  • Some useful flow regime data are obtained from the experiments using the flight producing hyper-gravity(2g) conditions and on ground(1g) with the identical flow conditions. The flow regime data obtained at 1g and 2g conditions are compared with new dimensionless flow regime map using Fr, Bo and We number related with gravity, surface tension and inertia force.

로드셀을 이용한 밀링 가공시의 절삭력 측정시스템 (Cutting Force Measuring System Using the Load Cell for a Milling Process)

  • This paper suggests another system for a cutting force measuring tool in a milling process. Generally, tool dynamometer is taken into account for the most appropriate cutting force measuring tool in the analysis of cutting mechanism. However, high price and limited space make it difficult to be in-situ system for controllable milling process. Although an alternative method using AC current of servo-motor has been suggested, it is unsuitable for cutting force control because of small upper frequency limit and noise. The cutting force measuring system is composed of two load cells placed between the moving table bracket and the nut flange part of ballscrew. It has many advantages such as low cost and wide range measurement than tool dynamometer because of the built-in moving table and the low cost load cell. The static and dynamic model of the measuring system using imbeded load cell is introduced. Various Experiments are carried out to validate both models. By comparing the cutting forces from a series of end milling experiments on the tool dynamometer and the system developed in this paper, the accuracy of the cutting force measuring system is verified. Upper frequency limit is measured by the experiment of dynamic characteristics.

뇌졸중 환자의 손 고정장치 제어를 위한 다축 힘/모멘트센서 개발 (Development of Multi-Axis Force/Moment Sensor for Stroke Patient's Hand Fixing System Control)

  • Stroke patients should exercise for the rehabilitation of their fingers, because they can't use their hand and fingers. Their hand and fingers are fixed on the hand fixing system for rehabilitation exercise of them. But the hands clenched the fist of stroke patients are difficult to fix on it. In order to fix the hands and fingers, their palms are pressed with pressing bars and are controlled by reference force. The fixing system must have a five-axis force/moment sensor to force control. In this paper, the five-axis force/moment sensor was developed for the hand fixing system of finger-rehabilitation exercising system. The structure of the five-axis force/moment sensor was modeled, and designed using finite element method(FEM). And it was fabricated with strain-gages, then, its characteristic test was carried out. As a result, the maximum interference error is less than 2.43 %.

An Amber Force Field for S-Nitrosoethanethiol That Is Transferable to S-Nitrosocysteine

  • Protein S-nitrosation is common in cells under nitrosative stress. In order to model proteins with S-nitrosocysteine (CysSNO) residues, we first developed an Amber force field for S-nitrosoethanethiol (EtSNO) and then transferred it to CysSNO. Partial atomic charges for EtSNO and CysSNO were obtained by a restrained electrostatic potential approach to be compatible with the Amber-99 force field. The force field parameters for bonds and angles in EtSNO were obtained from a generalized Amber force field (GAFF) by running the Antechamber module of the Amber software package. The GAFF parameters for the CC-SN and CS-NO dihedrals were not accurate and thus determined anew. The CC-SN and CS-NO torsional energy profiles of EtSNO were calculated quantum mechanically at the level of B3LYP/cc-pVTZ//HF/6-$31G^*$. Torsional force constants were obtained by fitting the theoretical torsional energies with those obtained from molecular mechanics energy minimization. These parameters for EtSNO reproduced, to a reasonable accuracy, the corresponding torsional energy profiles of the capped tripeptide ACE-CysSNO-NME as well as their structures obtained from quantum mechanical geometry optimization. A molecular dynamics simulation of myoglobin with a CysSNO residue produced a well-behaved trajectory demonstrating that the parameters may be used in modeling other S-nitrosated proteins.

초전도 벌크의 자기적 특성을 위한 간편한 시스템 (Magnetic Force Properties of Superconducting Bulk)

  • To improve superconductor properties, the size of the crystal grains of the superconductor should be adjusted, the amount of electricity flowing through the superconductor should be increased, and the superconductor should be designed to withstand external magnetic fields. It is necessary to control the microstructure so that many flux pinning centers are developed inside the superconductor so that defects are generated physically or chemically, and the micro secondary phase for trapped magnetic flux must be dispersed inside the superconductor. In order to measure the superconducting magnetic force of the superconducting bulk in a simplified manner, the superconducting magnetic force was analyzed using an Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet of 3.80 kG. In particular, by delaying the growth of partially melted Y2BaCuO5 particles, we devised a plan to refine Y2BaCuO5 particles to effectively improve superconducting magnetic force, and analyzed superconducting magnetic force in a single crystal YBa2Cu3O7-y superconducting bulk using a gauss meter. The melted superconducting bulk traps 80% or more of the applied magnetic field, and can be used as a bulk magnet of high magnetic field magnetization applicable to electric power equipment.

