Purpose - The purpose is to present an efficient library-use education model in the form of flip learning, reflecting traditional teaching methods and gamification elements even in such non-face-to-face and face-to-face situations after COVID-19. Research design, data, and methodology - Research on library use education, research on ubiquitous environment and gamification instructional design, flip the learning, and gamification elements are classified, compared, and analyzed to present educational models for library education, COVID-19 Pandemic situation, and subsequent library use education. Result - We propose an e-learning content development strategy for flipped learning-based library education. First, benchmark and use the existing educational contents. Second, a user-friendly interface is configured so that learners can flexibly organize their learning contents. Third, it allows learners to experience it directly or indirectly in a virtual space. Conclusion - If the e-learning environment can be standardized to the level of schools or educational institutions, a good educational model that can be used not only in library user education but also in other fields will be possible.

In this study, we investigated teachers' experiences in teaching with the science museum as well as their confidence, their perceptions, educational needs, and their willingness to practice the instructions using science museum. A survey was administered to 225 elementary and secondary school teachers. The analyses of the results revealed that few teachers had training for the instructions using the science museum and not many teachers had experience in teaching with the science museum. Many teachers were also found to have low confidence in teaching with the science museum. Although the teachers had a relatively good understanding of the educational effects, nature and teaching strategies for the instructions using the science museum, they tended to apply the formal views on science teaching/learning to learning with the science museum. The levels of willingness to use the science museum in their instructions and educational needs of the instructions using the science museum were high. They wanted the information about practical aspects to use in the instructions using science museum most. Educational implications of these findings are discussed.
Problem Based Learning(PBL) is one of effective teaching-learning strategy for enhancing military students' motivation, comparing with the other study method. After monitoring military student classes, we conclude that PBL can enhance the effectiveness of learning in War history case study education and finds merits; PBL assists students to play a more active role in the class, induces students to solve problems independently, and makes the learning military situation real case study. The case study is common in social sciences and life sciences. Case studies may be descriptive or explanatory. It is good for War history education. The demerit of PBL is a costly method as students should spend more time and institutions should provide more manpower and materials. This study suggests that more empirical researches on alternative teaching methods, including PBL, to a lecture in War history education.
The aim of this study focused on student-centered learning not teacher-centered teaching in middle school math classes. This study was performed to check the growth of students' problem-solving abilities, learning attitudes and changes in learning motivation among affective characteristics. The results of this study is as followings: 1) The controlled group a heterogeneous group which had classes in a math room, had more meaningful growth than the uncontrolled group. The results of the study show that the problem-solving abilities of the high-leveled group were better than those of the low-leveled group. 2) The controlled group has shown meaningful difference in their mean in learning aptitude test and attitude test converted their score into 100 points than uncontrolled group, and various kinds of learning materials suitable for problem solving are proved as a good learning factor to induce students' motivation and interest. 3) Students prefer to have classes in a math room to the small-sized and large-numbered classrooms. The atmosphere in a math room is more suitable to improving their problem-solving abilities. In this context, the classes performed in a math room are fairly positive. Consequently, students' leveled learning activities performed in a math room can get their learning motivation and attention from those who are lack of interest and think math is difficult and be effective to increase their problem-solving abilities as a learning method for acquiring the whole course of solving the problems.

This study has been undertaken in the light of constructivist view of teacher education. Participant observation, unstructured interview and questionnaire were used to explore the process and the role of practicum in science teacher education. The subjects were 19 student teachers majoring in physics education; 8 had participated at boys junior high school, 11 at senior high school. The student teachers had very critical and negative perception on their school days' science lessons. They had expected to do 'better' in their practicum but there were only 3 to 5 opportunities of teaching under the umbrella of textbook. Explanation in the classroom and solving exercise problem were the main features of student teachers' lessons. Much of the lessons were similar when it is to same topic and the main reference for their lesson preparation was the textbook. The student teachers felt the design of teaching approach as the most difficult thing during their lesson preparation. They realized that teaching is harder than they thought and they should consider students' level and responses. Though they had become to have more positive perception on teaching job through their field experiences, their decision on job preference did not change. More than half did not want to be a teacher. The student teachers recognised the courses related with science education as the most useful to their teaching in practice among the program of college of education which they had taken. The experience of writing one lesson plan or teaching in front of their peers, designing a new demonstration equipment were recognised as valuable and helpful element of the courses. They proposed to reduce the amount of general education courses and to emphasize the courses relevant with science education and practicum. The limited opportunity of teaching in practicum was pointed out as problematic. Though the practicum was recognized as a 'good' experience to student teachers, it was confined by textbook and limited teaching opportunity. In conclusion, the practicum was not organized and implemented as a meaningful experience of science teaching and learning. There should be more structured studies on what kind of perceptions and experiences the student teachers had brought to the science teacher education program, how they interact with the elements of the program and how they affect to their science teaching. The structure and content of practicum also should be studied and developed so as to make practicum as a meaningful experience of science teaching and learning.

