  • In this study, we examine business start-up and closing business in a geographical context. In particular, we analyze the geographical characteristics of business start-up and closing business according to the type of industry. For the purpose, we use the last 10 years data that have been related with current economic situation since the financial crisis. In first, we identify the spatial distribution patterns of business start-up and closing business, We examine the difference between individual businesses and corporations. Finally, we construct general linear regression models and spatial regression models for them, and derive meaningful socioeconomic variables that explain their location distribution. The results of this study could provide basic data for regional planning of national and local governments that activate local economies as well as job creation.

  • The early studies on the cultural industries had mainly emphasized the viewpoint of "efficiency" based on the "flexible specialization" theory, but they have gradually shed light on the viewpoint of "creativity": creative human resources and various networks generating creative energies. Despite the importance of these studies, it is impossible to explain every cultural industrial agglomeration phenomena from specific and few viewpoints due to the diversity of each cultural industry. This study describes the dissimilarity of agglomeration factors between the Japanese animation and home video game industries which form salient agglomeration in the same region. Both industries share similar characteristics with industrial agglomeration of SMEs in Tokyo and close inter-firm relationships. However, they differ in their historical development paths and each firm's behavior and strategy because of their own distribution systems and production processes. In particular, the difference in distribution systems clearly affects whether a company values "efficiency" factors of agglomeration advantage or "creativity" factors of that in case of locational choice. The distribution sector of the cultural industry, compared with the production sector, has a tendency to value profitability rather than creation itself. Therefore, a cultural industry with the strong distribution sector tends to form the industrial system emphasizing profitability. The Japanese animation firm is apt to choose its location from the perspective of efficiency, which easily contributes to profitability, because television broadcasting stations are strong distribution sector. Conversely, the Japanese game firm chooses its location from the perspective of creativity due to the absence of strong distribution sector.

  • Individualities of precious health mushroom called Zhenghonggu@ from respective protections scattered among all main mountains of Fujian China were collected and recognized locally, then compared with Russula griseocarnosa. Their internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region (ITS1, ITS2 and 5.8S rDNA) of the nuclear rDNA were amplified, AMOVA analyzed, nested clade analyzed and then compared with the ITS sequences of relative Russula species from other regions of China to confirm the taxonomic status of Zhenghonggu$^@$ and its population structure. Total 23 haplotypes from different protections of Fujian can be clustered into three clades similar to the three lineages of Dahongjun$^@$ from southeastern China reported by Li et al. The geographic distribution characteristic of these three phylogeny clades may be closely coupled with the vegetation regionalization and/or the differences of coenosium construction of Fagaceae that is the host of Russula griseocarnosa. The correlation of taxonomy, phylogeny and geographical distribution of Russula are discussed.

  • Changing patterns of population densities in urban centers are different between Western countries and non-Western countries. Although Seoul is located in a non-Western country, the result of this study shows that its pattern of population density falls into the category of Western cities. Through the examination of three population density gradient models, it is clear that no model can precisely explain the population distribution of Seoul over time. Some of the models partly indicate the actual population distrisbution. The Clark model is appropriate to denote population distribution in the center of Seoul at an early stage in development. The Sherratt model cannot adequately explain the population distribution of Seoul.

  • This paper present the result of the investigation, the distribution of salt contamination with the influence of. geographical condition. To get the ESDD data, a conventional brush washing method was adapted, and IC(ion chromatography) was used to measure the quantity of anions, such as $Cl^-$ and ${SO_{4}}^{2-}$. And we make an analysis on the distribution of salt contamination with the increase of distance from shore. With 10 month ESDD data, we seek the 95% ESDD value with interpolation method. With these analyses, we had obtained the formulation concerned with the distance from sea. And could know the composition of contamination.

  • A sustainable development in science, innovation, and technology requires a balanced distribution of scientific wealth in sub-country regions. This paper addresses the issue of geographical distribution of scientific wealth and its goal is to offer a framework to describe and measure the share of provinces in national scientific wealth. Our proposed model divides the indicators of scientific wealth into two groups, production and the use of scientific wealth. To evaluate this model, the scientific wealth of Iran was studied using recorded data on IRANDOC databases. Rich, average, and poor provinces were identified and the results showed that 70% of the scientific wealth belongs to 20% of the provinces. The findings can facilitate planning for a sustainable science and technology policy.

  • Eutima japonica Uchida, 1925, a bivalve-inhabiting hydrozoan was collected for the first time in Korea, associating with Mytilus galloprovincialis. The morphology of male medusae of this hydrozoan is clarified by culture and described as well as other developmental stages. As the present material from Korea is in good accord with that of the northern Japanese form of E. japonica, so the geographical distribution of the northern form of this species is widened, Japan, China and Korea. Green fluorescent protein distribution pattern of this medusa is also described and compared with that of the most related species Eutima sapinhoa Narchi and Hebling, 1975.

  • The purpose of this study is to present the price computation criteria with the aspect of price policy for the geographical information circulation. The price policy is to make activated circulation for geographical information. The price policy of this research considered the supplier and the user side at the same time. Important issue of price policy is that initial cost for system development calculate burying cost, and preservation and renewal cost charge to user. Distribution cost of geographical information charge to user according to use media, and apply differential rates of cost according to the purpose of using, up-to-dateness of data. Also, present the price policy that must apply copyright fee to of offer geographical information. Consider various terms that was studied in this study, the price computation criteria was presented. Through this, it is expected that geographical information circulation is activated more.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the location, distribution and its change of photovoltaic power generation in the scale of municipality(Si-Gun-Gu). First the distribution of photovoltaic power generation was analyzed in 2020, and second, from 2017 to 2021, we tracked the increase in capacity of power generation facilities in each Si-Gun-Gu. As a result, the distribution and increase of photovoltaic power generation were concentrated in some regions and the unequal distribution of photovoltaic power generation has been identified through Gini coefficient.
