Objective : The study was to investigate the neurophysiological approach to the effect of complex exercise on memory, one of brain functions, and the degree of sleep disorder using experimental animals with sleep disorders. Methods : This study carried out a complex exercise that designed in an animal laboratory for 4 days to 16 sleep - disordered model rats. After the exercise, brain function was confirmed with the changes of BDNF in the hippocampus and the change of sleep level was confirmed with the concentration of melatonin in the blood. Results : First, the effect of the complex exercise program on brain function was significantly increased in the experimental group(p<0.01). Second, the effect of complex exercise program on sleep disturbance was significantly increased in the experimental group and control group(p<0.01)(p<0.05). Conclusion : The rate of increase of the elderly in the community is rapidly increasing, and the sleep disorder of the elderly can affect the quality of life of these elderly people. Secondary memory impairment due to sleep disturbances can also be a problem. Although there are many ways to improve sleep disturbance, it has been scientifically proven through experimental animals that sleep and memory can be improved with complex exercise that is not economically, spatially burdensome.

Objective : This study sought to characterize and determine the qualitative level of a single target study for stroke patients. Methods : The National Science and Technology Information Center (NDSL), DBpia (DBpia), RISS (Radical Research Information Service), Korea Research Information (KISS), and the National Assembly Library's original case study from 2002 to 2017. A total of 24 single target research papers were selected through the screening process to analyze the quality level of research methods and research design. Results : ABA design was th most common study design method. One person was the most with 12(50%). and three were the second with 8(33.3%). Imagination was the most used as an independent lawyer. Dependent variables had the highest level of situability and one-sidedness. The study was also conducted with a variety of target behaviors, including 'memory', 'visual attention', 'dysphagia', 'visual-motor coordination', 'balance', 'activity of daily life' and 'edema' behaviors. It also showed a positive effect on all dependent variables. The Qualitative level was found to be above the intermediate level except for one study. Conclusion : It is academic significance that this study analyzes the items to be prepared for in the performance of a single target study and further studies may require the establishment of a weak but good-quality single target study for researchers conducting research in local communities and clinical sites.
The cytidine analog decitabine (DEC) acts as a nucleic acid synthesis inhibitor, whereas ammonium pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate (PDTC) is an inhibitor of nuclear factor-${\kappa}B$. The aim of this study was to investigate the possible synergistic inhibitory effect of these two inhibitors on proliferation of human gastric cancer AGS cells. The inhibitory effect of PDTC on AGS cell proliferation was significantly increased by DEC in a concentration-dependent manner, and this inhibition was associated with cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase and the induction of apoptosis. This induction of apoptosis by the co-treatment with PDTC and DEC was related to the induction of DNA damage, as assessed by H2AX phosphorylation. Further studies demonstrated that co-treatment with PDTC and DEC induced the disruption of mitochondrial membrane potential, increased the generation of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) and the expression of pro-apoptotic Bax, and down-regulated the expression of anti-apoptotic Bcl-2, ultimately resulting in the release of cytochrome c from the mitochondria into the cytoplasm. Co-treatment with PDTC and DEC also activated caspase-8 and caspase-9, which are representative caspases of the extrinsic and intrinsic apoptosis pathways. Co-treatment also activated caspase-3, which was accompanied by proteolytic degradation of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase. Taken together, these data clearly indicated that co-treatment with PDTC and DEC suppressed the proliferation of AGS cells by increasing DNA damage and activating the ROS-mediated extrinsic and intrinsic apoptosis pathways.
In this study, SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating was performed on deformed granitic rocks in the Sancheong area in the northeastern part of the Jirisan area, southwest of Yeongnam Massif. Until now, these have been known as Precambrian or age-unknown old igneous rocks, but the U-Pb concordant ages obtained from two samples are $237.8{\pm}4.0Ma$ and $230.2{\pm}3.4Ma$, respectively, showing their emplacements in Early to Middle Triassic. These results indicate that the deformed granite was emplaced at about 238~230 Ma. The study area shows the characteristics of ductile deformation with prominent development of foliation, augen structure, and lineation. It is observed that the deformed granites occur as xenoliths within the syenite, indicating that the time of deformation is earlier than the intrusion of the syenite of about 220 Ma. The emplacement and deformation periods of the deformed granite is similar to that of Permo-Triassic granite gneisses distributed in the Gimcheon and Andong areas of the Yeongnam Massif. Taken together, the eastern part of the Yeongnam Massif, extending from the central part to the southwestern part, granite intrusions occurred at about 260-230 Ma, followed by metamorphism-deformation of about 230-220 Ma.
Network RTK is a highly practical technology that can provide high positioning accuracy at levels between cm~dm regardless of user location in the network by extending the available range of RTK using reference station network. In particular, unlike other carrier-based positioning techniques such as PPP, users are able to acquire high-accuracy positions within a short initialization time of a few or tens of seconds, which increases its value as a future navigation system. However, corrections must be continuously received to maintain a high level of positioning accuracy, and when a time delay of more than 30 seconds occurs, the accuracy may be reduced to the code-based positioning level of meters. In case of SSR, which is currently in the process of standardization for PPP service, the corrections by each error source are transmitted in different transmission intervals, and the rate of change of each correction is transmitted together to compensate the time delay. Using these features of SSR correction is expected to reduce the performance degradation even if users do not receive the network RTK corrections for more than 30 seconds. In this paper, the simulation data were generated from 5 domestic reference stations in Gunwi, Yeongdoek, Daegu, Gimcheon, and Yecheon, and the network RTK and SSR corrections were generated for the corresponding data and applied to the simulation data from Cheongsong reference station, assumed as the user. As a result of the experiment assuming 30 seconds of missing data, the positioning performance compensating for time delay by SSR was analyzed to be horizontal RMS (about 5 cm) and vertical RMS (about 8 cm), and the 95% error was 8.7 cm horizontal and 1cm vertical. This is a significant amount when compared to the horizontal and vertical RMS of 0.3 cm and 0.6 cm, respectively, for Network RTK without time delay for the same data, but is considerably smaller compared to the 0.5 ~ 1 m accuracy level of DGPS or SBAS. Therefore, maintaining Network RTK mode using SSR rather than switching to code-based DGPS or SBAS mode due to failure to receive the network RTK corrections for 30 seconds is considered to be favorable in terms of maintaining position accuracy and recovering performance by quickly resolving the integer ambiguity when the communication channel is recovered.

