Since its foundation in September 1986, the Korean Society of Water and Wastewater has made a significant contribution to the water sector in Korea over the past 30 years. The 30th anniversary commemorative committee reviewed the establishment goal of the society and its development strategy for organization and present the "Future Vision of Korean Society of Water and Wastewater" for the next 30 years. The future vision of the society is defined as "Aiming for the healthy life and preservation of the environment through the development of water and wastewater technology and experience". Promotion strategies for implementing the future vision are as follows: 1. Leading water and wastewater technology, 2. Develop water and wastewater policy, 3. Strengthen water and wastewater capacity, 4. Reinforce institutional governance. The driving target to be achieved through the implementation strategy is "To lead the global standards of water and wastewater." We also presented national issue, policy issue, and technical issues in the water sector. Climate change, unified Korea, water safety, and national welfare were selected as national issues related to water and wastewater. This approach was taken from the perspective of policy consumers such as citizens, civil society, experts, and local government/industry. By presenting policy issues and technical issues that address national issues, authors have proposed a future policy direction for the Korean Water and Wastewater Society to make critical contributions to national development.

전세계 국가는 21세기 메가 트렌드인 기술 융합(Technology Convergence) 추세에 발 맞춰 정보통신(IT)분야 미래비전 및 전략수립에 몰두하고 있다. 그리고, 자국의 국부 증대 및 신산업 창출을 위해 WWRF (Wireless World Research Forum), AmI (Ambient Intelligence), and mITF (mobile IT Forum)등의 공학적 시나리오를 기반으로 한 연구를 하고 있다. 하지만 국내의 경우 비전연구 및 전략수립에 대한 연구가 초보단계로 미래전략 수립에 능동적으로 대처하기에는 미흡하다는 지적이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 시나리오 기법을 활용한 선진국의 공학적인 미래전략연구 사례를 분석하고, 공학적인 시나리오 비전연구 방법을 제시한다.

Purposes: This research is conducted to identify main features and trends of mission, vision and core values in Korean tertiary general hospitals by using text-mining. Methodology: For the study, 45 mission, 112 vision and 190 core values are collected from 45 tertiary general hospitals' homepages in 2022 and use word frequency analysis and Leyword co-occurrence analysis. Findings: In the tertiary general hospitals' mission, there are high frequency words such as 'health', 'humanity', 'medical treatment', 'education', 'research', 'happiness', 'love', 'best', 'spirit', and mission mainly includes the content of contributing humanity's health and happiness with these words. In case of vision, high frequency words are 'hospital', 'medical treatment', 'research', 'lead', 'trust', 'centered', 'patient', 'best', 'future'. By using these words in vision, it represents the definition and characteristics of vision such as ideal organizations in the future, goals and targets. As a result of the Leyword co-occurrence analysis, vision includes the content of 'high-tech medical treatment', 'special care for patients', 'leading education and research', 'the highest trust with customer', 'creative talents training'. -astly, the high frequency word-pairs in core values are 'social distribution', 'innovation pursuit', 'cooperation and harmony', and it defines standards of behavior for organizations. Practical Implication: To correct the problems of vision, mission and core values from findings, firstly, it needs for Korean tertiary general hospitals to use the words that can explain organization's identity and differentiate others in their mission. Secondly, considering strengthening the role of hospitals in their community and the importance of members in organizations, it is necessary to establish vision with considering community and members to activate vision effectively. Thirdly, because there are no specific guidelines of establishing mission, vision and core values for healthcare organizations, this research concepts and results could be utilized when other organizations establish mission, vision and core values.

이 연구는 국가 차원의 중장기적 수학교육표준 마련의 일환으로 미래 수학교육이 추구해야 할 인간상, 수학 역량을 도출하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구진은 선행 연구 분석, 전문가 자문, 초점 집단 면담을 거쳐 인간상, 수학 역량을 도출하였으며, 설문조사를 통한 타당화 과정을 거쳤다. 미래인간상과 수학 역량의 세부 내용을 제시하였으며, 수학교육의 방향을 제안하였다.

This is an analysis report of the "Korean Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (KACAP), Vision 2033 Survey". The survey questionnaires were developed by the planning department of KACAP and sent to KACAP members from 2012 to 2013. This survey consisted of six categories : membership, academic activity, journal publication, administrative system, fellowship training program, and future planning. The response rate was 40.5%. In addition to multiple choice questions, responders also described their own ideas and suggestions regarding KACAP. The results of this study can be used as evidence for planning the vision 2033 of KACAP.

The Korean Peninsula has the gateway role of Far East Asia in economic aspect, because it is the channel to global world that Korea and Japan should take in the future. Till now, there was no real economic cooperation in service industry for two Koreas. Nevertheless, it is high time that two Koreas have to play a gateway role in order to pave the way to come true their global vision. This paper aims to examine the possibility of economic cooperation between two Koreas in service sector and explore the vision and strategy which are useful for the ways toward peaceful unification on the Korean Peninsula and two Koreas' future survival in the midst of global competition. Economic cooperation in service sector, such as transport, tourism, educational services, etc. between two Koreas means establishing and strengthening the infrastructure of their unification. If there were no cooperation of service sector on the Korean Peninsula, we also could not expect the outcome of economic cooperation and the vision of Korea's unification. To sum up, the strategy recommended for the Korean Peninsula's global vision is that two Koreas should simultaneously open the window of economic cooperation in service sector and link the interface between the Eurasian continent and the Korean Peninsula.

메타버스는 빠르게 발전하고 있는 현대적인 기술이다. 본 연구의 목적은 일반적인 관점뿐만 아니라 컴퓨터 비전의 관점에서 메타버스 기술을 조사하는 것이다. 제안 방법에서는 메타버스 주제와 연관된 컴퓨터 비전에 대한 철저한 분석이 수행되었다. 메타버스의 역사, 방식, 아키텍처, 이점과 결점 모두 포함되어 있다. 또한 메타버스의 미래와 이 기술의 적응하기 위해 해야 하는 단계들을 설명하고 있으며, 혼합 현실(MR), 증강 현실(AR), 확장 현실(XR) 및 가상 현실(VR)의 개념들을 간략하게 소개한다. 특히 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 비전의 역할과 적용, 장단점, 그리고 미래 연구 분야에 대해 논의한다.

Surveying and GIS have increasingly contributed to improve the quality of humane life through the development of its technology. While the surveying professions are now experiencing the crisis of identity. In this paper, we aim to study the concepts and presence of newly used terminologies, present state and future vision of surveying and GIS in Korea. To cope with various surveying consumers for expanding the market and their demands, enhancement of educational system, complement of laws legal system, construction of cooperative system in business are basically required.

Structural health monitoring is a technology or research field that extends the service life of structures and contributes to the prevention of disaster accidents by continuously evaluating the safety, stability, and serviceability of structures as well as allowing timely and proper maintenance. However, the contact-type sensors used for it require considerable time, cost, and labor for installation and maintenance. As an alternative, computer vision has attracted attention recently. Computer vision has the potential to make quality, deformation, and damage monitoring for structures contactless and automated. In this study, research cases in which computer vision was utilized for structural health monitoring are introduced, and its effects and limitations are summarized. Therefore, the applicability and future research directions of computer vision-based structural health monitoring are discussed.
