PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the reliability of computer-aided replica technique (CART) by calculating its agreement with the replica technique (RT), using statistical agreement analysis. MATERIALS AND METHODS. A prepared metal die and a metal crown were fabricated. The gap between the restoration and abutment was replicated using silicone indicator paste (n = 25). Gap measurements differed in the control (RT) and experimental (CART) groups. In the RT group, the silicone replica was manually sectioned, and the marginal and occlusal gaps were measured using a microscope. In the CART group, the gap was digitized using optical scanning and image superimposition, and the gaps were measured using a software program. The agreement between the measurement techniques was evaluated by using the 95% Bland-Altman limits of agreement and concordance correlation coefficients (CCC). The least acceptable CCC was 0.90. RESULTS. The RT and CART groups showed linear association, with a strong positive correlation in gap measurements, but without significant differences. The 95% limits of agreement between the paired gap measurements were 3.84% and 7.08% of the mean. The lower 95% confidence limits of CCC were 0.9676 and 0.9188 for the marginal and occlusal gap measurements, respectively, and the values were greater than the allowed limit. CONCLUSION. The CART is a reliable digital approach for evaluating the fit accuracy of fixed dental prostheses.

The purpose of this study is to solve the problem of revision or abbreviation of questionnaires based on the previous studies suggested by many existing empirical studies. In addition, this study aims to provide the theoretical basis of the research method which has been variously approached since it presents the methodology that can directly measure the research object. For this purpose, this study proposed a more elaborate analysis method using the differences in perception of individuals who are interested in cognitive research. Specifically, the perception gap(D) can be used as an independent variable, a dependent variable, and a moderating variable. And this study suggested an effective research approach using the measurement of perception difference. The difference of perception suggested that it can be used as a measure to overcome the limitations of existing researches used it as independent variables or mediating variables that measure only one factor of expectation and performance or importance and satisfaction. In addition, it is highly likely that various analyzes on the perception differences, which are the result of measuring target factors for the same person, will be quite effective in the situation where follow-up of respondents is difficult. This study is expected to overcome various limitations reported by empirical studies such as scale utilization problem and follow-up survey difficulty. In future research, it was expected that the limitation of the factor derivation process in the research approach could be complemented by web crawling and text mining of big data analysis.
The temperature measurement of yen high temperature core melt is of importance in LAVA (Lower-plenum Arrested Vessel Attack) experiment in which gap formation between core melt and the reactor lower head, and the effect of the gap on thermal behavior are to be measured. The delay time of ultrasonic wavelets due to high temperature is suggested. As a first stage, a molten material temperature was measured up to 2300℃. Also, the optimization design of the ultrasonic temperature sensor with persistence at the high temperature was suggested in this paper. And the utilization of the theory suggested in the reference〔1〕and the efficiency of the developed system are certified by performing experiments. This sensor welded magnetostrictive element and tungsten element will be able to measure a temperature range of 3000℃ hereafter.
The AlCrN films were grown by RF reactive sputtering method under the selected conditions. The Cr concentration was varied by the number of Cr pieces placed on the Al target. The sample quality has been studied by XRD, Auger spectroscopy, optical absorption and electrical resistant measurements. The XRD and Auger results show that the samples consist of a major phase with the $Al_{1-x}Cr_xN$ formula, which has a hexagonal structure, and a few percents at. of oxygen, which may form $Al_2O_3$. There exist the Cr clusters in the samples with high concentration of Cr. The optical absorption measurement provides the information about the band gap that relates strongly to the quality of samples. The quality of samples is also clearly reflected in electrical measurement, i.e., the temperature dependence of resistance exhibits a semiconductor characteristic only for the samples that have no Cr cluster. In these cases, the values of ionization energies $E_a$ can be derived from R(T) plots by using the function R(T) = Ro exp $(E_a/k_BT)$.

This study focuses on identifying and prioritizing the broader performance measures for the service supply chains by taking the case of Majan Electricity Company, Sohar, in the Sultanate of Oman. For an examination of the uniformity of ultimate objectives and the priorities therein, two strata of respondents with a total of fourteen respondents were approached for their valuable insights. Suitable structured instruments were personally administered to elicit the insightful and worthy responses. The two multi-criteria decision-making techniques, namely, the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process and the Best-Worst Method were used to reach a meaningful prioritization of the identified and refined broader performance measurement dimensions. The results show that there exists a minor gap between the two respondents' groups in terms of their prioritizations. The major finding points to the difference in terms of the topmost priorities as revealed by the two set of respondents. For one group of respondents, the customer satisfaction matters the most, whereas for the other group, it is the overall profitability that matters the most. This gap against the utopian state assists in concluding that there is a requirement to reorient the employees so as to have a shared and common understanding of the organizational priorities.

