아세톤 농도에 따른 젤네일 리무버액이 손톱에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Gel Nail Remover Liquid on Nail According to Acetone Concentrationon)

  • 본 연구는 아세톤 농도에 따른 리무버액의 젤네일 제거 정도, 손톱 표면에 미치는 영향을 비교하고자 100%아세톤, 5%아세톤, 0%아세톤, 아보카도 넌아세톤 4종의 리무버액으로 젤네일을 제거하여 시간경과에 따른 손톱 변화를 관찰하였고 제거 전 후의 손톱 표면거칠기, 표면볼륨, 수분량 및 경피 수분증발량을 측정하였다. 실험 결과, 젤네일 제거정도에서 100%아세톤, 아보카도 넌아세톤, 5%아세톤, 0%아세톤 순으로 젤이 제거되었고 손톱 표면거칠기에서는 5%아세톤, 0%아세톤, 아보카도 넌아세톤이, 표면볼륨에서는 0%아세톤이 젤네일 제거 전 후 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았으며 손톱 표면수분량에서는 0%아세톤의 경우 젤네일 제거 전 후 감소가, 경피수분증발량에서는 0%아세톤의 경우 젤네일 제거 전 후 증가가 가장 적은 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 5%, 0%아세톤이 젤네일을 제거하는 리무버액으로 사용이 가능하며 손톱 손상에 영향이 제일 적은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구가 비아세톤계 리무버 제품 개발과 네일 미용 발전에 기초 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

졸 겔 법을 이용한 Cao-SiO2계 겔의 합성 및 구조분석 (Preparation and Structural Analysis of Cao-SiO2 Gel by Sol-Gel Method)

  • It has been proposed that the Cao-$SiO_2$ binary system can be good basic composition of bioactive glasses and glass-ceramics. In the present study, various kinds of Cao-$SiO_2$ gels were prepared by sol-gel method in order to control the microstructure which are related to their dissolution rate, induction period of apatite formation in body environment. Characterization of the gels were done by wet chemical analysis, SEM observation, FT-IR spectroscopy and XRD. The gelation time decreased with CaO content. However, the volume of all the dried gel decreased to 50% of the wet gels irrespective of increasement of CaO content. All the Cao-$SiO_2$ gels were amorphous and contained a large amount of silanol groups on their surfaces after heat treatment up to $800^{\circ}C$. The interconnected structure of the gel changed to agglomerated spherical powders when Ca content exceed to 20 mol%. Most of the Cao-$SiO_2$ gel showed amorphous when heat-treated up to $900^{\circ}C$. However, quartz and cristobalite was produced when heat-treated at $1000^{\circ}C$ and resultant microstructure of the gel contained microporous structure.

  • Recently, with the rapid development of the waveguide division multiplexing (WDM) systems for large capacity and flexibility of information network, the broad band 1.5$\mu\textrm{m}$ erbium-doped waveguide amplifier (EDWA) become important. The main factors affecting the performance of sol-gel-based waveguides are non-radiative relaxation channels due to rare-earth concentration quenching and to vibration of the OH groups Therefore, the sol-gel process has to be carefully controlled in order to minimize the residual OH content.

Effects of Ultrasonic Irradiation on Physical Properties of Silica/PEG Hybrids

  • The effect of ultrasonic radiation is reported for silica-poly(ethylene glycol) system prepared without the solvent using sol-gel processing by varying various parameters such as ultrasonic irradiation time, PEG content and HCl/TEOS molar ratio. The property of sonogel is compared with classic gel which has been prepared with ethanol as a solvent by traditional sol-gel processing. SEM, BET, DTA-TGA, density and Vickers hardness measurements are carried out for analyzing the samples. The gelation time is found strongly dependent on radiation time, PEG content and pH value, and has been discussed on the basis of existing theories. The $SiO_2-10$ & 20 wt% PEG sonogel exhibited superior optical, physical and gel properties as compared to the classic gel, hence, found suitable for device applications. The ultrasonic radiation increased the density and surface area, and also reduced the pore size which is well supported by the shift in the peak of DTA curve. The DTA thermogram was found similar to that of pure silica gel.

홍삼 겔 첨가량에 따른 콩다식의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of Soybean Dasik Containing Different Amounts of Red Ginseng Gel)

  • Soybean powder is a readily available ingredient that is consumed daily as a functional food material. Furthermore, red Ginseng is an herb with various physiological effects. Therefore, in this study, we examined the physiochemical characteristics of Soybean Dasik samples prepared with different amounts of added red Ginseng gel, including Hunter's color values, mechanical characteristics, and sensory qualities. The results of each analysis are as follows. For the soybean Dasik stored at room temperature($20^{\circ}C$), luminance was reduced as the amount of added red Ginseng gel increased. In addition, Hunter's a and b values were significantly higher in Dasik samples that did not contain red Ginseng gel, as compared to those with increasing red Ginseng gel content. The mechanical properties of the Dasik were also measured at room temperature showing significant differences between samples(p<0.001) for hardness, springiness, cohesiveness, gumminess, and chewiness. In the sensory evaluation, 3 rounds of testing indicated that sweetness acceptance scores were significantly reduced(p<0.001) as the amount of added red Ginseng gel in the Dasik increased. Finally, overall quality was significantly different between the samples(p<0.001) and acceptance scores increased with increasing red Ginseng gel content.

