The purpose of this research is to investigate the characteristics of Chinese minority women's waistbands, in view of their lifestyle, costume, and symbolism. The research method combined literature research and case study. In the case study, this research targeted the secondary data of a total of 215 pieces from books, articles and the internet. A total of 5 pieces per each representative women's waistband of 43 minorities, excluding those who did not wear a waistband, we collected. We then quantitatively analyzed the form and decoration of the waistbands. As a result of considering the form, the waistbands of Chinese minorities per region were closely related to the costumes, mainly showing high similarity in respect to color and decoration. Moreover, the decorations of the waistbands were most often made from their own area's special products, such as silver, bronze, cotton, and linen, amongst other. The form and decoration of the Chinese minority women's waistbands were all connected with functionality, aesthetic impression, and symbolism, which can be said to be an important part of understanding Chinese minority costume culture. This research contributes to the development and preservation of Chinese minorities' costume culture by considering and analyzing unique costume factors besides giving excellent fashion design ideas for contemporary fashion.

Somatic embryogenesis has become a major tool in the study of plant embryology, as it is possible in culture to manipulate cells of many plant species to produce somatic embryos in a process that is remarkably similar to zygotic embryogenesis. Traditionally, the process has been studied by an examination of the ex vitro factors which influence embryo formation. Later structural, physiological and biochemical approaches have been applied. Host recently, molecular tools are being used. Together, these various approaches are giving valuable information on the process. This article gives an overview of somatic embryogenesis by reviewing information on the morphogenesis, physiology, biochemistry and molecular biology of the process. Topics covered include a brief description of the factors involved in the production of embryogenic cells. Carrot cell suspension is most commonly used, and the development of a high frequency and synchronous system is outlined. At the physiological and biochemical lev-els various topics, including the reactivation of the cell cycle, changes in endogenous growth regulators, amino acid, polyamine, DNA, RNA and protein metabolism, and embryogenic factors in conditioned medium are all discussed. Lastly, recent information on genes and molecular markers of the embryogenic process are outlined. Somatic embryogenesis, the best example of totipotency in plant cells, is not only an important tool in studies in basic biology, but is potentially of equal significance in the micropropagation of economically important plants.

본 논문은 학습된 낙관주의 관점에서 '메이플스토리' NPC들의 대화 내용을 분석하였다. NPC의 대화는 게임 이용자들의 재미와 성취욕구 부여에 큰 역할을 하며, NPC와의 반복적이고 장기적인 대화는 유저의 사고에도 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 학습된 낙관주의 설명 양식의 핵심적인 2가지 차원인 영속성과 파급성의 요소를 활용하여 분석한 결과, NPC들의 낙관주의적 언어 사용 비율은 대략 6~7%로 확인되었다. 낙관적인 대화성향을 지닌 NPC와 지속적인 소통은 게임 해비유저에게 유사한 사고를 학습할 기회를 부여할 수 있어 향후 NPC인공지능 개발시 중요한 고려사항임을 확인하였다.

Human beings and chimpanzees are very much alike. and scientists say there is only 1% difference between them. Contrary to our expectations, the difference lies not in brains but in tracheas ( windpipes ). Those of human beings are bigger and longer than those of chimpanzees. Thu means more air is inspired and expired as breath. About breath there are interesting descriptions in the Bible. In the Genesis it says God made a man out of soil and breathed life-giving breath into his nostrils and the man began to live. In other part it says life exists between incoming breath and outgoing breath. Thus breath plays key role is our life. In Hebrew and Greek, breath and spirit are the same words. In Hebrew it is ‘Luahf’ and in Greek, ‘Pneuma’ With breath and mouth organs human beings produced voice, and with haritage and through leaning we train our voice to reach the level of language which convey our culture. My contention is to realize the gift of voice and train it so that it can perform proper function as a tool of conveying our thought and culture. This is a kind of practice of speech and it may be called speechology. It includes the following practical methods: 1. Try to read aloud. 2. Encourage recitation, 3. Make public speaking as possible. 4. Learn theories of phonetics; such as about pronunciation, accent, intonation, prominence, assimilation and so on.

The purpose of this study was to draw application elements of housing interior design according to user-oriented sensibility types. The sensibility evaluation experiments were conducted to target the general user 118 people using the sensibility evaluation tool for housing interior space. The results of the analysis were as: To produce the 'cozy' space, the colors and materials giving soft and natural feeling should be used. For the 'practical' space, type of ceiling and window that give the visually open feeling, the user-oriented furniture arrangement that allows using the space efficiently. For the 'cheerful' space, the simple and natural effects should be produced by using closed space that stable. For the 'traditional' space, the natural fishing material having rough texture should be used. For the 'unique' space, the space contained the dynamic feeling by the diagonal or vertical line and the graphic expression in the wall. For the 'congenial' emotional space, basic is the symmetric, stable and simple space. On the other hand, for the material, small size, natural texture or typical and soft materials should be used. For the 'sensuous' space, the dynamic and vertical sense of space should be expressed by the type of ceiling. The most important elements for the space of 'gorgeous' sensibility, is the color.

