LGT를 이용한 고온, 고압용 동압 센서 개발 (Development of the high-temperature, high-pressure Dynamic pressure sensor with LGT)

  • This study developed a high-temperature, high-pressure dynamic pressure sensor using LGT(lanthanum gallium tantalate). The sensitivity of the fabricated dynamic pressure sensor was 2.1 mV/kPa and its nonlinearity was 2.5%FS. We confirmed that the high-temperature dynamic pressure sensor operated stably in high-temperature environment at $500^{\circ}C$. The developed dynamic pressure sensor using LGT is expected to be applicable not only to gas turbines but also in various industrial areas in duding airplanes and power stations.

연료와 공기의 혼합정도가 모델 가스터빈 연소기내의 압력변동에 미치는 영향 (Effect of the Unmixedness of Fuel and Air on the Pressure Fluctuations in a Model Gas Turbine Combustor)

  • Combustion instability is a serious obstacle for the lean premixed combustion of gas turbines, and can even cause fatal damage to the combustor and the entire system. Thus, improved understanding of the mechanisms of combustion instability is necessary for designing and operating gas turbine combustors. In this study, in order to understand the instability phenomena, an experimental study was conducted in a rearwardstep dump combustor with LPG and air. The fluctuations of pressure and heat release were measured by piezoelectric pressure sensor and High speed Intensified Charge Coupled Device (ICCD) camera respectively. Various types of combustion modes occurred in accordance with the equivalence ratio and the fuel supplying conditions. The unmixedness of the fuel and air can be controlled by changing the mixing distance ($L_{fuel}$). It is found that the unmixedness of the fuel and air affects the characteristics of flame behavior and pressure fluctuations in a lean premixed flame.

엔진 고공 시험에서 공기 유량 측정용 벤투리 파이프의 제작 및 측정 불확도 분석 (Manufacture and Measurement Uncertainty Analysis of a Venturi Pipe for Airflow Measurement in Altitude Engine Test)

  • Design, manufacture and calibration procedures of a venturi pipe flowmeter for airflow measurement in altitude engine test were discussed. Altitude engine test using venturi pipe was given as an example. The venturi was designed per the ISO standard of ISO5167, and was intented to include the entire airflow range in the test envelope of the gas turbine engine. Measurement uncertainty analysis was performed in the design procedure to investigate the effect of venturi geometry and sensor specification upon the measurement uncertainty. Manufacturing process was designed to minimize the deviation from the geometry of design. Calibration was performed to get the relationship between the discharge coefficient and the pipe Reynolds number. Then the uncertainty was assessed again using real data acquired during engine test. Through these procedures, it was possible to maintain the uncertainty of airflow measurement under 1 % for most of the operating envelope of the gas turbine engine. The discharge coefficient of the venturi pipe showed agreement with the value suggested in the ISO standard ISO5167-4 within 0.6 %.

커널회귀 모델기반 가스터빈 축진동 신호이상 분석 (Kernel Regression Model based Gas Turbine Rotor Vibration Signal Abnormal State Analysis)

  • 본 논문에서는 가스 터빈 축 진동 신호 비정상 상태 분석의 사례 연구를 위해 커널 회귀 모델을 적용한다. 원격으로 전송되는 발전소 가스터빈의 진동데이터에 커널 회귀 모델을 적용하여 설비를 실시간으로 감시 및 분석 외에도, 축진동 신호의 비정상 상태를 분석하기 위하여 활용될 수 있다. 정상운전 중에 측정한 가스터빈의 정상적인 축진동 데이터 기반의 훈련데이터를 사용하여 생성한 자동연관커널회귀의 경험적 모델을 생성하고 적용할 수 있다. 이 데이터 기반 모델의 예측치를 실시간 데이터와 비교하여 신호의 상태를 분석하고 잔차를 감시하여 이상상태에 대한 분석 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 이상상태에서 발생하는 잔차는 비정상적으로 변화됨으로서 비정상 상태를 분석 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 커널회귀모델은 축진동 센서의 신호 이상의 원인 분석 사례에서 고장을 구분할 수 있는 정보를 제공한다.

For identification of reliability for sensor, a shorted-turn test was performed at the Seoinchon & Sininchon combined cycle power plant on gas turbine generator.   • An effective method of detecting inter-turn short circuits on round rotor windings is described. Shorted-turns can have significant effects on a generator and its performance. A method of detecting inter-turn short circuits on rotor windings is described. The approach used is to measure the rate of change of the air-gap flux density wave when the rotor is at operating speed and excitation is applied to the field winding. The inter-turn short circuits sensor for synchronous generator's field winding has been developed. The sensor, installed in the generator air-gap, senses the slot leakage flux of field winding and produces a voltage waveform proportional to the rate of change of the flux. For identification of reliability for sensor, a inter-turn short circuits test was performed at the West-Inchon combined cycle power plant on gas turbine generator and steam turbine generator. This sensor will be used as a detecting of shorted-turn for field winding of synchronous generator. The purpose of this paper is to describe the design and operation of a sensitive inter-turn short circuits detector. In this paper, development of inter-turn short circuits sensor for field winding of synchronous generator and application in a field.

  • 본 연구에서는 가스 터빈 엔진의 결함에 의해 나타나는 엔진의 성능 저하를 진단하는 기법을 연구하였다. 대상 엔진을 모델화하기 위해 상용 프로그램 GSP를 이용하여 저하된 성능 진단을 위한 변수들을 추출하였으며 이를 바탕으로 Health Monitoring을 위한 Virtual Sensor Model을 구축하였다. 단일 결함과 복합 결함을 예측하기 위한 방법으로 Multiple Linear Regression기법과 가중치를 이용한 기법을 도입하여 엔진 구성품의 결함 위치 및 결함 정도를 예측하였다.

  • 모델기반 FDI 과정에서 모델오차와 센서잡음은 피할 수 없으므로 견실성은 모델기반 FDI에서 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 선형모델 오차 및 신호잡음으로 인하여 고장진단 과정에서 발생하는 결함판단 오류들을 비선형 NARX (Nonlinear Auto Regressive eXogenous) 모델과 칼만추정기를 적용하여 개선하는 방법을 제안하였다. 최종 고장판단은 퍼지로직을 이용하여 발생하는 오차의 추이에 대한 확률로 결정하여 순간적인 신호잡음에 강인하도록 설계하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 운용 환경조건에서 엔진제어기의 고장허용에 따른 성능을 확인하였다.
