기어쌍의 래틀진동에 대한 영향도 평가 및 기어 진동 저감을 위한 대책 제시 (Influence Rate Estimation of Gearpair on the Rattle Vibration and Counterplan Suggestion for Reduction of Gear Vibration)

  • In recent year, as the demand about low vibration and noise vehicle is increased constantly. automobile companies try to a lot of things to achieve this demand. Gear rattle vibration become an emergency problem to be cured at idling. There are two kinds method to reduce idle gear rattle vibration One is optimization of clutch damper design parameters(stiffness, hysteresis torque, preload, length of lst stage) the other is system parameters modification(inertia, drag torque, backlash, etc) But these methods are impossible to estimate influence rate of each gearpair on the idle gear rattle vibration. In this study, 14degrees of freedom nonlinear model is developed to analyze influnce rate of each gearpair on the idle gear rattle vibration and the counterplan to reduce the gear noise is suggeted through the shift system modification.

  • Planetary gearing is a gear system consisting of one or more planet gears, revolving about a sun gear. While the planetary gear system has many advantages- for example, high power density, large reduction in a small volume, multiple kinematic combinations, pure torsional reactions, and coaxial shafting, it has not been widely used because of its high bearing loads, inaccessibility, and design complexity. It is also necessary to shift several pairs of gear profiles at a same time. Therefore, designing profile shifted planetary gear system is a difficult and know-how dependent job. This study provides a practical solution to design a profile shifted gear system by the procedural design scheme, and proposes a bearing integrated structure of the dual stage profile shifted gear system with a robust output end. A dual stage profile shifted gear system with the bearing integrated structure is manufactured by the proposed design scheme in this study. This gear system is verified that it is good enough to commercialize, because it has high performance with high gear ratio and robust output end against axial and radial directional runouts in a small space.

수동변속기용 비접촉식 변속단 감지센서 개발 (Development of the Non-contacted Gear Detection Sensor for a Manual Transmission)

  • The present paper relates to a development of the Gear Detection Sensor for automotive manual transmission. To detect air gap from control finger to detecting zone of sensor based on non-contacted method, permanent magnet and linear type Hall IC are mounted in this sensor. Control finger is machined to 3 step heights to detect 3 gear stages such as In-Gear, Normal and Rear. After conducting actual experimentation based on exclusive Jig and FEM, it is described to consider possibility for automotive application of Gear Detection Sensor.

  • Counter shaft transmission is a popular automatic transmission power train in construction vehicles such as wheel loader and forklift. The gear train layout of counter shaft transmission is a very basic and important development stage because it affects the most of components design including hydraulic system and shift control algorithm, etc. This paper presents a design methodology for the gear train layout from the analysis of power flow path and clutch hook-up of the existing counter shaft transmission that is adopted in commercialized construction vehicles. Also, independent constraints for the meshed gear ratios are derived in order to realize forward 4-speed and reverse 3-speed gear ratio. The layout design principle proposed here was applied to the new original counter shaft transmission that is underdevelopment.

수동휠체어의 변속 기능이 추진 동작에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Manual Wheelchairs' Transmission on the Propulsion Motion)

  • This work intends to investigate the effects of shift characteristics on the propulsion performance of a manual wheelchair with an automatic transmission. A planetary gear train is employed to generate a two-stage shift automatically, based on the distance traveled from rest. Motion analysis has been performed for measuring kinematic properties of the arm and then the inverse dynamics has been applied for estimating joint forces/torques. Then, a parametric study has been performed to find a set of the shift ratios and the shift intervals for optimizing propulsion performance. Results show that the propulsion performance is closely related to the shift condition. It is found that a short shift interval is desirable for a short distance propulsion. However, an optimum shift interval for a long distance propulsion is inversely proportional to the shift ratio approximately. Consequently, the automatic transmission can greatly lower the joint loadings by the speed reduction, which eventually contribute to prevent joint injuries of wheelchair users.

  • At design stage of the TRXI agricultural tractor transmission (New product of TongYang Moolsan Co., Ltd), the noise and vibration of the transmission were analyzed theoretically for the optimal design of the transmission . For this analysis, the finite element model was developed using a commercial computer software, ANSYS. The noise and vibration of the TRXI transmission housing were predicted by the modal analysis. Natural frequency of the TRXI transmission housing was ranged from 12.53Hz(1st mode ) to 30.05Hz(5th mode). The fifth mode took place at the bearing metal in the area of rear transmission housing and was very close to the gear mesh frequency (30.5Hz) of low rang gear at the low creep shifting . Based on the results , the bearing metal of the range shift housing was reenforced with the rib at design stage.

