An Attitude Determination GPS and INS Integration Scheme: Design and Flight Experiment (자세측정용 GPS/INS 통합시스템 구성 및 비행 시험)

  • This paper proposes an attitude determination GPS/INS integrated system scheme for a UAV and presents experimental flight test results. The proposed system is designed as a part of an autopilot system and comprises a GPS attitude determination receiver, an off-the-shelf inertial measurement unit (IMU), and a navigation computer unit (NCU). UAV requires accurate attitude information for stable automatic flight control. The proposed system can provide accurate attitude information for the flight control computer (FCC) so that stable automatic flight control can be achieved. In order to verify the performance of the proposed scheme, an integrated navigation system has been developed. In order to evaluate the developed navigation system, the flight test has been performed. In the flight test, the developed system was shown to provide the position, the velocity and the attitude satisfactorily enough for stable flight control. The accuracy of the attitude information of the developed system was confirmed by comparing attitude of vertical gyro.

  • Mobile communication technology was one of the GPS technology, SmartPhone, Tablet PC is equipped with a GPS. So the user has a navigation, speed and his position to send and receive a variety of information. Therefore, in this paper, Mobile devices, GPS, Wi-Fi and mobile networks, and the communication module uses algorithms to analysis of acceleration and output, the user is currently using the system to find out the kind of transportation. This is the users who are using a particular transport unnecessary information and apply it to different areas do not think I will be able to.

Precise Orbit Determination of LEO Satellite Using Dual-Frequency GPS Data (이중 주파수 GPS 데이터를 이용한 저궤도 위성의 정밀궤도결정)

  • KOorea Multi-purpose SATellite(KOMPSAT)-5 will be launched at 550km altitude in 2010. Accurate satellite position(20 cm) and velocity(0.03 cm/s) are required to treat highly precise Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) image processing. Ionosphere delay was eliminated using dual frequency GPS data and double differenced GPS measurement removed common clock errors of both GPS satellites and receiver. SAC-C carrier phase data with 0.1 Hz sampling rate was used to achieve precise orbit determination(POD) with ETRI GNSS Precise Orbit Determination(EGPOD) software, which was developed by ETRI. Dynamic model approach was used and satellite's position, velocity, and the coefficients of solar radiation pressure and drag were adjusted once per arc using Batch Least Square Estimator(BLSE) filter. Empirical accelerations for sinusoidal radial, along-track, and cross track terms were also estimated once per revolution for unmodeled dynamics. Additionally piece-wise constant acceleration for cross-track direction was estimated once per arc. The performance of POD was validated by comparing with JPL's Precise Orbit Ephemeris(POE).

Precision Improvement of GPS Height Time Series by Correcting for Atmospheric Pressure Loading Displacements (대기압하중에 의한 지각변위 보정을 통한 GPS 수직좌표 시계열 정밀도 향상)

  • Changes of atmospheric pressures cause short- and long-term crustal deformations and thus become error sources in the site positions estimated from space geodesy equipments. In this study, we computed daily displacements due to the atmospheric pressure loading (ATML) at the 14 permanent GPS sites operated by National Geographic Information Institute. And the 10-year GPS data collected at those stations were processed to create a continuous time series of the height estimate. Then, we corrected for the ATML from the GPS height time series to see if the correction changes the site velocity and improves the precision of the time series. While the precision improved by about 4% on average, the velocity change was not significant at all. We also investigated the overall characteristics of the ATML in the southern Korean peninsula by computing the ATML effects at the inland grid points with a $0.5^{\circ}{\times}0.5^{\circ}$ spatial resolution. We found that ATML displacements show annual signals and those signals can be fitted with sinusoidal functions. The amplitudes were in the range of 3-4 mm, and they were higher at higher latitudes and lower at the costal area.

  • Do subject addition of existent picture reflex inside in this treatise as system that confirmation is available, do subject addition of picture reflex inside through GPS's photography position and Come on! direction angle of deviation campus to do confirmation possibility system design. Constructed each environment of Windows Operating System and embedded system environment for verification of system that is subject position of designed picture reflex also. To development environment of embedded system S3C2440A & used PXA270 processor, Camera and GPS in development baud, Come on! include deviation campus, and development language embodied in C language, and debugging environment did debugging using GCC compiler of Linux environment. PC software for verification designed system to confirm for subject position confirmation of picture reflex through Almap, Google Eartch developed verification software using visual C++. Also, groped way to utilize picture file by various field including position information within picture. Confirmed that decreased by error extent 1m within of radius 10m that is existent GPS's error extent as verification result.

