  • We generate classifications and scenarios for intrusions based on 3D LiDAR Data. Research was conducted to analyze and diversify various actual intrusion cases to establish a system that can recognize objects and identify and guard data on intrusion. By generating and simulating basic scenarios for cars, people, animals, natural objects and etc, we create a classification scheme necessary to build and evaluate systems for intrusion. Based on the finally constructed scenario, we add variables for vehicles and surrounding objects to diversify scenarios, and lay the foundation for building accurate and automated alerting systems for future intrusions.

  • The parametric model method determines the accident source term which is Presented by a set of source term parameters. In this method, the cumulative distribution of each source term parameter should be derived for its uncertainty analysis. This paper introduces a method of generating the parameters in the form of cumulative distribution using MAAP version 4.0. In MAAP, there are model parameters which could incorporate uncertain physical and/or chemical phenomena. In general, the model parameters do not have a point value but a range. In this paper, considering that, the input values of model parameters influencing each parameter are sampled using LHS. Then, the computation results are shown in cumulative distribution form. For a case study, the CDFs of FCOR and WES of Kori Unit 1 are derived. The target scenarios for the computation are the ones whose initial events are large LOCA, small LOCA and transient, respectively. It is found that the computed CDF's in this study are consistent to those of NUREG-1150 and the use of MAAP is proven to be adequate in assessing the parameters of the severe accident source term.

  • The bootstrap is a method of computational inference that simulates the creation of new data by resampling from a single data set. We propose a new job for the bootstrap: generating inputs from one historical trace using Threshold Bootstrap. In this regard, the most important quality of bootstrap samples is that they be functionally indistinguishable from independent samples of the same stochastic process. We describe a quantitative measure of difference between two time series, and demonstrate the sensitivity of this measure for discriminating between two data generating processes. Utilizing this distance measure for the task of generating inputs, we show a way of tuning the bootstrap using a single observed trace. This application of the threshold bootstrap will be a powerful tool for Monte Carlo simulation. Monte Carlo simulation analysis relies on built-in input generators. These generators make unrealistic assumptions about independence and marginal distributions. The alternative source of inputs, historical trace data, though realistic by definition, provides only a single input stream for simulation. One benefit of our method would be expanding the number of inputs achieving reality by driving system models with actual historical input series. Another benefit might be the automatic generation of lifelike scenarios for the field of finance.

In order to cut down on costs, save time, and increase reliability, the model based testing approach is the best solution. Such an approach does not require applications or codes prior to generating test cases, so it leads to the early detection of faults, which helps in reducing the development time. Several model-based testing approaches have used different UML models but very few works have been reported to show the generation of test cases that use events. Test cases that use events are an apt choice for these types of systems. However, these works have considered events that happen at a user interface level in a system while other events that happen in a system are not considered. Such works have limited applications in testing the GUI of a system. In this paper, a novel model-based testing approach is presented using business events, state events, and control events that have been captured directly from requirement specifications. The proposed approach documents events in event templates and then builds an event-flow model and a fault model for a system. Test coverage criterion and an algorithm are designed using these models to generate event sequence based test scenarios and test cases. Unlike other event based approaches, our approach is able to detect the proposed faults in a system. A prototype tool is developed to automate and evaluate the applicability of the entire process. Results have shown that the proposed approach and supportive tool is able to successfully derive test scenarios and test cases from the requirement specifications of safety critical systems, real time systems, and event based systems.

  • Development and realization of ubiquitous services in physical space is now in progress to develop ubiquitous smart space (USS). As the development methodologies for USS, scenario development is performed before requirement analysis and design, or vice versa. However, even though lots of redundant elements could be found between scenarios and requirement analysis results, a sort of structural approaches to join them together has been still very rare. Hence, the aim of this paper is to propose a system which generates ubiquitous service senarios and system analysis specifications according to a novel integration methodology. To do so, scenario and requirement analysis are integrated in a structured manner.

