  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of fuzzy m-sets induced by a given fuzzy supratopology and investigate general properties of the new class consisted of fuzzy m-sets. We also introduce notions of fuzzy m-continuity, fuzzy m-open(closed) maps and study some properties of them.

  • In recent years, there have been a number of applications of fuzzy logic in fuzzy reasoning system. The main objective of these applications is to approximate a decision making using the fuzzy reasoning system. This paper designs a fuzzy reasoning model for the decision making of registration fee at a private school, implements it applying for linguistic variables and fuzzy rules, and evaluates the practical availability of the model. The system accepts fuzzy rules, the type of membership functions, the domain of fuzzy sets and hedge, and fuzzifies the linguistic variables to generates fuzzy sets. The fuzzy sets generated are combined to constructs a solution fuzzy set. Finally, the system defuzzifies the solution fuzzy set to calculate a scalar value which is used for decision making.

  • We introduce two concepts of intuitionistic fuzzy Rees congruence on a semigroup and intuitionistic fuzzy Rees con-gruence semigroup. As an important result, we prove that for a intuitionistic fuzzy Rees congruence semigroup S, the set of all intuitionistic fuzzy ideals of S and the set of all intuitionistic fuzzy congruences on S are lattice isomorphic. Moreover, we show that a homomorphic image of an intuitionistic fuzzy Rees congruence semigroup is an intuitionistic fuzzy Rees congruence semigroup.

  • The main objective of the study is to introduce ideals of Sheffer stroke Hilbert algebras by means of fuzzy points, and investigate some properties. The process of making (fuzzy) ideals and fuzzy deductive systems through the fuzzy points of Sheffer stroke Hilbert algebras is illustrated, and the (fuzzy) ideals and the fuzzy deductive systems are characterized. Certain sets are defined by virtue of a fuzzy set, and the conditions under which these sets can be ideals are revealed. The union and intersection of two fuzzy ideals are analyzed, and the relationships between aforementioned structures of Sheffer stroke Hilbert algebras are built.

  • Study about fuzzy entropy and similarity measure on intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) were proposed, and analyzed. Unlike fuzzy set, IFSs contains uncertainty named hesistancy, which is contained in fuzzy membership function itself. Hence, designing fuzzy entropy is not easy because of ununified entropy definition. By considering different fuzzy entropy definitions, fuzzy entropy is designed and discussed their relation. Similarity measure was also presented and verified its usefulness to evaluate degree of similarity.

  • This paper is to design stable fuzzy controller so as to control chaotic nonlinear systems effectively via fuzzy control system and Parallel Distributed Compensation (PDC) design. To design fuzzy control system, nonlinear systems are represented by Takagi-sugeno(TS) fuzzy models. The PDC is employed to design fuzzy controllers from the TS fuzzy models. The stability analysis and control design problems is to find a common Lyapunov function for a set of linear matrix inequalitys(LMIs). The designed fuzzy controller is applied to Rossler system. The simulation results show the effectiveness of our controller.

  • Fuzzy information retrieval which uses the concept of fuzzy relation is able to retrieve documents in the way based on not morphology but semantics, dissimilar to traditional information retrieval theories. Fuzzy information retrieval logically consists of three sets : the set of documents, the set of terms and the set of queries. It maintains a fuzzy relational matrix which describes the relationship between documents and terms and creates a thesaurus with fuzzy relational product. It also provides the user with documents which are relevant to his query. However, there are some problems on building a thesaurus with fuzzy relational product such that it has big time complexity and it uses fuzzy values to be processed with flating-point. Actually, fuzzy values have to be expressed and processed with floating-point. However, floating-point operations have complex logics and make the system be slow. If it is possible to exchange fuzzy values with binary values, we could expect sp eding up building the thesaurus. In addition, binary value expressions require just a bit of memory space, but floating -point expression needs couple of bytes. In this study, we suggest a new method of building a thesaurus, which accelerates the operation of the system by pre-applying an ${\alpha}$-cut. The experiments show the improvement of performance and reliability of the system.

  • This paper proposes a fuzzy comparison method called the fuzzy satisfaction function. It compares two fuzzy numbers and produces a fuzzy set on [O, 11 as the comparison result. It represents the possibility that a fuzzy number is greater(smal1er) than the other with a fuzzy set on [0, I]. It is extended from the satisfaction function which compares two fuzzy numbers and generates a value in [0, 11 as the result. This paper summarizes the satisfaction function and proposes the fuzzy satisfaction function. Some numerical examples are also presented in this paper.