A silver indium sulfide($AgInS_2$) epilayer was grown by the hot wall epitaxy method, which has not been reported in the literature. The grown $AgInS_2$ epilayer has found to be a chalcopyrite structure and evaluated to be high qualify crystal. From the photocurrent measurement in the temperature range from 30 K to 300 K, the two peaks of A and B were only observed, whereas the three peaks of A, B, and C were seen in the PC spectrum of 10 K. These peaks. are ascribed to the band-to-band transition. The valence band splitting of $AgInS_2$ was investigated by means of the photocurrent measurement. The crystal field splitting, $\ddot{A}cr$, and the spin orbit splitting, $\ddot{A}so$, have been obtained to be 0.150 eV and 0.009 eV at 10 K, respectively. And, the energy band gap at room temperature has been determined to be 1.868 eV. Also, the temperature dependence of the energy band gap, $E_g(T)$, was determined.
Grid computing is an emerging technology that enables global resource sharing. In Korea, the $K^*$Grid provides an extremely powerful research environment to both industries and academia. As part of the $K^*$Grid project, we have constructed, together with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information and a number of domestic universities, a supercomputer Grid test bed which connects several types of supercomputers based on the globus toolkit. To achieve efficient networking in this Grid testbed, we propose a novel method of available bandwidth measurement, called Decoupled Capacity measurement with Initial Gap (DCIG), using packet trains. DCIG can improve the network efficiency by selecting the best path among several candidates. Simulation results show that DCIG outperforms previous work in terms of accuracy and the required measurement time. We also define a new XML schema for DCIG request/response based on the schema defined by the Global Grid Forum (GGF) Network Measurement Working Group (NM-WG).

PURPOSE. The purposes of this study were to evaluate the marginal and internal gaps, and the potential clinical applications of three different methods of dental prostheses fabrication, and to compare the prostheses prepared using the silicone replica technique (SRT) and those prepared using the three-dimensional superimposition analysis (3DSA). MATERIALS AND METHODS. Five Pekkton, lithium disilicate, and zirconia crowns were each manufactured and tested using both the SRT and the two-dimensional section of the 3DSA. The data were analyzed with the nonparametric version of a two-way analysis of variance using rank-transformed values and the Tukey's post-hoc test (${\alpha}=.05$). RESULTS. Significant differences were observed between the fabrication methods in the marginal gap (P < .010), deep chamfer (P < .001), axial wall (P < .001), and occlusal area (P < .001). A significant difference in the occlusal area was found between the two measurement methods (P < .030), whereas no significant differences were found in the marginal gap (P > .350), deep chamfer (P > .719), and axial wall (P > .150). As the 3DSA method is three-dimensional, it allows for the measurement of arbitrary points. CONCLUSION. All of the three fabrication methods are valid for measuring clinical objectives because they produced prostheses within the clinically acceptable range. Furthermore, a three-dimensional superimposition analysis verification method such as the silicone replica technique is also applicable in clinical settings.
This study aims to define the isochronism of English feet. 275 feet, which consist of 66 lines of 13 poems written by 12 modem poets(The Poet Speaks, 1982), were used for analysis of durational measurement. To assess the average value of a foot, the study is, first, to set up a way of measuring the duration of each foot on its types in English meter. Secondly, with the measurement of the average duration of feet in modern poets' English poetries through Praat (version 4.119, 2003), it clarifies the foot isochronism in the fixed meter. With the two ways of measuring the isochronism, it clarifies the fact the foot isochronism permits the difference scope of the perceptive gap of 555.4-974.5msec. per foot in case of iambic meters in English poetry.

Recently, as a result of the application of large and multi-blade propellers with high efficiency for large vessels, the vertical bending stiffness of propulsion shafting system tends to be declined. For some specific vessels, the shaft arrangement leads to the forward stern tube bearing to be omitted, decreasing vertical bending stiffness. In this respect, decreased vertical bending stiffness causes the problem which is the blade order resonance frequency to be placed within the operational rpm range of propulsion shafting system. To verify whirling vibration, the measurement should be carried out covering from operating rpm up to target rpm, however, the range is un-measurable generally. In order to resolve the measurement issue, this study shows the measuring method and the assessment method of relevant natural frequency of whiling vibration by using measured harmonic order component of whirling vibration.
