  • A game story that used to be free needs a work of concrete and artificial organizing and arranging these days. This is because a game story is frequently made into a new genre such as a movie or an animation. As shown in many previous studies, most of the movies made from successful digital games failed to receive satisfying box office results. To overcome this, narratively completed storytelling should be presented from the development phase of a game. The methods are as follows: It is necessary to maximize the synergy effect through the interaction between storytelling experts, game developers, animators, and movie producers in developing a game. This will help to create a game with more sophisticated and complete narrative structure than now. It is necessary to secure the diversification of game genres. Currently in Korea, online games are unusually leading the game industry. PC games or console games are more advantageous than online games for putting a finished narrative structure into a game.

  • This study verified the memory occupancy, CPU processing speed, and average frame comparison of texture formats of ASTC and ETC in mobile Android OS. The virtual game scene was implemented as an experimental environment and built on the Android platform. Based on this, comparative verification data was extracted. ASTC has a 36% lower share of memory usage of 2D textures than ETC. CPU processing speed was 18% faster. The average frame confirmed 54 frames that was 58% higher. In the smart mobile game environment, ASTC confirmed the result of comparative advantage over ETC.

  • This paper studies a novel method to find the profit-maximizing Nash Equilibriums in allocating generation quantities with consideration of ramp-rates under competitive market environment. Each GenCo in a market participates in a game to maximize its profit through competitions and play a game with bidding strategies. In order to find the Nash equilibriums it is necessary to search the feasible combinations of GenCos' strategies which satisfy every participant's profit and no one wants various constraints. During the procedure to find Nash equilibriums, the payoff matrix can be simplified as eliminating the dominated strategies. in each time interval. Because of the ramp-rate, generator's physically or technically limits to increase or decrease outputs in its range, it can restrict the number of bidding strategies of each generator at the next stage. So in this paper, we found the Nash Equilibriums for multi-stage generation allocation game considering the ramp-rate limits of generators. In the case studies, we analyzed the generation allocation game for a 12-hour multi-stage and compared it with the results of dynamic economic dispatch. Both of the two cases were considered generator's ramp-rate effects.

  • Online games are the popular topic due to the increased total online game market volume nowadays. And many studies on online games are released. But most studies used the questionnaire method that reveals only section of the situation like a snapshot. For this reason, previous studies have a little limitation that does not show dynamical changing issues like a product life cycle and changes in customer's mind Because of this, we studied on online games with the system dynamic model which can show dynamic simulations to analysis time series data. We chose MMORPG (Massively Multi-play Online) RPG (Role Playing Game) in sort of online games because it has many absorbing factors and enthusiastic users. We designed the simulation model which analyzes the influences of update and CRM strategy on users. We put the game developer who is ready for updated version game and released that periodically and focused on dormant users who used to be enthusiastic about MMORPG. The simulation results showed that the update has positive influences on new users gathering and hold established users. And CRM strategies help to prevent dormant users from transferring to rivals by offering them re-absorbing factors. Through this study, we confirmed the importance of update on online games and the necessity of introducing CRM strategy in the online game market.