  • A vehicle fuel economy is very important issue in view of fuel cost and environmental regulation. The technology development for the fuel economy improvement improved the engine, power train and many components of vehicle. So, the fuel economy is much improved, but up to now the measurement of it tests the given mode(LA-4, FTP-75, etc) within computer simulation program and engine dynamo. In this paper, to deduct the method of its improvement of real road, the test vehicle ran 213Km Youngdong real highway using 3 different algorithms in computer simulation. For this, I extracted the distance and altitude data from received GPS data and calculated the grade angle, road load and accomplished the velocity profiles according to algorithms in all 213Km distance. The vehicle runs in computer with AVL Cruise simulation program using velocity profile. I calculate the fuel economy using AVL Cruise simulation result and propose the Eco-driving method of them.

  • A portable train approaching warning device can be used in order to reduce accidents of the workers on the rail, who are working without recognizing the approaching train, and to secure the safety of the workers. It can be installed in the train so that workers can recognize the approaching train. However, it is not easy to identify the location of the train precisely. In this study GPS and RF devices, which are used to calculate the location of the train were reviewed, to see how much error tolerance they have in the field, to analyze the distance for normal transmission between the receiver and transmitter, to verify the conformity of the portable train approaching warning device developed as a prototype model to the current rail system, and to provide the related fields with the analysis results to improve the existing or application technology. Additionally, test methods to locate the train were introduced and each test result was compared and analyzed.

  • 차량 내에서 보내는 시간이 많은 현대인들에게 도로 내 여러 가지 상황 정보를 제공해 줄 수 있는 텔레매틱스 서비스가 점점 각광을 받고 있다. 도로 내 설치되어 있는 차량 검지기와 GPS(Global Positioning System) 기술을 통해 고수준의 교통 정보가 수집되고 있지만, 이를 가공하여 도로상의 운전자들에게 전달하는 방법은 최근 들어 활발하게 연구 중에 있다. 텔레매틱스 서비스 중 가장 중요한 서비스는 운전자가 요청하는 교통 상황 정보를 신속하고 정확하게 전달해 주는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 가까운 과거의 패턴 자료를 이용하여 필터링 범위를 산정한 후, 정상적인 흐름에 반하는 이상 자료들을 실시간으로 제거하여 신뢰성 있는 링크대표속도 값을 제공하는 방법을 제시한다.

  • 일반적으로 위성에 장착된 GPS 수신기는 GPS 위성으로부터 항법 신호를 받아서 위성의 위치, 시간 및 속도 정보를 제공하는 것을 주요 목적으로 하고 있다. 이러한 정보를 근거로 위성의 현재 위치 정보 및 임무 수행을 위한 정보를 유도하게 된다. 2005년 발사예정인 다목적실용위성2호는 GPS수신기에서 나오는 IPPS 신호를 위성체 각 프로세서의 기준시간으로 사용되며 DPLL, FEP 회로 및 운영소프트웨어(FSW)에 의하여 동작된다. 본 논문에서는 다목적실용위성2호(KOMPSAT2, 이하 K2)의 시간동기구조[1,2]에 대한 구조 및 설계에 대한 뿐 아니라 정밀도 분석 및 시험결과등 전 과정에 대한 내용을 기술하였다.

  • 현재 연구가 활발히 진행중인 지능형 교통 시스템(ITS)에서는 운전자에게 정확한 주행정보를 제공하고 적절한 교통량 분산을 위해 현재의 교통상황을 정확히 판단하는 것이 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 인간의 추론과정을 모사한 퍼지추론 시스템(FIS)을 사용하여 보다 합리적으로 교통상황을 판단할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 교통상황을 특징짓는 세가지 요인으로 시간, 요일, 속도를 설정하였고 이를 퍼지변수로 표현하여 교통상황 판단을 위한 적절한 규칙에 적용하고 교통상황을 수치화 한다. 또한 본 논문에서는 속도자료로 실제 주행중인 차량의 GPS정보를 사용하여 개발된 알고리즘에 적용하였다.
