With the recent increasing interest in sustainability management, the latest environmental report tends to be substituted by the expanded sustainability management report. In this work, I would like to introduce the management pattern of a global enterprise that values environmental soundness (environmental friendly) and implements eco-friendly measures. The enterprise chosen in this study is FedEx. In this article, FedEx case is presented how companies can adopt environmental friendly management in their businesses. FedEx has maintained an eco-friendly management since the introduction of the company's eco-friendly transport trucks in 2003, following its development in 2000. In 2005, it installed a solar power plant that can supply up to 80% of the electricity consumed by Oakland Logistics Center in California, USA. FedEx has published the "Global Enterprise Citizenship Report," which contains its business developments in 2009. FedEx has worked hard to minimize the influence caused by packaging of goods to the environment and appealed to customers to use recycled products as much as they can. FedEx also encourages customers to use packaging materials efficiently. A considerable amount of energy has been expended in the eco-friendly programs of FedEx. Although thousands of FedEx vehicles and aircraft operate daily with using large amounts of electricity and fuel, FedEx focuses on energy savings and global environment protection.

Moblie games are getting popular in that more mobile handsets are available. The mobile phone is expected to be the dominant platform the way the PC turned out to be the dominant platform of desktop computing. Ubiquity enables the mobile phone users interact socially with other users. Mobile game developers are now competing globally on the Apple Appstore, where any developers in the world are able to publish their own games easily. This study reviews the case of Gamevil, one of the leading mobile game service providers, from its foundation to the current global competition in order to draw implications for mobile game industry.

Global firms have to acquire various kinds of knowledge from worldwide markets and use it strategically in local markets. Especially, the ability to learn competitive advantage of an industry leader or competing firm is a critical factor in a firm's competitiveness. The concept of knowledge transfer has been used to explain these phenomena. However, with the broadening concept of knowledge and increasing importance of interaction between firms, the perspective of knowledge transfer has reached its limits. In this study we will conceptualize the new concept of 'knowledge translation', and analyze the globalization case of Hyundai Motor Co. to improve the validity and usefulness of this perspective. The results show that knowledge translation is a critical factor of success in a firm's globalization and efficient management of the knowledge translation process enhances a firm's global competitiveness.

The basic principle of the product manufacturing technology using the 3D printing technique materializes the material including the high molecular substance or plastic and metallic dust, and etc. the product into the laminate additive manufacturing according to the design diagram gradually. It is well observed in the satellite telecommunication policy of several States that legal constraints imposed upon the service coverage of satellite telecommunication as well as broadcasting are to be relaxed in a progressive way. Major aspects of such policy change lie in the adoption of policy refusing traditional concept of national frontier. In the case of direct broadcasting satellite service, while a debate upon the legal issues regarding the spill-over effect of that service is no more major concern of the States, many multinational enterprises are looking for strategic alliance for regional or global DBS project. On the other hand, an implementation plan for connecting the world through global mobile personal communication satellite system is being pursued by several joint effort of multinational firms. Legal issues arise regarding the regulatory competence of each State, Especially, a controversial issue is concerning the sovereign right well recognized upon the regulation of telecommunication. This study is focusing upon the evolution of such policy change for the purpose of allowing us to expect future develpment of worldwide satellite telecommunication policy environment.

Currently, the VHE (suggested for global roaming user to provide personal service environment) implementation scenario is being proposed to realize 3G network requirements. However, developing VHE scenarios are focused on signal flow between node and network, and network and network. this case may result in weakness to protect subscriber's privacy in 3G network which commonly uses visited network. In this paper, we reanalyze a several VHE implementation scenarios for user profile protection, indicate a problem concerning user privacy, and finally, design a procedure to cope with vulnerability in VHE implementation scenario.

Fire needling is an acupuncture procedure involving the swift pricking of diseased part with a red hot needle. The purpose of the present study is to report the therapeutic effect of acupuncture and fire needling combined therapy on the frozen shoulder patients. Each of patient received combined therapy of acupuncture and fire needling. Fire needling was carried out 2 or 3 times a week. Shoulder pain was evaluated by measuring visual analoge scale (VAS), range of movement (ROM), and global assessment and grade. All of the patinets treated with combined therapy exhibited decreasing of VAS and grade, increasing of ROM and global assessment.

In this study, Active noise controlis implemented with single channel and multi-channel adaptive algorithm in 3 dimensional reverberant enclosure sound. field, which occurrs in complicated acoustic mode. First, for the one case excited with the resonant frequency of an enclosure, a target of control and the other cases excited with band-pass filtered random noise(100~400Hz), it is implemented to control reducing interior noise of enclosure with single channel and realtime multi-channel adaptive algorithm for global noise reduction in enclosure.

RFID is an emerging technology and rapidly applied to various industries due to its high-tech characteristic and convenience. Although RFID provides valuable benefits. it might also generate serious privacy problems. Previous studies show that privacy issues should be incorporated in developing RFID systems and more detailed privacy protection methods. However. they just provide basic concept, rough guideline. and simple architecture about RFID privacy protection. Industry needs more structured framework and detailed systematic process to incorporate privacy issues into the RFID system. The purpose of this paper is to develop a framework and detailed process design of RFID privacy protection issues in retail industries. A framework is developed based on individual sensitivity concept, RFID contents, and interface with EPC global standard. Case study is applied to validate the framework and it turns out to be useful. It is expected that the proposed framework and process design would provide more systematic guide lines to solving RFID privacy problems.

Forecasting long-term mobile service demand is inevitable to establish an effective frequency management policy despite the lack of reliability of forecast results. The statistical forecasting method has limitations in analyzing how the forecasting result changes when the scenario for various drivers such as consumer usage pattern or market structure for mobile communication service is changed. In this study, we propose a dynamic model of the mobile communication service market using system dynamics technique and forecast the future demand for long-term mobile communication subscriber based on the dynamic model, and also experiment on the change pattern of subscriber demand under various scenarios.
