This study is concerned with educational services provided for archives with a focus on programs for teachers and students in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to develop the archival-resource based learning model. And the other purpose is to find out the influence of the archival-resource based learning. The researcher and teachers designed two lessen plans for archival-resource based learning and general learning. To compare with the archival-resource based learning and the general learning, the researcher divided into two comparison classes of 6th graders of two elementary schools. Statistical analysis was conducted by analysis of covariance using SPSS WIN 12.0 for t-test.
This study was to explore students' thought patterns on problem and problem solving in the course of general chemistry. The participants were 9 students taking the course of general chemistry in a university in Seoul. Data were collected from various sources; three individual interviews, classroom observations, and essays written by students.Data were all transcribed and then analyzed circularly in constant component analysis. As the results of this study, six thought patterns of students in the context of learning general chemistry were presented. These thought patterns were common and existed important component within most of students' conceptual ecologies about learning chemistry. Implications of chemistry and science learning related to this results were discussed.
The main objective of this research lies in estimating how much importance the educators of professional general education and MSC curriculum put on assessment, and, thereafter, take what support should be provided for the efficient assessment of education. The subjects of this research are educators of professional general education and MSC curriculum in the engineering education enrichment program at the 58 universities out of 72 universities where the accreditation for engineering education is implemented. Accordingly questionnaires were distributed to a total of 58 universities among which 136 questionnaires were collected. The data analysis methods, mean and response sample T test, were used in this research. The following conclusions were drawn from the results of this research. First, tile mean of importance and performance in the 'assessment activities' were relatively high. However, in tile assessment, the assessment performance was relatively lower than the assessment importance. Second, the results of the Importance-Performance Matrix in the 'assessment activities' was analyzed by two ways. First, Analyzed with the scale mean, The result means that Keep up the Good Work (KGW) sector included all factors. Second, Analyzed with the actual mean, The result means that KGW sector included 5 factors A, J, B, D, C. Possible Overkill(PO) sector included factors C, I. Low Priority(LP) sector included 4 factors K, E, H, L. Concentrate Here (CH) sector included factor G.
This study examined the Knowledge of Elementary School Teachers Regarding in ADHD Children Education of ADHD children education for 297 elementary school teachers. The knowledge of ADHD children in inclusive education was made through a questionnaire composed of four areas: attitude, burden, efficacy, and promotional conditions on ADHD children. The collected questionnaire was calculated using technical statistics from the SPSS (WIN 22.0) for frequency and percentage. The results of this study are as follows: First, the teachers of general elementary schools are trying to include education of ADHD children. Second, in the burden of general elementary school teachers on ADHD children education, ADHD children showed interruption of learning, interruption of positive learning atmosphere, interruption of order maintenance of general classroom and teacher's class progress. Third, in the efficacy of general elementary school teachers on ADHD children, they did not have the Knowledge of ADHD symptoms, diagnosis and evaluation of ADHD children, teaching ability for ADHD children education, and ability to deal with ADHD children's behavior. Fourth, in the promotion condition of school for ADHD child education, it was found that there was no connection with external institutions for the support of professional manpower for ADHD children and ADHD child supports.

In this study, we compared the perception of general and specialist teachers about the software education that entered the classroom by the 2015 revised curriculum. For the comparison of cognition, the 17 - hour hourly curriculum, the statement of achievement criteria, and the curriculum were organized in grades 5-6, but the appropriateness of the inclusion of only textbooks in grade 6 was questioned. The general teacher had many opinions that all three items are appropriate. On the other hand, professional teachers were inadequate and many were. It is necessary to provide various opportunities such as the training for the recognition change in the future. In addition, positive keywords for the introduction of general and specialist teachers were derived as a result of analyzing the main keywords of the free - response opinions about the introduction of educational robots in the practical course curriculum and textbooks. However, general teachers showed differences in the use of post - adoption education, such as passive and passive keywords such as support, difficulty, and problems, and the use of specialist teachers and education. In the future, it seems that it is necessary to provide teaching support to elementary school teachers, to provide beginner level difficulty training.
Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors affecting on depression among female middle school students. Methods: A survey was conducted on 217 first and second grade female middle school students in C city. Participants' general characteristics, home environment, level of depression, paternal, maternal, peer attachment, school adjustment were measured by self-reporting questionnaire. With SPSS 18.0 program, measured variables were analyzed and compared using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$ post hoc test, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: The level of depression among female middle school students were higher among students with lower economic status, second in birth order, and second grade in school. The level of depression was negatively associated with the level of paternal attachment (r=-.522), maternal attachment (r=-.487), peer attachment (r=-.376), relationship with teachers in school adjustment (r=-.274), relationship with friends in school adjustment (r=-.378), classroom behavior (r=-.450), school regulation (r=-.267). About 42% of depression among female middle school students were explained by paternal attachment, relationship with friends in school adjustment, and classroom behavior. Conclusion: Paternal attachment was identified as the most influencing factor on depression among female middle school students. Encouraging paternal involvement in the process of school adjustment might be a useful intervention to decrease depression among middle school girls.