실리카겔 충전층에서의 유효열전도율 측정 (Measurement of Effective Thermal Conductivity in Silica Gel Packed Bed)

  • This paper presents an experimental measurement of effective thermal conductivity in an adsorbent packed bed with silica gel A type. The effective thermal conductivity was measured under different conditions of the adsorbent bed temperature, pressure, particle size and water content by using the transient hot wire method. The measured effective thermal conductivity showed to become bigger with decreasing particle size or increasing water content, but it was a little affected with increasing bed temperature and pressure. The bed temperature was varied in the range of 1$0^{\circ}C$ (equation omitted) T (equation omitted) 5$0^{\circ}C$ and the pressure in the range of 10 kPa (equation omitted) P (equation omitted) 190 kPa. The results show that 0.10~0.18 W/mㆍK of effective thermal conductivity measured for the zero water content.

내열특성 개선을 위한 폴리(비닐 알코올) 수화젤의 화학 가교와 방사선 가교에 관한 연구 (Study on the Chemical and Radiation Crosslinking of Poly(vinyl alcohol) Hydrogels for an Improvement of Heat Resistance)

  • 화학적 가교와 방사선 가교에 의해 내열특성을 가진 PVA 수화젤을 제조하였다. 제조된 수화젤의 젤화율, 팽윤도와 젤강도 같은 기계적 특성을 측정하였다. 젤화율은 화학적 가교 반응시간과 방사선 조사선량이 증가할수록 증가하였고, 화학적 가교 후에 방사선 가교를 했을 경우에 화학적 가교만 했을 때보다 높은 값을 보였다. 젤강도는 화학적 가교 반응시간이 증가할수록 증가하였고, 방사선 조사선량이 감소할수록 증가하였다. 5시간 화학적 가교만 한수화젤과 화학적 가교 후에 방사선 가교를 한 수화젤이 고온에서의 내열특성이 우수하였다.

Low-ester Pectin Gel의 단단함과 강도(强度)의 예측 (Prediction of Firmness and Strength of Low-ester Pectin Gel from Chemical Composition)

  • High-ester pectin을 HCI 단독 또는 HCI 과 $NH_4OH$를 병용하여 demethylation 시킨뒤 얻어진 low-ester pectin(LM pectin)으로 gel을 제조하였다. LM pectin gel의 단단함과 강도(强度)를 측정한 결과 HCI로 처리된 LM pectin gel은 일반적으로 강도(强度)가 약하고 거칠며 탄력이 없었다. 반면 $HCl-NH_4OH$로 처리한 LM pectin gel은 텍스쳐가 부드럽고 탄력이 좋았다. 물리적 성질에 대한 LM pectin의 화학적 조성의 상관 관계에서 단단함(Sag값)에 대한 ester함량 및 분자량, 그리고 강도(强度)(puncture stress)에 대한 amide 및 ester함량 EH는 분자량 간에는 유의성 있는 관계가 밝혀졌다. 상관성이 높은 화학적 인자에서 LM pectin gel의 물리적 성질을 예측할 수 있는 관계식을 산출하였다.

생산시기가 비규격 넙치 (Paralichthys olivaceus) 연제품의 품질에 미치는 영향 (Quality of Bastard Halibut Surimi Gel as Affected by Harvested Time of Unmarketable Cultured Bastard Halibut Paralichthys olivaceus)

  • In this study, we investigated the chemical and enzymatic properties of unmarketable cultured bastard halibut (UCBH) Paralichthys olivaceus harvested at different times (March, May, July, September, November, and January), and we examined the physical properties of surimi gel from UCBH as a potential source of surimi and surimi gel. The moisture and crude protein contents of UCBH harvested in July and January were >78% and <19%, respectively, which is greater than the moisture content in UCBH harvested in May, March, and September, but lower than the crude protein content. Regardless of the month of harvest, the UCBH had a higher crude protein content than Alaska pollock, which is the largest fishery biomass used for surimi and surimi gel, but a lower moisture content. Regardless of the month of harvest, the enzymatic activity in crude extracts of UCBH muscle ranged from 0.31-0.59 U/mg for casein (pH 6.0 and 9.0) and 11.7-12.7 U/mg for LeuPNA. These findings suggest that autolytic enzymes were unaffected by gel formation. Gel strength was highest in the surimi gel prepared from UCBH harvested in September, November, and January; second highest in that prepared from UCBH harvested in March and May; and lowest in that prepared from UCBH harvested in July. Compared to the gel strength of surimi gel from grade SA commercial Alaska pollock surimi, the strength of the surimi gels prepared from UCBH harvested in March, May, September, November, and January were superior, whereas that of the surimi gel prepared from UCBH harvested in July was similar.

초임계 이산화탄소를 이용한 Phenolic/Furfural계 유기 겔 입자의 합성 및 물성 (Preparation and Characterization of Phenolic/Furfural Organic Gel Microspheres in Supercritical $CO_2$)

  • 본 연구에서는 초임계 이산화탄소를 반응 연속상으로 하여 졸-에멀젼-겔 방법에 의한 신합성 공정을 통해 1-6 $\mu\textrm{m}$의 평균 입자 크기를 갖는 페놀릭/퍼퍼랄(phenolic/furfural, P/F) 겔 입자를 성공적으로 제조하였다. 이때 초임계 이산화탄소에 잘 녹는 폴리디메틸실록산(poly-(dimethylsiloxane), PDMS)은 초임계 이산화탄소내에서 P/F 용액을 분산시키는 효과적인 안정제로 사용되었다. 입자 크기와 입자 크기 분포에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 고형분과 안정제 함량비를 변화시켜 실험한 결과, P/F 입자의 평균 입자 크기는 고형분의 함량비가 증가함에 따라 증가했으나, 안정제의 함량비에 따른 변화는 크지 않았다. 또한 P/F 겔 입자의 구조 및 열 안정성은 IR 분석과 TGA를 통해 확인하였다.
