Precise Attitude Determination using Global Positioning Systems (위성 항법 시스템을 이용한 정밀 자세 결정)

  • This paper deals with the attitude determination using GPS carrier phase. The main factors on attitude reliability are accuracy, error factors and the real-time ambiguity resolution speed. Firstly, these factors are reviewed. And then, the attitude reliability is improved by applying the averaging method. Finally, the attitude determination software is verified by the experiments. The accuracy of the proposed attitude determination method is 0.013$^{\circ}$ PE in live test. This result is more accurate than the existing INS equipment.

  • Unmanned vehicle has a performance for finding the path and the way point by itself, so called orientation and direction. For the more precise navigation performance, Extended kalman filter, which is integrated with inertial navigation system and global positioning system is proposed in this paper. Extended kalman filter's performance is evaluated by the simulation and applied to the unmanned vehicle. The test result shows the effectiveness of Extended kalman filter for the navigation.

  • Autonomous unmanned vehicle is able to find the path and the way point by itself.   • The demand for human security significantly promotes the development of surveillance applications using a multi-sensor integrated UAV system. For more sophisticated operations, the system should provide a sequence of images rectified in a ground coordinate system in realtime. This rectification requires accurate position and attitude of the camera at the time of exposure of each image, which can be estimated through an Aerial Triangulation process using the GPS/INS data and tie points between adjacent images. In this work, the KLT tracker is utilized to obtain the tie points. To satisfy the realtime requirements, we present an approach to speed up the tracker by supplying the initial guessed positions of tie points based on the exterior orientation. The experimental results show that, when the guessed positions are supplied, the KLT tracker consumed less computational time than the ordinary KLT which is more suitable to be incorporated into the realtime image georeferencing process.

  • In this paper, we carried out calibration of laser scanning MMS(Mobile Mapping System) using Lynx Mobile Mapper, a new MMS developed at Optech Incorporated. Laser scanning MMS could be defined as an integration of several subsystems. Subsystems are composed of laser scanner, gps receiver and antenna, INS(Inertial Navigation System), DMI(Distance Measurement Instrument). These are obtained 3D spatial information by direct-georeferencing technology. To obtain 3D spatial information, calibration of laser scanning MMS is required prior to operation system, it is similar to airborme lidar system. 145 checkpoints were used to accuracy estimation. The accuracy results are about 5cm(RMSE) for calibration in all directions(east, north, ellipsoidal height).

  • Recently the development of digital based measurement sensor with which a variety of surveying equipment and methods are being developed. In the field of aerial mapping using GPS, INS and Digital Camera instead of Film based Camera. In case of aerial photogrammetry for mapping, it is effective on wide area. But it is ineffective on narrow area. Therefore, the research experimented that used LiDAR sensor based mobile mapping systems for modify and update about region of Suwon and Yeouido. From these results a possibility and an effectiveness analyzed and evaluated LiDAR sensor based mobile mapping systems.

지형참조항법시스템의 발전 동향

  • 본 고는 국내외의 지형참조항법시스템 관련 기술의 발전 동향을 살펴보고자 한다. 지형참조항법은 국외에서 1940년대부터 그 필요성이 대두된 학문으로 잠수정, 군용 전투기 등 다양한 분야에서 주로 군사목적으로 연구가 진행되었다. 1950년 ATRAN의 개발을 시작으로 1990년대 PTAN 지형참조항법기술까지 발전되어 무인기뿐만 아닌 Tomahawk 같은 유도무기에도 그 활용 범위를 넓혀가고 있다. 하지만 하드웨어적인 제약과 GPS의 발달로 관련 연구가 주춤하였으나 컴퓨터 기술의 발달, 지형측정센서의 정확도 향상과 더불어 GPS 교란 가능성 등이 부각되면서 최근 다시 관성항법시스템(INS)을 보조하는 대체 항법으로서 주목받고 있다. 주로 다중 측정치를 이용하는 방법과 비선형 필터를 이용하여 항법해 성능을 향상시키거나 병렬 다중필터를 이용하여 항법해의 신뢰성을 향상시키는 방향으로 연구가 진행 중이다. 그리고 다양한 지구물리데이터와 통합한 데이터베이스기반 복합항법 기술로 발전하고 있다.

  • In this paper, we analysis the performance of position estimation when adopting Dynamic TDMA(DTDMA) in JTIDS RelNav. JTIDS RelNav is widely understood as a new navigation solution possibly capable to support or take cover of the role of conventional systems including INS or GPS no matter if they are working well or not. By maximizing the efficiency of radio resource management in MAC(Medium Access Control) layer we enhance the system performance without any replacement of hardware.

  • A guidance kit transforming a general purpose bomb into an air-to-surface gliding bomb was developed. This guidance kit consists of a flight kit and a tail kit. Flight kit contains deployable wing, GPS/INS integrated navigation system, guidance and control system. Also this guidance kit was designed to use neither electrical nor mechanical interface with aircraft, and to increase dramatically the survivabilities of pilot and aircraft with the high accuracy and the mid-range non-powered gliding capability.

  • 관성항법 시스템은 항체의 위치, 속도 및 자세정보를 거의 연속적으로 제공할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 그러나 시간의 경과함에 따라 초기오차가 누적되어 발산하게 되는 단점이 있다. 이로 인하여 실제 적용시에는 매우 고가의 정밀한 자이로와 가속도계가 필요하다. 반면 DGPS는 오차의 누적이나 증가없이 장기간 동안 안정적으로 위치정보를 제공하지만 낮은 데이터 전송률과 도심지역과 칼은 곳에서는 신호의 차단이나 전파방해에 영향을 받는 단점이 있다. 이와 같이 상호보완적인 DGPS와 INS 정보를 통합하여 고 정밀의 속도, 위치 및 자세데이터를 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문은 저가의 IMU의 노이즈와 바이어스를 웨이브렛의 soft thresholding 기법을 이용하여 잡음을 제거하여 성능향상을 시도하였다. 통합알고리즘의 필터는 IS차로 구현하였으며 관측치는 DGPS의 위치정보를 이용하였다.