성견의 실험적 치아이동시 치주조직내 대식세포와 T-림파구의 활성에 관한 면역조직화학적 연구 (AN IMMUNOHISTOLOGIC STUDY ON THE ACTIVITY OF MACROPHAGE AND T-CELL IN THE PERIODONTIUM DURING TOOTH MOVEMENT OF DOG)

  • 교정력에 의한 성견의 치아이동시 발생하는 조직변화 중 염증과 면역반응에 중요한 역할을 하는 대식세포와 T-림파구의 치주조직내 활성도를 교정력의 크기와 기간에 따라 알아보고자 하였다. 생후 1년 6개월된 성견 6마리 중 5마리의 실험군과 1마리의 대조군이 연구되었는데 실험군에서 하악 좌측에는 강한 힘(250-300g)을, 하악 우측에는 약한 힘(50-75g)을 제1소구치와 제2소구치 사이에 open-coil spring으로 적용하였으며, 실험군의 성견을 각각 12시간, 24시간, 3일, 1주, 2주에 희생시켜 얻은 조직에 $\alpha$-1-antichymotiypsin과 CD3를 이용한 면역조직화학적 염색을 시행하였다. 결과적으로 염증세포침윤은 약한 힘을 준 경우보다 강한 힘을 준 경우에서 3일째까지 더 많이 나타나다가 7일이후에는 차이가 없어졌고 견인측보다는 압박측에서 많이 나타났으며, 압박측의 파골세포 활성은 12시간째에서부터 관찰되어 증가하다가 7일째부터 감소되었는데 약한 힘을 준 경우에서보다 강한 힘을 준 경우에서 더 많이 나타났다. 견인측 치주인대의 단절과 혈관확장은 12시간째 관찰되어 증가하다가 3일째 이후에는 감소되었는데 약한 힘을 준 경우보다는 강한 힘을 준 경우에서 더 많았으나 14일째에는 차이가 없었다. 대조군의 $\alpha$-1-antichymotiypsin발현은 열구상피에서 주로 발현되었고 치주인대, 치수, 골세포에서는 음성반응을 보였으며, 실험군의 $\alpha$-1-antichymotiypsin발현은 견인측보다 압박측에서 많았으며, 3일째까지는 치경부쪽이 약간 많았고, 7일째 이후에는 주로 치경부보다는 치근단쪽에서 더 많이 발현되었다. 약한 힘을 준 경우는 $\alpha$-1-antichymotiypsin 염색이 12시간째부터 나타나서 7일째에 가장 많이 나타나다가 이후 감소되었고, 강한 힘을 준 경우에서는 3일째에서 최고에 달하다가 이후에는 감소되었다. 약한 힘을 준 경우나 강한 힘을 준 경우 모두에서 CD3에 대한 발색은 전치주조직을 통해 거의 음성으로 나타났다.

온라인 방식의 공구경로 계획을 내장한 지능형 NURBS 곡면 보간 시스템 (Intelligent NURBS Surface Interpolation System with Embedded Online Tool-Path Planning)

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the machining of free-formed NURBS surfaces using newly defined G-codes which can directly deal with shapes defined from CAD/CAM programs on a surface basis and specialize in rough and finish cut. To this purpose, a NURBS surface interpolation system is proposed in this paper. The proposed interpolation system includes online tool-path planning, real-time interpolation and feedrate regulation considering an effective machining method and minimum machining time all suitable for unit NURBS surface machining. The corresponding algorithms are simultaneously executed in an online manner. The proposed NURBS surface interpolation system is integrated and implemented with a PC-based 3-axis CNC milling system. A graphic user interface (GUI) and a 3D tool-path viewer which interprets the G-codes for NURBS surfaces and displays whole tool-paths are also developed and included in our real-time control system. The proposed system is evaluated through actual machining in terms of size of NC data, machining time, regulation of feedrate and cutting force focused on finish cut in comparison with the existing method.
