In a faunal survey of the Gelechiidae (Lepidoptera: Gelechioidea) from Is. Ulleung-do in the East Sea of Republic of Korea, one species of Gelechiidae, Bagdadia gnomia Ponomaranko, is reported for the first time from Korea and an unknown species of the genus Bryotropa was discovered. In addition, eight species of Gelechiidae including a little known species, Dichomeris anisacuminata Li & Zheng, were first recorded from Is. Ulleung-do. Images of adults and genitalia for the newly recorded species and a little known species are provided.

During 1999~2000 expedition to Mt. Changbai-san in China, twenty species of Gelechiidae were recognized. Most of the species, except Anacampsis popullela (Clerk), are known for the first time from Mt. Changbai-san, and nine species are newly known from China. Scrobipalpa atriplicella (Fisher and Roslerstamm) and Anarsia lineatella (Zeller) are unknown species from the Korean Peninsula. A new combination, Carpatolechia dehania (Park, 1993), comb. nov. is given.

Two species of Gelechiidae: Helcystogramma compositaepictum (Omelko et Omelko) and Paralida triannulata Clarke are reported from Korea for the first time. The genus Paralida Clarke, 1958 is new to the Korean fauna. Photographs of adults and genitalia for available sexes are provided with notes of distribution.

As a result of investigating biodiversity of lepidopteran fauna in Korea, six species of moths within five families are reported for the first time: Bucculatrix splendida Seksjaeva (Bucculatricidae), Caloptilia isochrysa (Meyrick) (Gracillariidae), Depressaria spectrocentra Meyrick (Depressariidae), Sergeya temulenta (Omelko) (Gelechiidae), Thiotricha attenuata Omelko (Gelechiidae) and Philenora latifasciata Inoue & Kobayashi (Erebidae). Among them, Philenora Rosenstock, 1885 and Sergeya Ponomarenko, 2007 are newly recorded genera for the country. The diagnoses, redescriptions, photographs of adult and genitalia, and DNA barcode information are provided in this study.

Three species of Gelechiidae, Gnorimoschema streliciellum (Herrich-Sch$\ddot{a}$ffer, 1854), Syncopacma wormiella (Wolff, 1958), and Mesophleps acutunca Li and Sattler, 2012 are reported for the first time from Korea. Specific diagnoses and re-descriptions are provided as necessary, with adult and male genitalia images.

During the course of the faunal study of Gelechiidae in Jeju, Korea, totally 12 species were recognized in this study. Of them, three species of Gelchiidae from Jeju Island; Anarsia euphorodes Meyrick, A. protensa Park, and Toronodoxa leptopalta Meyrick, are reported for the first time from Korea. An additional nine species which are known for the first time from Jeju Island are listed with new collecting data.

Genus Origo Omelko is synonymied as a junior synonym of Parastenolechia Kanazawa and the subspecies umbrosa Omelko as a junior synonym of argobathra Megrick. Laris superva Omelko and Telphusa clausterifera Meyrick are removed to the genus Parastenolechia. Among the 5 species redescribed in this article, 4 species are reported for the time from Korea.