  • 세계적으로 친환경자동차의 연구 및 개발이 확대되면서 주행거리를 증대시키기 위해 차량의 부가적인 장치를 축소·삭제하거나 경량화를 위한 연구를 진행하고 있다. 그 중 내연기관자동차에 적용되던 다단변속기를 삭제하고 감속기로 대체하여 모터출력 값 제어를 통해 토크증대로 초기구동력을 확보하고 있다. 하지만 잦은 모터의 속도변화로 부하가 상승되는 결과를 가져올 수 있기 때문에 본 연구에서는 일반적인 감속기구조를 갖는 소형·경량의 수동 2단 감속기를 개발하려고 한다. 따라서 평행축을 갖는 구조에 대기어와 소기어를 삽입하여 평행한 축의 감속기형태에서 V-벨트로 기어를 연결하고, 저단과 고단의 기어비를 각각 설정하여 2개의 기어비를 갖는 2단 변속기를 설계하였다. 또한 변속기의 회전속도와 부하에 따른 동력성능을 시험을 통해 확인하고 구동시 발생되는 발열특성을 확인하여 변속기의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • As a shift control of automatic transmission was managed with the electronic control unit (ECU), shift quality which is a measure of shift shock during gear change has markedly improved. However, the initial clutch pressure control of the clutch filling phase should continue to rely on the predetermined control input since the input and output speeds are unchanged until the shifting process attains the inertia phase. It is critical to minimize the clutch response time and control the clutch pressure accurately at the end of clutch fill to achieve quick shift response and smoothness. Advanced transmission companies have adopted an auto calibration method which establishes the databases for the clutch piston fill-up attributes and the frictional characteristics of the disks. In this study, a distinctive auto calibration algorithm for forklift transmission under development is proposed and verified with the real-vehicle test. The experimental calibration results showed consistent turbine dynamics at the initial stage of shifts with the properly calibrated clutch-fill control parameters. By using this technique, it is necessary to finalize the shift control for the various operation conditions.

  • 본 연구에서는 초소형 특수목적형 전기자동차에 적용 가능한 초소형 변속기에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 일반적으로 전기자동차에서는 다단 기어형태의 변속기를 삭제하고 모터의 출력을 제어하거나 감속기를 통해 초기 구동력을 확보한다. 그러나 전기카트나 경형 전기자동차와 같은 초소형 차량에서는 배터리 용량이 상대적으로 적기 때문에 적재 상태에 따라 주행 거리가 감소하거나 모터에 부하가 가해질 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission)의 변속 메커니즘을 적용하여, 구배 상태나 적재 상태와 같은 필요한 상황에서 변속이 가능한 고단 0.625와 저단1.6의 기어비를 갖는 2단 구조의 감속기를 개발하였다. 선정된 기어비를 기반으로 변속기를 설계하고, 개발된 변속기의 동력 전달 효율을 검증하기 위해 시험기를 제작하였다. 이 시험기를 통해 변속기의 회전 속도와 부하량을 변화시키며 동력 전달 효율 특성을 확인하고, 변속과 구동 시 발생되는 발열 특성도 확인하였다. 그 결과를 토대로 CVT구조를 갖는 2단 구조의 변속기를 개발하였다.

차량의 동력전달장치 모델 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of the Vehicle Powertrain Model)

  • To estimate fuel consumption of a vehicle, a car can be tested on chassis dynamometer. In this case, test causes a lot of time and money. To predict the fuel efficiency of vehicles in the design stage or early stage of development, the development of computer simulation model is necessary. Using simulation to predict the fuel consumption, the driving model which consists of time-velocity profile and time-grade profile is necessary In this study, vehicle model is developed in MatLab/simulink to estimate real driving fuel consumption rate with time-velocity profile, time-shift gear profile and time-grade profile. Vehicle model consists of driver model, engine model, power train model, and so on. On-road vehicle tests to verify the vehicle model are carried out for analyzing the result of simulation and comparing with those of the experiments.
