기프티콘 증여상황에서의 역할과 상호간 친밀도에 따른 선물 만족도 (The Effects of Role and Intimacy on Satisfaction in Gifticon-giving Situations)

  • 선물 증여행위란 증여자와 수령자의 특수한 행동양태로, 선물 증여상황에서 발생되는 양자 간의 정서와 만족도는 매우 중요한 요소이다. 이와 같은 선물 증여행위는 최근 모바일의 보급과 성장에 따라 모바일 환경에서도 빈번히 이루어지고 있다. 이에 따라 국내에서는 기프티콘 (Gifticon)으로 불리 우는 모바일 선물에 대한 연구들이 이루어지고 있지만 증여자 측면의 이용행태와 동기에만 집중하였다는 한계점이 존재한다. 이에 본 연구는 더 나아가 (1) 기프티콘 증여상황에서의 역할에 따른 정서차이를 알아보고자 하였으며, (2) 역할과 상호간 친밀도가 선물 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 그 결과 수령자의 경우에는 증여자보다 흥분, 짜릿함과 같은 긍정적인 정서를 더욱 높게 느끼고, 친밀도에 상관없이 높은 선물 만족도를 느꼈으나 증여자의 경우, 친밀도에 따라서 선물 만족도가 달라지는 것을 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 점점 성장하고 있는 모바일 시장에서 이루어지는 새로운 선물 증여행위에 대한 심리적 고찰과 동시에 역할 및 친밀도에 따른 소비자의 만족도를 알아봄으로써 새로운 선물 시장에 실무적 함의를 제시할 수 있으리라 기대한다.

구매시기와 소비시기 간의 시간 간격이 소비자 선택에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Temporal Distance between Purchase and Consumption on Consumer Choice)

  • In consumption environment, the time interval is frequently found between purchase and consumption. The objective of this study is to determine how consumers' purchase intentions can be influenced by this type of temporal distance. Construal level theory holds that the 'distant future situation' tend to be construed on a higher level than the 'near future situation.' Accordingly, when considering the consumption in the near future, consumers tend to be more likely to focus on the feasibility of the alternatives than on desirability. Conversely, when considering the consumption in the distant future, they are more likely to focus on the desirability of the alternatives than on feasibility. Along with the previous literature, the current study investigates the effects of temporal distance between purchase and consumption on consumer choice. Moreover, we aim to determine under which conditions these effects pertain. To test our hypotheses, we conducted a 2(temporal distance:near future vs. distant future) x 2(alternative type:high desirability, low feasibility vs. low desirability, high feasibility) x 3(additional offering:no gift, free coffee coupon, free mini book) between subjects design. The results show that the main effects of temporal distance and additional offering are significant. The 2 way interaction between temporal distance and additional offerings is also significant. Specifically, the purchase intention differentiation from additional offering tends to be larger at shorter temporal distances (near future) than at long ones (distant future).

호텔레스토랑의 메뉴수명주기 (Menu Life Cycle)에 관한 연구 (A study for Menu Life Cycle of Hotel Restaurants)

  • This study has been done by giving the guide when development of menu or doing marketing strategy in Hotel Restaurant. All products and service has a regular course from induction in market to disappear, so it shall be come out Products Life Cycle theory. In eating business, under the tendency and existing cycle to change menu by taste of customers, liking variation, change of periodic status (environment), MLC(Menu Life Cycle) shall be advised by application PLC(Products Life Cycle) in the process of induction of some menu first and spreading the same business field and then deletion (disappearance) from menu because of no popular. In Emergence Stage, it shall be tried to inform new menu through Cooking Contest, presentation of new menu, free sampling party and others. In Growth Stage, it shall be changed package menu or set menu. In Maturity Stage, it shall be provided complimentary ticket, gift coupon or discount for the customers with some degree of selling record in order to increase using frequency and selling amount after insure new customers. In Decline Stage, it shall be groped for entry underdeveloped country or less advance nation, but there is no possibility to devote in enterprise, it shall be planned substitute menu development in order to withdraw. By inducting MLC concept, it shall be provided the available informations such as“how could some menu be circulate in some restaurant”“Accordingly do strengthen promotion activities or go to low developed area or overseas, or delete it from menuitems and so on”. In the time of decline some menu, it is judged to the time of plan(preparation) of new menu development. In the broad view, when consideration of the concept of menu life cycle, it shall be possible to know which menu is decayed and which menu is developed newly or grown-up, so it shall be provided the important information to estimate the tendency of changing menu and set-up a menu development plan.