Traditional costumes have evolved while reflecting the social, cultural and psychological values of the era. Costumes gain meaning by being worn that also allows their various symbolic meanings to be derived. Costumes worn in festivals by specific societies and organizations have especially apparent symbolism pertaining to their purpose. Most countries have traditional festivals that embody the country's distinct culture, history and traditions. These festivals are acts of consciousness expressing a special meaning of the community. Costumes represent a glimpse of life and culture during a festival period; in addition, the costume's style, color elements and decorations are expressions of community values and a distinct symbolic mechanism. Totemism (a significant element of these festivals) has been passed down for many generations. The current costumes for Totemism are distinct (compared to normal festival costumes) and embody a more symbolic meaning. This study deduces the exaggerated style, the concealment and disguise of the human body, and the pursuit of pleasure expressed in the Totemism costumes of regional European festivals. The symbolization theories of C. G. Jung and an analysis of Totemism costumes allow an understanding of their existential significance, their role as the medium between consciousness and unconsciousness, their meaning of symbolic transcendental unity, and their meaning of giving consciousness to the mind.

Mean separated histogram equalization in order to preserve the original mean brightness has been proposed. To provide the minimum mean brightness error after the histogram modification, the input image's histogram is successively divided by the factor of 2 until the mean brightness error is satisfied the defined threshold. Then each divided group or sub-histogram will be independently equalized based on the proportional input mean. To provide the overall minimum mean brightness error, each group will be controlled by adding some certain pixels from the adjacent grey level of the next group for giving its mean near by the corresponding the divided mean. However, it still exists some little error which will be put into the next adjacent group. By successive dividing the original histogram, we found that the absolute mean brightness error is gradually decreased when the number of group is increased. Therefore, the error threshold is assigned in order to automatically dividing the original histogram for obtaining the desired absolute mean brightness error (AMBE). This process will be applied to the color image by treating each color independently.

This study focuses on the application of collage techniques to contemporary fashion and intends to show that collage techniques have a significant influence on contemporary fashion, leading to a more creative design aesthetic through the combination of fashion and art. The author carried out an empirical analysis focusing on domestic and global fashion collections from 2000S/S to 2010F/W, fashion publications, and internet data, along with a literature review. As a result, the papier-colle approach, as represented by cubism, showed a creative surface effect through the texture of the paper itself by applying real paper and other materials directly to the clothing items. Second, Dadaist ready-made expressed a distortion of the material and freedom of expression by creating a collage with ready-made fashion items and daily necessities. Third, a photomontage expressed unique images by printing various images of photos that contrasted in perspective. In addition to this, beauty in dissonance and a new sense of space by a collage of disparate material. Fourth, decalcomanie was expressed by printing methods, giving a stable image of the symmetry of the perfect landscape as well as the unintended effect of coincidence in abstract images and particular textures. Fifth, assemblage as the representative collage technique of pop art introduced the overall object itself or modified form by combining it with fashion to express three-dimensional aggregate structures.

Civic participation in managing the work of a park is a natural experience, and urban culture has a role in forming and communicating ideas. However, when it comes to managing a copse, there is no clear scenic image. In this study, my intention was to determine a desirable scene involving a copse and suggest a target image for managing work from a scenic perspective. I selected 12 photographs and listed 10 pairs of adjectives that were judged to reflect the effect produced by the copse scene using the repertory grid development technique. In addition, I performed a scenic evaluation using the semantic differential(SD) method with each pair of adjectives. Factor analysis was performed based on questionnaire survey results, such that the scenic structure of the copse had a clear definition. In addition, the physical characteristics of the photographs were analyzed using Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and the correlations between the results of the questionnaire survey were understood using multiple regression analysis. A desirable scenic image of the copse became clear through this process and I was able to suggest various options of scenic images. Taking the aspects of urban culture into consideration, park improvement projects(including their planning stages) should be implemented by involving residents, which will lead to further development of park planning and maintenance theories and projects giving due consideration to residents' opinions.

본 연구는 '드래곤 에이지 인퀴지션'의 현지화 사례를 통해 게임 팬 번역가들의 번역 동기 및 번역 활동의 양상에 대해서 고찰하고자 한다. 게임의 상호작용과 경험은 게임 팬 번역을 함에 있어서, 다양한 동기를 부여하고, 번역 활동 역학을 생성한다. 본 연구는 게임 팬 번역가가 생산자와 수용자의 특징을 동시에 보여주는 게임 팬 번역 활동의 과정을 참여관찰하여 확인하고, 게임 팬 번역가들을 심층인터뷰하여 동기를 확인하였다. 이를 통해 게임 팬 번역 활동이 게임팬덤의 생산적 측면을 밝히고, 이후 게임문화에서 팬 번역을 논의해야 할 지점에 대해서 제언해보고자 한다.
