안정한 적응 이중 제어시스템의 설계 (A Design of Stable Adaptive Composite Control Systems)

  • In this paper, a stable adaptive composite control system consisting of a PID and a fuzzy controllers is designed to control nonlinear systems. In the fuzzy controller, parameters of membership functions characterizing the linguistic terms change according to some adaptive law. Also, parameters of PID controller change according to some adaptive law. These adaptive laws are based on the Lyapunov synthesis approach. Then, it is proved that the closed-loop system using such an adaptive composite control system is globally stable in the sense that all signals involved are bounded and the tracking error converges to zero. We apply this adaptive composite control system to control a nonlinear system.

  • This paper introduces a hybrid induction motor control using a genetically optimized pseudo-on-line method. Optimization results from the use of a look-up table based on genetic algorithms to find the global optimum of a un-constraint optimization problem. The approach to induction motor control includes a pseudo-on-line procedure that optimally estimates parameters of a fuzzy PID (FPID) controller. The proposed hybrid genetic fuzzy PID (GFPID) controller is applied to speed control of a 3-phase induction motor and its computer simulation is carried out. Simulation results show that the proposed controller is performs better than conventional FPID and PID controllers. The contribution of this paper is the introduction of a high performance hybrid form of induction motor control that makes on-line and real-time control of the drive system possible.

  • The BLDC motor is used widely in industry due to its controllability and freedom from maintenance because there is no mechanical brush in the BLDC motor. Furthermore, it is suitable for high-speed applications, such as compressors and air blowers. For instance, for a compressor with a small impeller due to miniaturizing, the BLDC motor has to rotate at a very high speed to maintain the compression ratio of the compressor. Typically, to reach an ultra-high speed, airfoil bearings must be used in place of ball bearings because of their friction. Unfortunately, the characteristics of airfoil bearings change drastically depending on the revolution speed. In this paper, a BLDC motor with airfoil bearings is controlled with a PID controller. To analyze and determine the PID coefficients, the relay-feedback method is used. Additionally, for adaptive control, a fuzzy logic controller is used. Furthermore, the auto-tuning and self-tuning techniques are combined to control the BLDC motor. The proposed method is able to control the airfoil-bearing BLDC motor efficiently.

퍼지 PID 제어 기법을 이용한 선박평형수 처리 시스템 설계 및 제작 (Design and Fabrication of Ballast Water Treatment System using Fuzzy PID Controller)

  • 선박의 평형과 균형을 위해 사용하고 있는 선박용 평형수는 선박의 이동과 함께 이동되며 선박의 화물 적재와 하역 시 선박용 평형수의 급수와 배수가 이루어지게 된다. 이를 통하여 유입된 외래 해양 미생물의 경우 새로운 환경에 적응하여 스스로 파괴되기도 하지만 적응을 하게 되는 미생물의 경우에는 강력한 번식력을 바탕으로 해양 생태계를 파괴하게 된다. 주로 사용되고 있는 자외선 살균 공법은 살균된 미생물의 기형변이 문제와 침전물 제거, 2차 평형수 저장 탱크의 살균 문제를 가지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 퍼지 PID제어 기법을 이용한 램프 출력 조절 시스템을 구현하여 램프 파손 방지와 미생물 기형변이 문제를 억제할 수 있는 선박평형수 처리시스템을 개발 하였다. 실험 결과 초기 3분간은 해수의 급격한 온도 상승이 이루어졌으며 안정기 이후에서는 적정 온도를 유지하여 램프의 수명 연장과 해양 미생물의 기형변이 문제를 억제 할 수 있게 되었다.

  • In this paper, we consider one of robust control system, fuzzy PI+fuzzy D controller dealing with noise, load, changed parameters of plant. We apply PI+D controller with a design for output of differential function and, we plan fuzzy controller with input for PID parameter of PI+D controller so We design control system meet with the change of environment with robust in relation to change of parameter. Fuzzy control is possessed of easy 4 rules and membership function and We design fuzzy PI+fuzzy D controller. Plant of this paper make a choice of 3 phase induction motor.

퍼지 게인 스케쥴링을 이용한 CSTR의 온도 제어 (Temperature Control of a CSTR using Fuzzy Gain Scheduling)

  • A CSTR (Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor) is a highly nonlinear process with varying parameters during operation. Therefore, tuning of the controller and determining the transition policy of controller parameters are required to guarantee the best performance of the CSTR for overall operating regions. In this paper, a methodology employing the 2DOF (Two-Degree-of-Freedom) PID controller, the anti-windup technique and a fuzzy gain scheduler is presented for the temperature control of the CSTR. First, both a local model and an EA (Evolutionary Algorithm) are used to tune the optimal controller parameters at each operating region by minimizing the IAE (Integral of Absolute Error). Then, a set of controller parameters are expressed as functions of the gain scheduling variable. Those functions are implemented using a set of "if-then" fuzzy rules, which is of Sugeno's form. Simulation works for reference tracking, disturbance rejecting and noise rejecting performances show the feasibility of using the proposed method.

  • In this paper, a fuzzy logic controller is designed for speed control of a hydraulic inverter elevator. Mathematical modeling of an elevator actuated with hydraulic system is presented and the friction characteristics of a cylinder is examined, which may cause the abrupt increase of the acceleration in the zero-crossing speed region. Simulation results show that the proposed fuzzy logic speed controller yields a better control performance than conventional PID controller.

  • In this paper, a level controller is designed with the neuro-fuzzy model based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy system. The fuzzy system is employed as the controller, which can be tuned by the neural network mechanism based on a gradient descent technique. The tuning mechanism will provide an optimal process input by forcing the process error to zero. The proposed controller provides the online tunable mode to adjust the consequent membership function parameters. The controller is implemented with M-file and graphic user interface (GUI) of Matlab program. The program uses MPIBM3 interface card to connect with the industrial processes In the experimentation, the proposed method is tested to vary of the process parameters, set points and load disturbance. Processes of one tank and two tanks are used to evaluate the efficiency of our controller. The results of the both processes are compared with two PID systems that are 3G25A-PIDO1-E and E5AK of OMRON. From the comparison results, our controller performance can be archived in the case of more robustness than the two PID systems.

  • In this paper, we propose the hybrid fuzzy controller(HFC) and the hybrid auto-tuning algorithm. The proposed HFC combined a PID controller with a fuzzy controller concurrently produces the better output performance such as sensitivity improvement in steady state and robustness in transient state than any other controller. In addition, a hybrid auto-tuning algorithm which consists of genetic algorithm and complex algorithm to automatically generate weighting factor, scaling factors and PID control gains optimizes the output of HFC. As an typical example of non-linear system in control theory an inverted pendulum will be controlled by the suggested HFC and illustrated the performance and applicability of this proposed method by simulation.
