This study was designed to gain insights into instrumental genesis process of CAS in Korean high school students and to explore its practical potentials in secondary mathematics education. Two activities, such as Concept-Centered Mathematics Activity based on CAS and Problem Solving Activities, were constructed and executed to 10th Grade seven students for twelve class hours. The finding on the students' activities are as follows : it is meaningful in mathematics education, especially in algebra education, in that the CAS based concept centered mathematics activity offers great opportunities to deal with high-qualified application problems. The problem solving activities based on the instrumented CAS may have an influence on the sequence of mathematics curriculum, e.g. the optimization problems may precede the calculus problems such as derivatives in high school. The results of this study to investigate the instrumental genesis of CAS in mathematical activities will give insights into the secondary mathematics curriculum to prepare the CAS in Korea.

The synoptic structures and precipitation impact of extratropical cyclones (ETCs) influencing on the three adjacent megacities in East Asia, i.e., Beijing (Beijing ETCs), Seoul (Seoul ETCs) and Tokyo (Tokyo ETCs), are analyzed using ERA-interim reanalysis data from 1979 to 2018. Individual ETC tracks are identified with the automated tracking algorithm applied to 850-hPa relative vorticity field. Among four seasons, ETCs are the most frequent in spring. In this season, Beijing ETCs are mainly generated at the leeside of Altai-Sayan Mountains and primarily develop through interaction between the upper-level trough and lower-level cyclonic circulation. For Seoul ETCs, the leesides of Altai-Sayan Mountains (Seoul-N ETCs) and Tibetan Plateau (Seoul-S ETCs) are main genesis regions and the features of ETCs are different according to the genesis regions. While Seoul-N ETCs mainly develope by the same mechanism of Beijing ETCs, strong diabatic heating due to vapor transport is responsible for the genesis of Seoul-S ETCs. Tokyo ETCs are originated from the leesides of Tibetan Plateau and Kuroshio-Oyashio Extension regions, and strong diabatic heating as well as interaction between upper and lower levels determines the genesis of these ETCs. The precipitation impact resulting from ETCs become strong in the order of Beijing ETCs, Seoul-N ETCs, Seoul-S ETCs, and Tokyo ETCs and accounts for up to 40%, 27%, 52%, and 70% of regional precipitation, respectively.

It is very important that analysis of textures in rock, the moving of hydrothermal solution along the structures, epithermal vein textures, mineralization and composition minerals to confirm the hydrothermal ore deposits and ore genesis. The purpose of this study is to confirm the gold mineralization and ore genesis through the moving of hydrothermal solution along the structure lines and epithermal vein textures by using Color-corescanner techniques. The three drilling hole cores of Sunshin Gold Mine in Haenam area in Jeonnam Province were into a digital image data. Digital image data of gold bearing epithermal vein textures were analyzed detaily by Color-corescanner. There are several epithermal vein textures, namely Comb texture, Cavity texture, Bladed texture, Zonal texture, Brecciated texture and Combined texture. Gold mineralization is dominated in vein type textures, but high grade gold are enbedded in brecciated texture. Ore genesis is epithermal gold deposit. This Color-corescanner techniques can cover the missing part of the examine with the naked eye, and can examine closely the situation of ore deposit development and genesis by detail checking the textures in rock, mineralization and so on.

In a rapidly changing and increasingly technological society. the use of technology should not be disregarded in issues of learning algebra. The use of technology in learning algebra raises many learning and pedagogical issues. In this article, previous research on the use of technology in learning algebra is synthesized on the basis of the four issues: conceptual understanding, skills, instrumental genesis, and transparency. Finally, suggestions for future research into technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPCK) are made.

The Bible has been and still is one of the most influential books ever published. The English Bible has a great impact on English language, literature, and culture. Therefore, knowledge of the Bible is essential in learning English language, its literature, culture and tradition. Biblical allusions are found in great literature and the daily newspapers as well. Rock musicians, screenwriters, television producers, and advertisers use the Bible as a source. Politicians use the words and accounts of the Bible to frame their debates. The Bible has continued to be philosophically, ethically, religiously, and politically influential in Western, Eastern, now World cultures. Therefore, not to know it means not to understand a great portion of world culture. This study examines the influence of the first book of the Bible, Genesis, in English language, literature, and culture. Furthermore, this study suggests why we should incorporate the English Bible in English education.

Theory of visceral and meridian system is the most important part in traditional Korean medicine. In theory of visceral system, the aspect of function has been emphasized more than anatomical substance. In this research, the concept of visceral system would be attempted to be expanded from 'five viscera and six bowels' to whole body, and new analysis system composed of genesis, structure, function and operation. The theories of traditional Korean medicine remain at the organ system or organ level, therefore progressive research using the new analysis system is needed to approach tissue and cell levels.

The definite molecular mechanisms underlying the genesis of nasopharyngeal carcinomas (NPCs) remain to be completely elucidated. miRNAs are small non-coding RNAs which are implicated in cell proliferation, apoptosis, and even carcinogenesis through negatively regulating gene expression post-transcriptionally. EBV was the first human virus found to express miRNAs. EBV-encoded BART-miRNAs and dysregulated cellular miRNAs are involved in carcinogenesis of NPC by interfering in the expression of viral and host cell genes related to immune responses and perturbing signal pathways of proliferation, apoptosis, invasion, metastasis and even radio-chemo-therapy sensitivity. Additional studies on the roles of EBV-encoded miRNAs and cellular miRNAs will provide new insights concerning the complicated gene regulated network and shed light on novel strategies for the diagnosis, therapy and prognosis of NPC.

본 논문에서는 기존의 저작 도구에서 볼 수 있는 시간 중심 저작의 단점을 극복하고자 규칙 기반의 저작을 가능하게 함으로써 객체 상호간의 행위 관계를 지원하는 Genesis 시스템이라는 저작도구를 소개한다. Genesis 시스템은 사용자가 구현하고자 하는 하나의 세계를 만들고 그 세계 속에서 행동하게될 객체들과 그 객체들간의 행동 관계를 규칙을 통해서 정의할 수 있다. 변수, 모양, 행동 등이 정의된 하나의 객체는 시간의 흐름, 사용자의 이벤트 등에 의해서 자신에게 정의된 위치 검사와 변수 검사등의 규칙을 점검한 뒤 그 규칙을 만족을 하게 되면 정의된 행동을 수행한다. 이러한 객체에 대한 규칙의 정의, 객체가 존재할 공간에 대한 환경 설정 등을 통해서 사용자는 자신이 원하는 가상 세계, 시뮬레이션, 게임 등을 제작할 수 있다.
