  • This disseration realized the simple digital controller board using ${\mu}$-PD 70320 microprocessor has characteristics that are low cost, simple hardware organization, convenient and interchangeable with the 8086 for the servo system. We gave the control algorithm such as PD control. Self tuning adaptive control and Fuzzy control to the realized controller board and made a new real number data type for a high accuracy control. Users can select of suitable for the control algorithim. In the result of simulation and experiment shown a good performance.

  • 본 논문은 볼빔시스템 제어에 대해 입자군집최적화(Particle Swarm Optimization; PSO)을 이용한 최적 퍼지제어기 설계방법을 연구한다. 볼빔 시스템은 모터와 빔, 움직이는 볼로 구성되며 볼의 위치제어를 기본 동작으로 한다. 본 논문에서는 제어성능이 우수한 퍼지제어기를 사용하여 제어시스템을 설계하는데, 퍼지제어구조는 1차 제어기와 2차 제어기로 구성되고, 최적 퍼지제어기 설계를 위해 PSO를 사용하며 PSO는 초기값에 영향이 적고 일반적인 탐색알고리즘과 달리 초기 수렴의 문제를 극복한다. 본 논문에서는 퍼지제어기와 기존의 PD 제어기의 성능비교를 시도 하였다.

  • In most cases, a crane is controlled by an open-loop technique. That is, the controller tries to follow a given velocity profile that is designed to minimize the swing of rope and the transfer time. But such a system is not capable of handling various disturbances such as changing rope length and wind effect. In order to overcome this kind of difficulty, this research focuses on the design of a feedback controller using intelligent techniques such as fuzzy logic and neural network. These intelligent techniques has been emplyoyed in order to represent human knowledge and to imitate human learning. The deveped controllers have been evaluated via computer simulation

  • This paper describes the design of SVC fuzzy logic controller (SVC-FLC) using adaptive evolutionary algorithm and we tuned the gain of input-output variables of SYC-FLC using it. We performed the nonlinear simulation on an single-machine infinite system to prove the efficiency of the proposed method. The proposed SYC-FLC showed the better performance than PD controller in terms of the settling time and damping effect, for system operation condition used in evaluating the robustness and three phase grounding default in cases of nominal loading used in tuning SVC-FLC for a single-machine infinite system.

  • In this paper, we have studied for analysis of the partial discharge(PD) signal based on fuzzy algorism. Partial discharge signal detector is difficult because of partial discharge signal is very non-linear. Also, it is very difficult work that separate partial discharge signal from noise. We constructed partial discharge accumulation detection system that use Labview for detection of non-linear partial discharge signal. And analyzed Partial discharge signal that is detected by Labview system utilizing Fuzzy model.

  • This paper deals with a single flexible link robot system using two fuzzy logic controllers(FLC). The one is used for controlling the rigid position of the beam while it is rotated from one position to another. The other is adopted to reduce the oscillation caused by the rigid body motion. Many simulations are carried out to investigate characteristics of the controlled system. There are good results compared with other systems using PD controller. And also the system could be exactly controlled by the proper setting conditions for FLC.

  • PD 제어기는 산업현장에 가장 널리 운영되는 제어알고리즘이지만 지금까지 보편적으로 사용되고 있는 PID 파라메터 동조방법인 Ziegler-Nichols 동조법으로는 화학공정 같은 비선형 특성이 크거나, 시정수가 큰 플래트에서는 좋은 성능을 얻을 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 릴레이 동조 실험을 통하여 임계 이득과 발진주기를 구하고, 이 값들로부터 Z-N 동조법을 적용하여 초기 동조값을 구한다. 이 값에 의해서 얻어진 공정 출력의 오차와 오차변화율을 입력으로 한 퍼지 동조기를 통하여 PID 제어기의 비례이득과 적분시간을 구하는 동조 방법을 제시한다.

  • In this paper, the feasibility of the attitude control of a spacecraft using pulsed plasma thrusters(PPTs) is studied. The PPT consumes less propellant mass requied for the orbit management or attitude control owing to its high specific impulse characteristics, compared with traditional gas propulsion system. The PPT is expected to be highly adequete for the missions requiring long-duration operations because it has relatively long operation time and easy implementation. The feasibility of the PPT for attitude control of a small satellite system is addressed through realistic missions. The classical PD controller and a fuzzy logic controller are tested, and fuel saving fuzzy logic controller is then proposed for more flexible mission performance.

  • The main objective of this paper is to control the speed of Nonlinear Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) by controlling the throttle position. Various control techniques such as well known Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller in conjunction with state feedback controller (SFC) such as Pole Placement Technique (PPT), Observer Based Controller (OBC) and Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) Controller are designed. Some Intelligent control techniques e.g. fuzzy logic PD, Fuzzy logic PI along with Adaptive Controller such as Self Organizing Controller (SOC) is also designed. The design objective in this research paper is to provide smooth throttle movement, zero steady-state speed error, and to maintain a Selected Vehicle (SV) speed. A comparative study is carried out in order to identify the superiority of optimal control technique so as to get improved fuel economy, reduced pollution, improved driving safety and reduced manufacturing costs.

  • In this paper, adaptive evolutionary algorithm(AEA) is proposed, which uses both genetic algorithm(GA) with good global search capability and evolution strategy(ES) with good local search capability in an adaptive manner, when population evolves to the next generation. In the reproduction procedure, proportion of the population for GA and ES is adaptively determined according to their fitness. The AEA is used to design membership functions and scaling factors of the fuzzy logic controller(FLC). To evaluate the performance of the proposed FLC design method, we make an experiment on the FLC for the speed control of an actual DC series motor system with nonlinear characteristics. Experimental results show that the proposed controller has better performance than PD controller.