  • Despite the increasing interest in cyber security in recent years, the emergence of new technologies has led to a shortage of professional personnel to efficiently perform the cyber security. Although various methods such as cyber rage are being used to cultivate cyber security experts, there are problems of limitation of virtual training system, scenario-based practice content development and operation, unit content-oriented development, and lack of consideration of learner level. In this paper, we develop a fuzzy rule-based user-customized training scenario automatic generation system for improving user's ability to respond to infringement. The proposed system creates and provides scenarios based on advanced persistent threats according to fuzzy rules. Thus, the proposed system can improve the trainee's ability to respond to the bed through the generated scenario.

  • With the advancement of robot intelligence, the concept of man and unmanned teaming (MUM-T) has garnered considerable attention in military research. In this paper, we present a transformer-based architecture for predicting the health status of agents, with the help of multi-head attention mechanism to effectively capture the dynamic interaction between friendly and enemy forces. To this end, we first introduce a framework for generating a dataset of battlefield situations. These situations are simulated on a virtual simulator, allowing for a wide range of scenarios without any restrictions on the number of agents, their missions, or their actions. Then, we define the crucial elements for identifying the battlefield, with a specific emphasis on agents' status. The battlefield data is fed into the transformer architecture, with classification headers on top of the transformer encoding layers to categorize health status of agent. We conduct ablation tests to assess the significance of various factors in determining agents' health status in battlefield scenarios. We conduct 3-Fold corss validation and the experimental results demonstrate that our model achieves a prediction accuracy of over 98%. In addition, the performance of our model are compared with that of other models such as convolutional neural network (CNN) and multi layer perceptron (MLP), and the results establish the superiority of our model.

  • The results of performance analysis by adopting the channel scenarios characterized as Weibull fading for an multicarrierdirect sequence-coded division multiple access (MC-DS-CDMA) system are proposed in this investigation. On the other hand, an approximate simple expression with the criterion of bit error rate (BER) versus signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) method is derived for an MC-DS-CDMA system combining with maximal ratio combining (MRC) diversity based on the moment generating function (MGF) formula of Weibull statistics, and it associates with an alternative expression of Gaussian Q-function. Besides, the other point of view on the BER performance evaluation of an MC-DS-CDMA system is not only the assumption of both single-user and multi-user cases applied, but the phenomena of partial band interference (PBI) is also included. Moreover, in order to validate the accuracy in the derived formulas, some of the system parameters, such as Weibull fading parameter (${\beta}$), user number (K), spreading chip number (N), branch number (L), and the PBI (JSR) values, etc., are compared with each other in the numerical results. To the best of author's knowledge, it is a brand new idea which proposes the evaluation of the system performance for an MC-DS-CDMA system over the point of view with Weibull fading channel.

  • To prepare for the impending climate crisis, it is necessary to establish policies and strategies based on scientific predictions and analyses of climate change impacts. For this, climate change should be considered, however, in conventional scenario-led approach, researchers select and utilize representative climate change scenarios. Using the representative climate change scenarios makes prediction results high uncertain and low reliable, which leads to have limitations in applying them to relevant policies and design standards. Therefore, it is necessary to utilize scenario-neutral approach considering possible change ranges due to climate change. In this study, hydrologic risk was estimated for Boryeong after generating 343 time series of climate stress and calculating drought return period from bivariate drought frequency analysis. Considering 18 scenarios of SSP1-2.6 and 18 scenarios of SSP5-8.5, the results indicated that the hydrologic risks of drought occurrence with maximum return period ranged 0.15±0.025 within 20 years and 0.3125±0.0625 within 50 years, respectively. Therefore, it is necessary to establish drought policies and countermeasures in consideration of the corresponding hydrologic risks in Boryeong.

  • A timing signal board which can be used to analyze EA effect for coherent radar systems is introduced. It is capable of generating the timing signals that are needed for EA test about radar systems in real time. Its function to generate baseband target signal makes it easy to analyze EA effect. Because all parameters of timing signals can be changed by software, it is very easy to configure many kinds of test scenarios.
