표준기어를 이용한 기어 프로파일 정밀측정 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on Algorithm for Gear Profile Measurement Using a Standard Gear)

  • 자동차 변속기 내부에서 동력을 전달하는 헬리컬 기어의 소음 및 진동을 억제하기 위한 하나의 방법으로 정밀하게 가공된 기어를 검사하기 위한 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 측정 기준이 되는 표준 기어와 측정 대상 기어인 워크 기어를 정밀하게 측정하는 알고리즘에 관한 것이다. 기존의 방법은 표준 기어와 모니터 기어를 1회전하여 주파수 방법으로 측정 표준을 위한 마스터링 작업을 수행하였다. 본 연구에서는 제시된 알고리즘을 사용하여 표준 기어와 모니터 기어를 측정하고, 표준 기어와 모니터 기어의 오차를 계산하는 방법을 제시함으로써 기어 측정에 대한 정밀도를 높이도록 하였다. 또한 본 알고리즘을 사용하면 빠른 속도로 측정의 표준이 되는 마스터링 공정을 빠르고 정확하게 측정할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

  • To reduce the vibration of a gear driving system, the modification of gear tooth from the orignal involute gear profile is usually done in gear manufacturers. The quantity of the tooth modification has been decided on the basis of the intereference between two gear teeth during gear meshing and the elastic deformation due to loading. (omitted)

박육직교축 치차의 설계에 관한 기초적 연구 (Study on the Design of Thin Intersected Axe Gear)

  • The various configuration of thin-shaped bevel gears are used usually for such as main reduction gear of the hovercraft. But the reasonable and concise guide to thedesign of the se bevel gears is not yet obtained, since the tooth of bevel gear has complex form. The purpose of these investigation is to be establish the design guide and to propose the desirable configuration form for thin-shaped straight bevel gear. In this report, the desirable configuration is examined experimentally by clearing up the effect of web and rim thickness, rim support condition upon the load distribution and root stress distribution along the tooth trace. The results are summarized as follows. (1) The crowning of tooth trace exerts a significant effect on the root stress distribution of thin-shaped bevel gear. (2) As the desirable configuration of the thin-shaped bevel gear, it is to be recommended that the rim is supported at the heel side of tooth trace. (3) But, as special type, it is desirable that the rim is supported at the toe side.

  • In this study, we develop automatic design program, which create 3D model of spur gear and helical gear used VisuaILISP and create helical gear in the CATIA using 2D profile of gear. This model become the standard model, which give not only in itself mold information but also computer processed product with measuring date. Spur gear require mathematical examination of involute curve and trocoidal fillet curve. Automatic design program, which have a mathematical development create the profile of spur gear.

  • This paper reviews the existing methods to divide the gear ratios of a multi-stage gear train, and proposes a simulated annealing-based algorithm to find the best gear ratios. The existing methods have their own limitations to be used in practical design, and are also problematic to be automated in a design system. However, the proposed algorithm is a general one which can be applied to gear trains having any number of stages, and offers a satisfactory result in a very short time. It is expected to be useful as a design sub-module of the design system for multi-stage gear drives.

  • This paper is the study on stress analysis of spur gear using a finite element method. Gear drives constitute very important mechanisms in transmitting mechanical power processes compromising several cost effective and engineering advantages. The load transmission occurred by the contacting surfaces arises variable elastic deformations which are being evaluated through finite element analysis. The automatic gear design program is developed to model gear shape precisely. This gear design system developed was used by pre-processor of FEM packages. The distribution of stresses at contacting surfaces was examined when a pair of gear contact.

  • Gear trains are used in many machinery for variable speed ratios. Typical shapes of gear trains are two categories: simple gear trains and planetary gear trains. Generally the methods of the design typical shapes are two way. One of the methods is trailblazing design and the other is selective design in available types. This paper presents the mechanism types when input rotating velocity and output rotating velocity are maintained for useful planetary gear reducers of twelve types. Also, this paper gives the applicable example about rotating velocity of the gear axis, carrier velocity and the organized gear specifications

  • The stable driving condition of high speed gear is approached by shape modifications of a gear tooth. Recently, many gear designers are using FEM for the design and the manufacture of a high precision gear. In this paper, it is aimed to drive in stable sound level through the modification of the tooth and the shape of a gear. The simulation is used to understand the effect of holes for the decrement of weight and the stress variation for the tooth modification. Beam elements used to simulate the same condition as a real gear drive by FEM. The driven gear is simulated to 60,000rpm for the tooth modification.

  • Currently, plastic gear is widely used as parts of office equipment and industrial machines, because plastic substance has an advantage of light weight and possible to operate in oil-fewer conditions. However, under cyclic loadings, their occurred repetitive deformation due to weak tensile strength and bending stress rather than metal gear. Furthermore, they have a problem of attrition and breakage owing to frictional heat. For solving these problems, when plastic gear's opponents are metal gear, we should design that plastic gear's tooth be thick and metal gear's tooth be thin. In this research, we developed the program which developing tooth profile of non-standard gears automatically and calculating over-pin diameter for inspection after making gear.
