전산유체해석을 이용한 엔진윤활시스템 설계 (Engine Lubrication System Design Using Computational Fluid Dynamic Analysis)

  • Engine lubrication system has very complex oil flow networks. Therefore it is difficult to evaluate and optimize the system only depending on experimental results. When we plan upgrading the engine performance the engine lubrication system must be considered in the plan. In this paper, engine lubrication system design using computational fluid dynamic analysis was studied. To do this, unsteady transient flow network analysis on the engine oil circuit system was carried out. Finally we discussed the design process in the modified engine lubrication system.

충돌시험시 가속도 센서의 접착방법이 감도 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Sensitivity Variation for Mounting Methods of Accelerometer in Crash Test)

  • There are many typesof accelerometer sensor. There was mainly used high-g accelerometer to obtain data for vehicle in crash test. Accelerometer was mounted on test vehicle with mounting blocks. Test result can be influenced by condition of mounting i.e. bonding material and type of block. These influences can be evaluated to variation of sensitivity in calibration test. In this paper, Calibration test were carried out for 3 types of bonding material i.e. stud, beewax and double side tape. Other factor was taken into consideration by 3-types for mounting block. All test was conducted by sinusoidal signal vibrator up to 4500Hz. In order to investigate influence for sensitivity from different input voltage in the calibrator, the same test was repeated. Test results were compared with standard accelerometer data. Relative sensitivities and phases were showed small difference in sensitivity for bonding materials with one block, but significant one for another block and different input voltage below 1000Hz.

대규모 GM 포장에서 내건성 GM 벼의 농업적 특성 비교 (Compare of Agriculture Character of Drought-Tolerant GM in Large GM Field)

  • 환경변화 중요성과 유전적 안전성은 최근에 증가추세의 형질전환 작물에 인식되고 있다. 본 실험은 건조저항성 형질전환체 작물의 유전적인 안전성과 환경변이에 따른 농업적인 특성을 분석하였다. 내건성 형질전환체인 CaMsrB2-8, 23과 모품종인 '일미' 및 일반품종을 대조구로 GM필드에서 작물학적 생육특성을 조사하였다. 농업적인 생육 특성에서 CaMsrB2-8, 23 계통은 모품종인 '일미'와 년차간, 지역별 평균으로 표현형은 유사하였다. 수량에서 년도별, 지역별 차이는 있지만 통계적인 유의성은 없었다. 현미의 미립특성에서 CaMsrB2-8, 23은 모품종인 '일미'와 차이를 보이지 않았다. 현미의 화학적 성분 분석에서 CaMsrB2-2 계통의 전분과 단백질함량은 모품종인 '일미'보다 일반품종인 '일품' 화학적 성분함량이 유사하였다. 본 실험결과에서 내건성 형질전환체인 CaMsrB2-8, 23는 GM 작물의 후대에서도 유전적인 안전성과 함께 수행될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

혹명나방저항성 GM 벼의 분자생물학적 특성 및 특이 마커를 이용한 검정 (Molecular biological characteristics and analysis using the specific markers of leaf folder-resistant GM rice)

  • In recent years, several genetically modified (GM) crops have been developed worldwide through the recombinant DNA technology and commercialized by various agricultural biotechnological companies. Commercialization of GM crops will be required the assesment of risks associated with the release of GM crops. In advance of the commercial release of GM crops, developer should submit the several information on GM crops for approval. In this study, we carried out to provide the molecular data for the risk assessment of GM rice containing insect-resistant gene, modified Cry1Ac (CryIAc1). Through the molecular analysis with CryIAc1 induced GM rice, we confirmed the steady integration and expression of transgene, the transgene copy number, the adjacent region sequences of inserted gene into rice genome, and the transgene stability in progenies. For the qualitative PCR detection methods, specific primer pairs were designed on the basis of integration sequences, and construct- and event-specific detection markers were developed for leaf folder-resistant rice, Cr7-1 line. From these results, we demonstrated that the molecular data and the PCR detection methods of leaf folderresistant GM rice could be acceptable to conduct the biosafety and environment risk assessment.

GMO 표시제 강화로 인한 물가 상승시 소비자의 지불 의향 (Consumers' Willingness to Pay for Price Increases by the Expansion of GMO Labeling)

  • This study analyzed consumers' willingness to pay for price increases to avoid the purchase of GM foods by the expansion of GMO labeling. The subjects were asked about their knowledge of GM, concerns of potential hazards, and sources of obtained GM information. The logit model was employed and marginal effects were calculated to interpret the results. The results showed that consumers who perceived the safety of GM technology were less likely to pay for price increases, while consumers who had concerns about GM foods were more likely to pay. In addition, the study demonstrated that consumers residing in urban areas and with low levels of education and income were also less likely to pay for price increases.