Learning objectives is used to be a good guidance of a class evaluation and activity design for an effective teaching and learning activities in class. Anderson's taxonomy of Educational Objectives that was a revision of Bloom's taxonomy has presented in research field of other subject matters and used as a better guideline for analyzing learning objectives in textbook and achievement levels in test recently. This study has behaved some questionnaires for that Anderson's taxonomy is suitable for a guideline of stating learning objective in Informatics subject matter, and analyzed the learning objectives in 6 Informatics textbooks by Anderson's taxonomy. It has proposed that Anderson's taxonomy is satisfactory for expressing learning objective of Informatics subject matter in class and some dimensions, such as conceptual and procedural knowledge, understand, and apply, are much more used in learning objectives in 6 Informatics textbooks. This results will be a good case study in research about taxonomy of educational objectives and development of Informatics textbooks.
This study is on the teaching-learning of parameter concept in secondary school mathematics. In our school mathematics curriculum, parameter concept is explicitly presented at high school mathematics textbook. But student have difficulty in understanding parameter concept because this concept is implicitly used in the textbook from 7-grade mathematics. Moreover, it is true that mathematics teacher give a little attention to student's understanding of parameter con- cept. In this study, we analyzed concept definition of parameter and the extension of parameter on the basis of preceding research, our mathematical curriculum, mathematical dictionaries. After that, we concluded that parameter is explicitly called in t where x= f(t), y= g(t) and parameter is implicitly treated in the learning of relation between quantities in our mathematical curriculum. We pointed to the importance of parameter concept in the successful learning of school algebra. Specially, when the level of algebra is in the learning of relation between quantities, parameter is the key concept for understanding and representing of families of equations or functions. In mathematics class, students have opportunity to reflect that what the role of each variable(parameter, dependent variable, independent variable etc.) is, and where the information which determines it comes from. It is for mathematical communications as well as learning school algebra. Therefore, mathematics teacher's didactical attention is more needed to student have a good concept image of parameter before they learn explicitly its concept definition.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects and define the educational strategies of the cyber education offered to students for Bachelor of Science degree program(RN-BSN). The participants in this study were 67 students in two courses, Growth and Development, and Nursing Process. The main components of the cyber classes were the electronic board and on-line discussion board. The study was conducted from March 4, 2001 to July 23, 2001 at Y University in Seoul, Korea. To examine the effects of the cyber education, learning motivation, and learning satisfaction were measured by questionnaires to the students before the initial class and after completing the class. Learning achievement was measured by the grades for each course. The data were analyzed using frequencies, t-test, and paired t-test. The specific results of the course evaluation were compared and analysis was done to examine differences between traditional classroom teaching and cyber teaching. The study results are as follows: 1. There were no significant differences on total scores for learning motivation between pre-cyber education and post-cyber education. However, there were significant decreases in the post test compared to the pre test for the items, ' I'd like to get as high a score as possible compared to other students (t=-2.20, p=.03)' and ' I'm sure to acquire good grades(t=-5.22, p=.00) '. 2. The average score for learning satisfaction using cyber education was high at 3.52. 3. To define learning achievement using cyber education, grades for students taking cyber classes this year were compared to student grades for a class using traditional lassroom teaching last year. The score was significantly higher for classroom students in the 'Growth and Development' course (t=-3.5, p<.001), and the score was significantly higher for the cyber education students in the 'Nursing Process' course (t=4.3, p<.000). 4. The average of post scores on computer competency was significantly higher on six items, general knowledge about computers, data management and data research, ability to communicate using computer, and internet surfing. On the basis of the above findings, this study suggests that cyber education in nursing courses is effective and readily available. However, it is recommended that consideration be given to characteristics of the course when developing cyber education programs for nursing courses.
It is important to operate an education resources which could be integrated to an system. But most of existing education information system was not developed with standardization. It is need the core education asset and reusable education service to make a good education system. Consequently, it is needed to use Sharable Content Object Reference Model(SCORM) based contents managing in order to reuse the contents of education. And it needs assembling and producing method with reusable core asset of education system to develop the application program for education. In this thesis, we study the Teaching-Learning supporting system to support systematic education resources. Teaching-Learning support system is developed of educational domain assess through development process based on Model Driven Architecture(MDA) and core asset on each stage. Application program of education is developed using MDA automatic tool through analyzing and designing for contents storage which is based on contents meta model. We finally can develop the application software of education with low cost and high productivity by raising the reusability of education contents and by using the core asset to the whole development process.

Artificial intelligence education is very important in the 21st century knowledge information society. Even if it is very important to understand artificial intelligence and practice computer programming in computer education in the fourth industrial revolution, but there is no teaching and learning model to understand artificial intelligence and computer programming education. In this paper, the proposed model consists of problem understanding step, data organizing step, artificial intelligence model setting step, programming step, and report writing step. At the program step, students can choose to copy, transform, create, and challenge steps to their level. In this study, the validity of the model was proved by the Delphi evaluation of elementary school teachers. The results of this study provide a good opportunity for elementary school students to practice artificial intelligence programs.
