터보펌프+가스발생기 폐회로 연계시험 특성 연구 (Study on the Characteristics of Turbopump+Gas generator Closed-loop coupled test)

  • 액체산소/케로신 추진제 액체로켓엔진 개발기술 확보를 위해, 연소기를 제외한 터보펌프, 가스발생기 등의 30톤급 엔진 주요 구성품을 이용한 터보펌프+가스발생기 폐회로 연계시험을 수행하였다. 연소기를 유량제어 요소로 모사한, 엔진시스템 모사조건에서 터보펌프+가스발생기 폐회로 연계시험기의 예냉 절차, 시동 특성, 정격조건 작동 및 정지가 성공적으로 수행되었다. 터보펌프와 가스발생기의 작동성을 검증하였다. 연계시험기의 터보펌프 회전수 및 혼합비 피드백 제어를 위한 제어시스템도 검증되었다. 본 폐회로 연계시험 결과는 액체로켓엔진 선행 기술 개발에 활용될 것이다.

직류자여자분권발전기의 최적선형전압조정기에 관한 연구 (On the Optimum Linear Voltage Regulator of a Self-excited DC Shunt Generator)

  • This paper presents an optimum control of the field resistance for the self-excited DC shunt generator to keep a constant terminal voltage in case of the load change or the torque variation in the system. The non-linearity of the system is linearized by applying the small signal technique and the linearized equation is solved by the maximum principle with the digital computer. The optimal control value of the field resistance for the step error of the generator output voltage is obtained and the transient voltage characteristics in the system are investigated.

  • Superconducting Generator has different structure and characteristics from conventional generators. As a first step to designing a Superconducting Generator, this paper deals with 2D analysis models. The first model is non-slotted one and the second is slotted type. So this paper suggests the differences in 20 magnetic field analysis between two machines.

  • The electric power network paralleled with wind turbine generator may have the negative impacts on the protection, operation, and management caused by the operation of wind turbine generator. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the operating characteristic of wind turbine generator. This paper describes model of a squirrel-cage type wind turbine induction generator and the soft cut-in connection method for reducing the transient state on power network, and simulates various cases of wind turbine operations. The radial distribution network of IEEE 13-bus are modeled and tested by PSCAD/EMTDC.

  • Bimodal Tram is the new conceptual and environmental-friendly public transportation which adopted series hybrid system. The generator driven by CNG engine supplies the electric power to Battery and traction motor. The generator installed on the vehicle will experience the mechanical vibration and electrical transient variation. Those may cause some defects on the generator which will be the hazardous effects to the vehicle. This paper has investigated the possibility to find out some diagnostic features for the defects of generator through the voltage and current generated from it. Those were analyzed in both time and frequency regions. For the next, more works will be needed to complete the purpose of this paper.

  • This paper propose a development of surface permanent mount synchronous generator(SPMSG) for 5-phase 5Kw in order to study a polyphase ac machinery that keep hold of advantages more than traditional three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor, such as reducing a amplitude of torque pulsation decreasing electric noises, and increasing the reliability. Design methods of the generator use a development tools with Maxwell 2D and Simplorer. There are designed drawing of manufactured frames of the SPMSG. A amplitude and waveform of the generated electromotive force, FFT analysis of harmonics within output voltages, and reviewing a experiment results are shown by variable output frequency. We are presenting a design and manufacture methods for the SPMSG.

  • This paper describes a power quality disturbance generator for the test of a microgrid. The generator provides phase-angle jump as well as voltage sag with simple structure. The main components of the generator are SCR thyristors and transformers, therefore, high reliability and high efficiency can be obtained without switching losses. The operating principle of the proposed scheme is described and the voltage and current characteristics in case of voltage sag with phase-angle jump is analyzed. The usefulness of the proposed topology is verified through simulations and experimental results.

  • The excitation control system of an emergency diesel generator is classified as a kind of safety-related system. Compared with other control systems in a power plant, this system is required to be more reliable and have better performance. In this paper, the digital multi-redundant excitation system for a diesel generator was proposed. The signal processing system of the proposed system makes high speed signal processing and arithmetic in excitation control possible. The improved soft start algorithm and multiple PI parameters adaptation considering the diesel generator characteristics were implemented in the proposed system. The developed system was applied to a nuclear power plant successfully.

  • We have developed electrical power train for 1MW tidal current plant which is composed of both 500kW tidal current plant with doubly-fed induction generator and 500kW tidal current plant with synchronous generator. To check performances of the protype, 2MW dynamometer is used to simulate a helical turbine, and then protype generator and converter are coupled with the dynamometer separately. From the suggested experimental results it is reconfirmed that two kinds of the power train to be installed at the Uldolmok located at southwestern shore in Korea are able to operate under all kinds of the condition about speed and power.

  • Hydro power supplies no pollution energy, mainly induction generator has been applied at the small capacity power station. The generating power of small hydro-electric power station connects on the 22.9kV distribution system or low voltage system in the case of three-phase four-wire supply system. There are side effects of various kinds in the 3-three phase 4-wire distribution system mixing 1-phase load and 3-phase load. This system generates the voltage unbalance by unbalanced load operating condition. They have various serious effects on generator and connection system. In this paper, we analyzed what kind of operation characteristic are happened in the induction generator by customer load variation at the 3-three phase 4-wire distribution system.