알칼리성 아밀라아제를 생산하는 Bacillus속 미생물의 분리와 그 조효소의 특성 (Isolation of Alkaline Amylase-Producing Bacillus sp. and Some Properties of Its Crude Enzyme)

  • 자연계로부터 알칼리성 아밀라아제 활성이 높은 Bacillus sp. GM8901 균주를 분리하여 균을 동정하였으며 그 조효소액을 이용하여 알칼리성 아밀라아제의 몇 가지 성질을 조사하였다. Bacillus sp. GM8901 균주의 특성을 조사해본 결과 B. licheniformis와 비슷한 것으로 나타났으며 $50^{\circ}C$에서 균의 성장과 효소생산이 최대였으며 알칼리성 아밀라아제는 inducible 효소였다. Bacillus sp. GM8901 은 pH 10.5 부근에서 가장 잘 자라는 호알칼리성 균주였으며 효소생산도 최대치를 나타내었다. 조효소액을 이용하여 실험한 결과 알칼리성 아밀라아제의 최적온도는 $50{\sim}60^{\circ}C$, 최적 pH는 $pH\;10{\sim}12$였으며 비교적 $50^{\circ}C$까지 열에 안정하였고 $pH\;3{\sim}12$까지 효소의 안정성이 유지되는 것으로 나타났다.

유전자재조합식품의 인지도 및 수용도에 대한 연차별 비교 (A Three-year Survey on Korean Consumer's Awareness, Perception and Attitudes toward Genetically-modified Foods; Years 2000-2002)

  • 유전자재조합식품의 안전성과 표시에 관한 일반국민의 의식을 2000년부터 2002년까지 3년 동안 각각 750명, 979명과 1417명을 대상으로 설문조사 하였다. 평균 65.4%의 응답자가 유전자재조합식품에 관한 정보를 접한 경험이 있었다. 유전자재조합식품에는 90% 이상의 응답자가 표시하기를 바랐으며 구입하여 먹겠다는 사람은 18.5% 이었고 기다려보겠다는 관망형이 46.8%를 넘어서 표시를 희망하면서도 결정을 유보하는 사람의 비율이 많았다. 한편, 유전자재조합기술에 의해 생산되는 제초제 내성 콩에 대한 적절한 설명으로는 제초제에 견디는 유전자가 있지만 인체에 무해하다라고 답한 비율이 약 37.3%로 약 1/3정도 만이 내용을 제대로 이해하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 유전자재조합기술로 개발된 제초제 내성 콩을 먹겠다는 사람보다 같은 방법으로 개발된 비타민 함량이 높은 콩을 먹겠다는 사람이 상대적으로 많은 것으로 보아 제품의 특성을 중시하지 유전자재조합 여부에는 큰 관심을 두지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 우리가 먹는 생물 유래의 식품에 유전자가 있다는 사실을 바르게 알고있는 응답자는 전체의 39% 정도였다. 유전자재조합식품이 위험할 것이라고 생각하는 사람은 지극히 적어서 응답자의 4%정도를 유지하였다.

  • In order to investigate the availability of tire airborne noise for vehicle road noise development, We measured the noise in condition of smooth road and coarse road. The correlation coefficient was analyzed using the articulation index of the tire airborne noise and the vehicle road noise. It has been found that the correlation between the tire airborne noise and the vehicle road noise is positively strong.

  • This paper describes a procedure to improve road noise using DPDS estimation. We can estimate a body local stiffness at chassis mounting point where the path of road input vibration by DPDS with experiment and FE simulation. DPDS result from FE model has a good correlation with experiment data. FE model DPDS shows weak points among chassis mounting points. Body panel thickness and shape were changed to meet DPDS target. Improved DPDS of critical points makes a road noise level lower.

  • Finding reasonable flexural modes from the full vehicle modal testing has always been a difficult job to N&V engineers due to FRF inconsistency, nonlinearity, heavy damping and, in many cases, interactions between global body structural modes and massive isolate/non-isolated subsystem modes. This paper provides a brier overview of the mode map validation using single-run FRF measurement with highly sensitive accelerometers fur the full vehicle modal analysis and then it can be used to characterize the vehicle's global/local vibration performances, especially customer perceived "structural feel" typically below 40Hz.
