  • This paper deals with speed control of Sensorless DC servo motor using a FTHGO(FuzEy-Tuning High Gain observer). In this paper, we improved the problem from row speed section, the problem of sensor for detecting speed of motor, using FTHGO(Fuzzy-Tuning High-Gain Observer) with fuzzy control technique which is a class of adaptive control technique. In order to verify the performance of the FTHGO(Fuzzy-Tuning High Gain Observer) which is proposed in this paper, it is proved from the experiment to compare the case with a speed sensor to the case with FTHGO(Fuzzy-Tuning High Gain observer) in the speed control of DC servo motor.

  • This paper deals with speed control of DC servo motor using a Fuzzy tuning observer. Speed sensor detect a speed of rotor continuously. But it have a limit as a driving speed to detect speed precisely. So it is problem to improve the performance of the driving system. To solve the problem, it is studied to detect a speed of DC motor without sensor. In particular, study on the method to estimate the speed using the observer is performed a lot. In this parer, the gain of the observer is properly set up using the fuzzy observer. The fuzzy observer has a superior transient characteristic and is easy to implement compared the existing method is designed. It estimate the derivative of the armature current directly using the armature current measured in the DC motor. It estimate the speed of the rotor using the differentiation. It is proposed speed sensorless control method using the estimated speed. Optimal gain of Luenberger observer is set up using the fuzzy observer and adapted speed control of DC servo motor low speed operation. It is proved excellence and feasibility of the presented observer from the comparison tested a case with a speed sensor and a case without a speed sensor which used a highly efficient drive and 200W DC servo motor starting system.

  • This paper deals with speed-sensorless control of an AC servo motor using Fuzzy-Tuning High Gain Observer(FTHGO). Resolver or encoder can be used to measure a rotor speed, but it has a limit to detect motor speed precisely. To solve this problem, it is studied to measure a speed of an AC servo motor without sensor. In this paper, the gain of an observer to estimate motor speed is properly set up and designed using the fuzzy control theory. It calculates the differentiation of the rotor current of the AC motor and estimates the rotor speed using it. Proposed speed sensorless control is performed using the estimated speed as the control variable. Designed FTHGO is applied to AC servo motor to verify the feasibility of the proposed observer. Feasibility of the FTHGO proposed in this paper is proven comparing the experimental results with/without the speed sensor.

  • This paper presents a speed control for ultrasonic motors using a PI controller and disturbance torque observer. Since the PI gains and the observer's poles are generally fixed, the control performance deteriorates when the driving conditions vary much. Therefore, we propose the speed control scheme that the PI gains and the observer's poles are adjusted on-line in accordance with the speed ripple using fuzzy reasoning.

  • In torque transmission system, we must suppressed vibration for Accuracy characteristic response of motor, Therefore, vibration suppression factor is very important motor control. To suppress vibration, a various control method has been proposed. Specially, one method of vibration suppression used disturbance observer filter. This method is torsion torque passing disturbance observer filter. By the estimated torsion torque feedback, vibration can be suppressed. The CDM(coefficient diagram method) is used to design the filter and Proportional controller. But using coefficient diagram method, not adapted controller parameter in disturbance. For this solution, we used fuzzy controller for auto tuning controller parameter. We proved this approach is confirmed by simulation.

  • This paper proposed an ECAM (Electronic cam) control system which has simple and general structure. The proposed cam controller adopted the linear and polynomial curve-fitting method to generates a smooth cam profile curve function. Smooth motion trajectory of master actuator guarantees the good performance of slave motion and has an important effect on the interpolation quality of ECAM. The auto-tuning PID velocity controller was applied to overcome the uncertainties in ECAM, and the gains of the controller are updated continuously to ensure the consistency of system performance under varying working conditions. The robustness of system against the varying load torque disturbances and noises is guaranteed by using the load torque disturbance observer to suppress the disturbance on master actuator. The velocity compensator was applied to compensate the degradation of performance of slave motion caused from the varying driving speed of master motion. The stability and validity of the proposed ECAM control system was verified by simulation results.

  • This paper investigates a robust neuro-fuzzy control (NFC) method which can accurately follow the speed reference of an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) in the existence of nonlinearities and system uncertainties. A neuro-fuzzy control term is proposed to estimate these nonlinear and uncertain factors, therefore, this difficulty is completely solved. To make the global stability analysis simple and systematic, the time derivative of the quadratic Lyapunov function is selected as the cost function to be minimized. Moreover, the design procedure of the online self-tuning algorithm is comparatively simplified to reduce a computational burden of the NFC. Next, a rotor angular acceleration is obtained through the disturbance observer. The proposed observer-based NFC strategy can achieve better control performance (i.e., less steady-state error, less sensitivity) than the feedback linearization control method even when there exist some uncertainties in the electrical and mechanical parameters. Finally, the validity of the proposed neuro-fuzzy speed controller is confirmed through simulation and experimental studies on a prototype IPMSM drive system with a TMS320F28335 DSP.

  • Over the last few years, the control of bipedal robot has been considered a promising but difficult research field in the community of robotics. In this paper, a new robust output control method for a bipedal robot is proposed using the adaptive fuzzy logic. The adaptive fuzzy logic is used as an system approximator to cancel the unknown uncertainty. First, a model for a bipedal robot including switching leg influence, uncertainty and disturbance is presented. Second, a controller is designed in which the joint velocity measurement is not required. Fuzzy approximation error estimator is inserted in the system for tuning the fuzzy logic. Finally, the result of the computer simulation is presented to show the validity of the suggested control method.
