$Ag_2O$함량에 따른 Phosphate계의 항균 특성에 관한 연구 (Antibacterial Effect of Phosphate System as Ag$_2$O Addition)

  • Glass ceramics composed of (5-X)$Li_2O$$XAg_2O$ㆍ36CaOㆍ$20TiO_2$.27$P_2O_5$(X=1 to 5) were prepared by melting process and 2 step heat treatment for nucleation at$610^{\circ}C$ and crystallization at $730^{\circ}C$, Fabricated crystal phases were $LiTi_2(PO_4)_3$(LTP),$AgTi_2(PO_4)_3$(AgTP)와 $\beta-Ca_3(PO_4)$. Antibacterial effects and characterizations of the glass ceramics as $Ag_2$O content were investigated. Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella typhi were used in this study. Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella typhi bacteria were removed 5 hours added after glass ceramics.

Tip-less PDP Vacuum In-Line Sealing Technology by Bubble-Reduced Frit along an Auxiliary Heating Line

  • Sealing of two glass plates composing of PDP panel was done in a vacuum chamber by using an auxiliary heating line(AHL). In order to improve the uniformity of sealing temperature and reduce the panel temperature during sealing, the AHL was introduced by a screen printing method inside a frit glass and used as a part of heating source for the frit melting. By using the AHL technology and the specially prepared frit glass, we have successfully sealed a PDP test panel without bubbles and any leak through the frit glass.

인공치관용(人工齒冠用) Glass-Ceramics의 결정화(結晶化)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Crystallization of Glass-Ceramics for Dental Crown)

  • Glass ceramics for crown were prepared by adding 3$\sim$11 wt% TiO2 to the weight percent composition of 34.7 CaO, 27.8 SiO2, 18.3P2O5, 12.6MgO and 6.6 TiO2. The starting glasses were prepared by melting the powdered batch in alumina crucible at 1350$\sim$1400 for 1 hr and then quenching into a distilled water. The nucleation and crystallization of the crystalline glass ceramics for crown were studied by DTA, SME and X-ray diffraction analysis. Frit containing 9.11 wt% TiO2 had crystallization temperature of 850$\sim$1075 and major crystalline phase was identified by X-ray diffraction as diopside(CaO-MgO-2SiO2). Activation energies for the crystallization processes were obtained from DTA by varing rates for the fits, and were calculated from modified Ozawa and Kissinger equations. Activation energy for the crystallization processes of the S-4 frit was 489.6 KJ/mol.

  • Nowadays laser cutting is the most promising method of cutting FPD(Flat Panel Display) glass in mass-production line. And this method can also be used to cut other brittle materials such as quartz, sapphire, ceramic and semiconductor The concept of this method is shown in picture 1. Laser beam heats glass up to strain point, not to melting point and cooling system chills glass to induce maximun thermal stress in glass surface and then the thermal stress generates micro thermal crack, in other words blind depth of crack, along laser beam and cooling line.

  • 후막 페이스트용 glass frit의 내산성에 영향을 미치는 프릿트 제조방법 및 첨가제의 영향을 연구하였다. 프릿트 제조 방법에 따른 내산성을 관찰하기 위하여 $PbO-SiO_2-B_2O_3$기본 조성을 습식 및 건식 등의 흔합 방법 및 용융 횟수를 변수로 연구하였고, 첨가제에 의한 내산성 연구를 위하여 첨가제로 $ZrO_2$, $Al_2O_3$, $TiO_2$등을 0-l0wt% 첨가하여 첨가제에 따른 내산성 변화를 관찰하였다.

  • Instead of a solution process producing amorphous $LiV_3O_8$ form, we prepared Lithium vanadate glass by melting $Li_2O-P_2O_5-V_2O_5$ and $Li_2O-P_2O_5-Bi_2O_3-V_2O_5$ composition in pt. crucible and by quenching on the copper plate. From the crystallization of $Li_2O-P_2O_5-V_2O_5$ and $Li_2O-P_2O_5-Bi_2O_3-V_2O_5$, we could abtain glass-ceramics having crystal phase, LiV3O8 from glass matrix. The material heat-treated at lower-temperature, $250^{\circ}C$ had less crystalline and lower capacity, But the material heat-treadted at higher-temperature, $330^{\circ}C$ had higher capacity and $Li_2O-P_2O_5-V_2O_5$ glass-ceramics had higher capacity than $Li_2O-P_2O_5-Bi_2O_3-V_2O_5$ glass-ceramics.

  • Vanadate glass in the $LiO_2-P_2O_5-Bi_2O_3-V_2O_5$ system containing 10mol% glass fonner, $P_2O_5$ and $Bi_2O_3$ was prepared by melting the batch in pt. crucible followed by Quenching on the copper plate. We found that $LiO_2-P_2O_5-Bi_2O_3-V_2O_5$ glass-ceramics obtained from nucleation of glass showed signifieantly higher capacity and longer cycle life than conventionally made crystalline $LiV_3O_{8}$. In the present paper, we describe the charge / discharge properties during crystallization process and find the best crystallization condition of $LiO_2-P_2O_5-Bi_2O_3-V_2O_5$ glass as cathod material.

OLED 소자 제조를 위한 주울 가열 봉지 공정 시 도전층 구조에 따르는 열분포 (Temperature Distribution According to the Structure of a Conductive Layer during Joule-heating Induced Encapsulation for Fabrication of OLED Devices)

  • Encapsulation is required since organic materials used in OLED devices are fragile to water vapor and oxygen. Laser sealing method is currently used where IR laser is scanned along the glass-frit coated lines. Laser method is, however, not suitable to encapsulating large-sized glass substrate due to the nature of sequential scanning. In this work we propose a new method of encapsulation using Joule heating. Conductive layer is patterned along the sealing lines on which the glass frit is screen printed and sintered. Electric field is then applied to the conductive layer resulting in bonding both the panel glass and the encapsulation glass by melting glass-frit. In order to obtain uniform bonding the temperature of a conductive layer having a shape of closed loop should be uniform. In this work we conducted simulation for heat distribution according to the structure of a conductive layer used as a Joule-heat source. Uniform temperature was obtained with an error of 5% by optimizing the structure of a conductive layer. Based on the results of thermal simulations we concluded that Joule-heating induced encapsulation would be a good candidate for encapsulation method especially for large area glass substrate.

  • Li$_2$O-P$_2$O$_{5}$-Bi$_2$O$_3$-V$_2$O$_{5}$ glass containing glass former, P$_2$O$_{5}$ and Bi$_2$O$_3$ was prepard by melting the glass batch in pt. erucible followed by quenching on the copper plate. We found that Li$_2$O-P$_2$O$_{5}$-Bi$_2$O$_3$-V$_2$O$_{5}$ g1ass-ceramics obtained from the crystallization of glass showed significantly higher capacity and longer cycle life tham LiV$_3$O$_{8}$ made from powder synthesis. In this paper, we described crystallization process and LiV$_3$O$_{8}$ crystal growth in glass matrix by increasing temperature. The electrochemical properties were strongly affected by LiV$_3$O$_{8}$ crystal growth in matrix.rowth in matrix.
