비 두 가지 전력 분배 모드를 테스트 케이스로 수행한다. 그 결과 본 연구에서 제안한 시스템은 PMS 시뮬레이터로써 시운전 테스트뿐만 아니라 오류 주입 검증용으로 사용될 것이다.