This study was undertaken to identify knowledge, attitude, perception and nursing practice toward use of physical restraints, among nurses in long-term care hospitals. We further explored the impact of factors associated with nursing practice toward use of physical restraints. This was a cross-sectional descriptive study in which self-administered questionnaires were collected from 128 nurses working at 11 long-term care hospitals. Descriptive statistics, including t-test, one-way ANOVA, Welch's test, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression, were applied to analyze the data collected. Our results reveal that the participants possess moderate levels of knowledge, attitude, perception and nursing practice toward use of physical restraints. Significant positive correlations were observed between nursing practice and knowledge. Multiple regression analysis showed that the factors significantly related to nursing practice and use of physical restraint were knowledge (${\beta}=0.27$, p=0.002) and attitude (${\beta}=-0.17$, p=0.044), having a total explained variance of 9.0%. The findings from this study suggest that knowledge is the strongest predictor on nursing practice toward use of physical restraints. Thus, we propose that developing and applying evidence-based educational intervention programs to reduce the use of physical restraints in long-term care hospitals are required.
Glycans are attached to proteins as in glycoproteins and proteoglycans. They are found on the exterior surface of cells. O- and N-linked glycans are very common in eukaryotic cells but may also be found in prokaryotes. The interaction of cell surface glycans with complementary glycan binding proteins located on neighboring cells, other cell types, pathogens like virus, or bacteria is crucial in biologically and biomedically important processes like pathogen recognition, cell migration, cell-cell adhesion, development, and infection. Their implication in pathological condition, suggests an important role for glycans as disease markers. In addition, a great amount of research has been shown that appropriate glycosylation of a recombinant therapeutic protein is critical for product solubility, stability, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, bioactivity, and safety. Besides, cancer-associated glycosylation changes often involve sialic acid in glycan branch which play important roles in cell-cell interaction, recognition and immunological response. This review aims at giving a comprehensive overview of the glycan's biological function and describing the relevance among the glycosylation, disease diagnosis and treatment methods. Furthermore, the high-throughput analytic methods available to measure the profile changing patterns of glycan in the blood serum as well as possible underlying biochemical mechanisms.

The propose od this study was to examine the extent of using physical restraint on elderly patients (over 65 years old) and who were patients in long-term care hospitals. The data was collected, from March 3 2018 to March 29 2018, from the electronic nursing records by using a recording tool, and clinical observation was also used for assessing the use of physical restraint and the related factors. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients and logistic regression were then performed. The usage rate for physical restraints in long-term care hospital was 83.7%, and the most common type of physical restraint was side rails. The use of physical restraints showed a positive correlation with the fall risk scores and a negative correlation with the MMSE. Logistic regression analysis showed that the Fall Risk Score (OR=1.02, 95% CI=1.01~1.03), MMSE (OR=0.94, CI=0.88~0.99) and the use of medical devices (OR=0.80, 95% CI=0.65~0.98) were related with using physical restraints. Therefore, it was confirmed that physical restraint was used in cases of a high risk of falling, severe cognitive impairment and the use of complex and fragile medical devices to treat the patient. Clinical nursing practice should be changed so that treatment alternatives can be applied for elderly patients rather than using too many physical restraints.

This study was a descriptive research to investigate the effects of resilience and personality types on the major satisfaction of nursing students. The participants of this study were nursing students who were attending two universities in D city. Data collection was conducted from September 8 to October 6, 2020. The SPSS/WIN 26.0 program was used for data analysis. Frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, Pearson's correlation, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression were used for analysis. The results of this study showed that the average recovery elasticity of nursing students was 3.50 points (5 points), personality type was 2.28 points (4 points), and major satisfaction was 3.12 points (5 points). Personality type A was found in 122 people and personality type B in 136 people. It was found that there was a positive correlation between resilience and major satisfaction, which indicates that the higher the resilience, the higher the major satisfaction. The major satisfaction of nursing students was found to be a significant factor influencing college life satisfaction and human relationships in personality type A, showing 46.2% explanatory power. In personality type B, it was found to be a significant influencing factor in grade and human relationships, showing 42.5% explanatory power. From the above study results, it can be inferred that the development of a college application program that can improve human relationships and increase resilience in college life is required to inspire major satisfaction.
