INTUITIONISTIC FUZZY QUICK IDEALS IN d-ALGEBRAS

  • Quick ideals and the fuzzification of quick ideals in d-algebras are considered, and some related properties are investigated. The intuitionistic fuzzification of quick ideals of a d-algebra is established, and related results are studied. The notion of equivalence relations on the family of all intuitionistic fuzzy quick ideals of a d-algebra is introduced, and then some properties are discussed.

  • The paper introduces a new method for fuzzy processing. The method allows handing a piece of information lost in the classic fuzzification process, and thus neglected by other methods. Processing the result after fuzzification is sustained by the interpretation that the input-output set mapping, specified by the IF-THEN rules, can be regarded as a direct mapping of their corresponding alpha-cuts. Processing involves just singletons as intermediary results, the final result being a combination of singletons obtained from fired rules.

  • This paper describes a fuzzy PI control method to control the output voltage of three-phase Z-source PWM rectifier. The proposed fuzzy PI controller is a single input fuzzy with its fuzzification, inferences and de-fuzzification processes. The proposed method adjusts the Kp and Ki in real time in order to find the most suitable Kp and Ki for PI controller and to simplify the controller design. The PI portion of DC voltage controller is controlled by fuzzy method. The simulation is performed with PSIM and MATLAB/SIMULINK and is verified the validity of the proposed approach.

  • This paper is concerned with an optimization design of Incremental Granular Model(IGM) based Genetic Algorithm (GA) as an evolutionary approach. The performance of IGM has been successfully demonstrated to various examples. However, the problem of IGM is that the same number of cluster in each context is determined. Also, fuzzification factor is set as typical value. In order to solve these problems, we develop a design method for optimizing the IGM to optimize the number of cluster centers in each context and the fuzzification factor. We perform energy analysis using 12 different building shapes simulated in Ecotect. The experimental results on energy efficiency data set of building revealed that the proposed GA-based IGM showed good performance in comparison with LR and IGM.

  • This paper presents an image contrast enhancement technique for improving low contrast images. We applied fuzzy logic to develop an image contrast enhancement technique in the viewpoint of considering that the low pictorial information of a low contrast image is due to the vaguness or fuzziness of the multivalued levels of brightness rather than randomness. The fuzzy image contrast enhancement technique consists of three main stages, namely, image fuzzification, modification of membership values, and image defuzzification. In the stage of image fuzzification, we need to select a crossover point. To select the crossover point automatically the K-means algorithm is used. The problem of crossover point selection can be considered as the two-category, object and background, classification problem. The proposed method is applied to an experimental image with 256 gray levels and the result of the proposed method is compared with that of the histogram equalization technique. We used the index of fuzziness as a measure of image quality. The result shows that the proposed method is better than the histogram equalization technique.

A Study on the Modified Construction Method far Sasaki Fuzzy Controller (Sasaki 퍼지제어기에 대한 개선된 구성방법에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we proposed a new circuit construction method that reduces the number of circuit devices of fuzzy controller. Sasaki had defined a new operator to eliminate the divide circuit comparing with the center of gravity method which often using to design the fuzzy controller. In this paper we obtained the more compacted fuzzy controller's circuit by using the proposed definition of fuzzification and defuzzification than using the Sasaki's method and the fuzzification and defuzzification are reverse operation each other. Using these definitions we exhibit the new design method and circuit structure that can eliminate the bounded product(BP) circuit included in Sasaki's circuit. Using the proposed method to level controlling of the water tank, we verified the fuzzy controller's performance by using existent method and proposed method. As a result that are calculated by using the Proposed fuzzy controller to level controlling of the water tank, total numbers of blocks and devices were decreased. If the number of variables and antecedents are Be11ing larger, this method is more efficient.