In this study, to raise the scientific literacy for students, the teaching and learning program was developed by applying the Circle Map. The purpose of this study was to find out the Effect of Elementary Science Teaching Program with Circle Map on Learning Motive and Learning Achievement. To this end, the 6th grade classroom of A-elementary school located in Jeju-city was selected the experimental group (25 patients). And the other 6th grade classroom in the same school was selected to the comparative group (25 patients). The experimental group was conducted applying the Circle Map. Comparison group has been conducted lesson program in accordance with the general science class teacher guide. Was through a pre-test of science learning motivation and academic achievement level can be assumed in the same group. After completing the experimental treatment by conducting a post-mortem examination was statistically validated. In this study, the following conclusions were obtained. First, elementary science class which applied Circle Map had the effect of to improve the scientific motivation(p <.05). In particular, association in the experimental group were higher than the scores of the comparative group, the difference was significant. Second, the Circle Map applied to elementary science class had a significant effect on improving science achievement. The experimental group which applied Circle Map was higher than the comparative group in science achievement post-test comparison. Between the groups showed a significant difference between the two groups(p <.05). The above findings, Elementary science class which applied Circle Map can be concluded to be effective in science and science achievement motivation. Therefore, applying the Circle Map of elementary science class could be useful in science teaching and learning methods. In addition, when it is determined through the previous study, applying the Circle Map classes will be able to derive a meaningful learning also subjected to a number of fields and areas.

According to several researches and news reports on the lottery system for a school entrance, the private education fee, lower quality of education and classroom crisis at our real education settings are serious. The author analyses that those problems are not because of the lottery system for a school entrance itself, because of not changing the lecturing to all the students in a class into proper teaching and learning method for school condition regards to the lottery system changed 30 years ago. The lottery system makes that the different levels of students are in one class. The author recommends changing the general lecturing into the teaching and learning method by using the information processing models which are made for individual study. She also interprets the synthesis level of a information processing model for the use of teachers and librarians. The synthesis level is most ambiguous process for students when they organize the information gathered into a report.
This study analyzed the effects of science outdoor activity applying a Brain-Based Evolutionary (ABC-DEF) approach on elementary school students' interest and academic achievement. Samples of the study were composed of 3 classes of 67 sixth graders in Seoul, Korea. Unit of 'Ecosystem and Environment' was selected as a object of the research. Textbook- and teachers' guidebook-based instruction was implemented in comparison group, brain-based evolutionary approach within classroom in experimental group A, and science outdoor learning by a brain-based evolutionary approach in experimental group B. In order to analyze the quantitative differences of students' interests and achievements, three tests of 'General Science Attitudes', 'Applied Unit-Related Interests', and 'Applied Unit-Related Achievement' were administered to the students. To find out the characteristics which would not be apparently revealed by quantitative tests, qualitative data such as portfolios, daily records of classroom work, and interview were also analyzed. The major results of the study are as follows. First, for post-test of interest, a statistically significant difference between comparison group and experimental group B was found. Especially, the 'interests about biology learning' factor, when analyzed by each item, was significant in two questions. Results of interviews the students showed that whether the presence or absence of outdoor learning experience influenced most on their interests about the topic. Second, for post-test of achievement, the difference among 3 groups according to high, middle, and low levels of post-interest was not statistically significant, but the groups of higher scores in post-interest tends to have higher scores in post-achievement. It can be inferred that outdoor learning by a brain-based evolutionary approach increases students' situational interests about leaning topic. On the basis of the results, the implications for the research in science education and the teaching and learning in school are discussed.
Students in East Asia have consistently out-performed their counterparts in the West in recent international studies of mathematics achievement. But some studies also show that East Asian students are more rigid in thought, and lack originality and creativity. While different theories have been proposed to account for these student performances, relatively few research studies have been done on classroom practices, potentially a major variable for explaining student performances. This paper will report on the results of two classroom studies: the TIMSS 1999 Video Study and the Learners' Perspective Study (LPS). Results the quantitative analysis of the TlMSS 1999 Video Study data show that the East Asian classrooms were dominated by teacher talk, and the mathematics content learned was abstract and unrelated to the real life. On the other hand, the characteristics of the instructional practices in Hong Kong as judged by an expert panel are that student learned relatively advanced mathematics content; the components of the lessons were more coherent, and the presentation of the lessons was more fully developed. Hong Kong students seemed to be more engaged in the mathematics lessons, and the. overall quality of the lessons was judged to be high. Results of the analysis of the LPS data also show that the classrooms in the East Asian city of Seoul were in general teacher dominated, but students were usually actively engaged in the mathematics learning. Emphasis on exploration of mathematics and practicing exercises with variation was common. It is argued that the quality teaching in the East Asian classrooms laid a firm foundation in mathematics for students, and that constitutes a necessary condition for the development of students' creativity. In order to fully develop the creativity of East Asian students, they need to be given the right environment and encouragement.
