This paper introduces new ordering algorithms using the graph of data structure and forward/backward substitution of LU decomposition using recursive function. The performance of the algorithm is compared with Tinney's algorithm using 14 bus systems. Test results show that the new fill-in element of Jacobian matrix using the proposed ordering algorithm is same as that of Tinner scheme 3 and the forward/backward substitution can reduce the computation time

This paper presents that the Wavelet Transform can be used to detect the various local defects in a gearbox. Two types of defects which are broken tooth and localized wear, are experimented and the signals are collected by accerometer and acoustic sensors and analyized. Because of the complecity of the signals acquired form sensors, it is needed to identify the interesting signal. (omitted)

This paper proposed a methods to ATC calculation using energy function. In this paper, ATC was calculated as PTDF, LODF, RPF and Energy Function method and calculation results of each methods was compared. Contingency ranking method decided the overloading branches by PI-index. As a result, a study proved the fast and accurate ATC calculation method considering contingency suggested in this paper.

Since the natural gas air-conditioning not only increases the base load of the gas company but also decreases the summer peak load of the electricity company, it is considerded as an efficient demand-side management program. This paper suggests the economic evaluation method of the gas air-conditioning program from the perspectives of the participants, the pipeline gas company, the local distribution company, the electricity company, and the total resources. The absorption type gas air-conditioning/space-heating is selected as a case study to illustrate the economic analysis of the natural gas air-conditioning.
