어선의 업종에 따른 해양사고의 특징과 예방 대책 (The main factor and counterplan for marine casualties of fishing vessel according to the type of fishing job in Korea)

  • Marine casualties originated from fishing vessel occupied about 70% of the whole marine casualties in Korea from 2001 to 2010, this ratio was not much changed as it was before. Therefore a pragmatic counterplan to decrease of casualties in fishing vessel is indispensable for reduction of the nationwide marine casualties. But since the casualties occurred by fishing vessel may have a different causes and counterplan according to the operating type of it, in this paper, fishing vessels classified into 12 types by operating method and inspected the causes and counterplan for that. The operating type of fishing vessel occurred the specific casualties more were jig boat in collisions and fire explosion, trap fishing boat, mixed fishing boats and inshore gill netter in collisions, stow netter in machinery damages and capsizing, offshore gill netter in machinery damages, fish carrier in collisions. It must be emphasized that the higher ranked types of vessels, especially jig boat have to take special care to the approaching vessels under way, trap fishing boat to rear look out and mixed fishing boat must keep on safety speed and be taken an education for advance the skill of operating radar as well. For all 12 types of fishing vessel, it is necessary for an operator to make strict precaution on the other vessel under way systematically and keep the regulation for preventing collisions, and for an engineer on watch to make a check the electricity and the engines periodically for reduction the fire explosion and machinery damages.

전라북도연안 인공어초의 효과에 대한 연구 (Effect of Artificial Fish Reefs in the Costal Area of Jeon Bug Province)

  • 연구해역의 인공어초의 시설상태는 전반적으로 양호한 편이나 부분적으로 하단 부분이 약간 매몰되었고, 조류에 의해 약간 해저가 패여 있었다. 극히 일부를 제외하고는 대부분 어초로서의 기능을 유지하고 있다고 판단되었다. 1. 조사해역에서 20종의 어류가 어획되었고, 잠수조사 관찰종은 10종이었다. 2. 부착생물로서는 수산식물 5종과 수산동물 5종이 관찰되었다. 3. 단위 노력당 어획량은 시설구와 비교구를 비교하면 통발 2.12 : 1.41, 연승 10.23 : 5.43. 삼중자망 4.93 : 2.86를 보였다. 4. 어구별 종조성은 시설구와 비교구를 비교하면 통발 94 : 58, 연승 85 : 37, 삼중자망 118 : 62를 보였다. 따라서 전반적으로 인공어초 시설구에서 비교구 보다 약 2 배의 어획효과가 높았다.

  • Marine casualties originated from fishing vessels occupied about 71.2% of the whole marine casualties in Korea from 2008 to 2014, which has not changed much for a long time. Therefore, a pragmatic counterplan to decrease in casualties in fishing vessel is indispensable for reduction of marine casualties in Korea. Since the casualties occurred by fishing vessels may incline to a specific type of casualties according to the difference in the operating type; in this paper, 11 fishing types which occurred casualties frequently in numbers and occupied ratio were selected. Since the most frequent occurring casualties in fishing vessels were from collisions and fire explosion in statistics from KMST (2008~2014), the study focused on them. The collision is given a great deal of weight in all the casualties mostly due to the negligence of duty regardless of the job types. Gill netter, trap fishing boat, jig boat, multiple fishing boat and stow netter have their own specific causes of casualties in collision according to the operating types. The cause of fire explosion was mainly due to poor inspection and maintenance the electric cord. For this reason, it may be necessary for an operator to make strict precaution on the other vessels under way systematically, keep the regulation for preventing collisions, and for an engineer on watch to make a check the electricity periodically to reduce the fire explosion.

자망어선 밀도 분석을 통한 서해안 안전항로에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Safe Route through the Analysis of the Density of the Gill Netters in the West Sea)

  • 본 연구는 서해안에서 상선의 어구 손괴로 인한 추진기 장애를 예방하기 위해 연안자망어선의 월별분포를 제시하였다. 분석 방법은 2014년 1년간의 어선위치발신장치 데이터를 이용하였다. 조업 해구도를 기준으로 경 위도 $30^{\prime}{\times}30^{\prime}$크기의 해구별 간격으로 격자를 설정하였다. 총 56개 해구를 대상으로 격자를 구성하였다. 연구 결과 밀도지수가 가장 높았던 194해구는 어구 손괴가 없었다. 반면, 밀도지수가 상대적으로 작은 193해구는 상선의 주 통항경로에 어구가 설치되기 때문에 손괴가 발생했다. 이 분석을 바탕으로 어구 손괴는 밀도지수에 비례하지 않고 상선의 주 통항경로에 따라 손괴위험이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 상선의 안전항해를 위해 5월부터 9월까지 위도 $34.5^{\circ}{\sim}35.5^{\circ}$, 경도 $125.67^{\circ}{\sim}126^{\circ}$를 항행경보구역으로 통보하면 추진기 장애와 어구손괴와 같은 해양사고를 예방할 것이다. 따라서 상선이 193해구와 203해구를 항해할 때는 안전한 항해를 위해 위도 $34.5^{\circ}{\sim}35.5^{\circ}$, 경도 $125.5^{\circ}{\sim}125.67^{\circ}$을 추천한다.

  • 1. The bottom mean size of the research area had been showed 86.8% in, 13.2% in mud artificial sector, but and 82.4% in mud at comparative sector. 2. The water temperature had been showed $11.2{\sim}12^{\circ}C$ in surface, $10.9^{\circ}C$ in mid layer, $10.6{\sim}10.8^{\circ}C$ in lower layer. also, The salinity had been showed $31.85{\sim}31.95_{psu}$ in surface, $31.82{\sim}31.97_{psu}$ in mid layer, $31.85{\sim}31.97_{psu}$ at lower layer. The transparency was showed 3.6~5.6m. 3. The conservation condition of reefs was partially grooved and buried the lower part of reefs established '95~'96years but was good condition generaly. 4. The attached fauna has been appeared fisheres botanical specise 6, fisheries animate species 5. 5. The lure of fisheres has been appeared 17 species in reefs sector, 10 species in comparative sector(natural fishing ground). 6. The catchs of C.P.U.E by fishery was catched 2.2~3.3 times in reefs sector than the natural fishing ground. but the individuals was much catched in traps. The jumbo type reefs gill netter were much catched in square artificial reefs. The weight of fishery was much captured in jumbo type reefs.

연안어선용 열전발전 장치의 성능개선을 위한 연구 (A study of performance improvement of a thermoelectric generation system for the coastal fishing boats)

  • In this study, we developed a thermoelectric generation system for coastal fishing boats that allows for a high-density arrangement of thermoelectric modules, verified the improvement in performance by conducting comparative analysis between field test results and results from previous studies. The developed thermoelectric generation system was installed in a 3-ton gill-netter to analyze the engine revolutions per minute and energy production per day for each fishing process over a period of 20 days. From the experimental results, the maximum electric energy generated was 207.1 Wh, the minimum was 53.93 Wh and the average electric energy was 129.98 Wh. In accordance with the increasing of the engine r.p.m., the maximum electric production was 183 W at 1,500 r.p.m. It was approximately 80.5% of designed capacity, 227.2 W. Considering the result in the earlier research was 50.7% of designed capacity, 115.8 W. It was improved by 30% compared to the earlier one. The fishing operation was classified as departure, fishing and arrival. From the result on production analysis of electric energy, the composition of energy was 63% in fishing, 19.5% in departure and 17.5% in arrival. The electric energy production per unit hour was 42.8% in arrival, 32.9% in departure and 24.3% in fishing.
