The technologies in medical electronic implant(MEI) devices are developing rapidly, and already, there are various kinds of the MEI devices in the current medical equipments market. Recently, the global market scale of MEI devices have been increased about 13% year by year, and the import amount of MEI devices in Korea is increasing rapidly. In the near future, the demands of MEI devices will be magnificently increasing by the continuous development of the biomedical electronics devices which coupled with neural, brain and other organs will bring us to tremendous effects, such as providing new therapeutic solutions to patients, extension and saving human life, and an important clue of medical development. However, the investment of the research and the activity of developments in this field are still very weak in the Korea. Consequently, this paper introduces about the research trends of MEI devices, and technological problems those must be solved, and then concludes with the suggestions in order to be the leading country in this field.

The telecommunications market in European Union was fully liberalized as schedule except some member countries on and after January 1, 1998. The full liberalization of telecommunications market which will provide lower charges and various services to consumers. At present, the monopoly on voice telephony services is being maintained in five member countries authorized the implementation delay of liberalization. There are still remain many problems, such as pre-selection of carriers, number portability and interconnection, to solve by January 1, 2000. After examining the basic principle of telecommunication regulations and the liberalization trends of EU countries, we review the future assignments and prospects of European Union. finally we suggest implications for telecommunication policy and carriers in Korea.

Social Q&A sites such as Yahoo! Answers and Naver Knowledge-iN have become a viable method for information seeking and sharing on the Web. Considering their immense popularity and growing concerns about their validity as information sources, questions about the credibility of the information provided on social Q&As are timely. Therefore, this paper summarizes recent research on credibility related to the social Q&A context, identifies research gaps, and presents a research agenda for future research to advance this newly developing area.

This paper critically examines research trends on the relationship between technological innovation and economic growth in Korea. There are different views on the role of innovation in economic growth including Exogenous and Endogenous Growth, National Innovation System, Technological Capabilities, Economic Catch-up discourses and so on. According to these theoretical discourses, existing studies about Korea are reviewed in a critical way and then future research work is proposed through such a critical review and reflection.

OLED 조명은 얇고 가볍고 열이 나지 않은 이점을 가질 뿐만 아니라 형광등 절반의 전력으로 같은 밝기가 구현 가능하여 저전력 조명기구가 가능하게 될 것이다. 또한 태양광에 가까운 균일한 면광원으로 부드러우면서 자연스러우면서 다양한 모양의 등 기구 제작이 가능한 차세대 조명이다. 본고에서는 OLED 조명의 발광원리와 특징, OLED의 고성능화를 위한 고효율 재료기술, 광추출 기술, 백색 OLED 기술, 봉지기술 등에 관하여 기술하였다. 또한 OLED 광원 산업체의 동향을 한국을 중심으로 일본업체, 대만/중국업체, 미국업체, 유럽업체 순으로 살펴보았다. OLED 조명은 2020년에 이론적인 발광 효율인 200lm/W가 구현이 되면 일상생활의 조명이 획기적으로 변화되는 사회를 맞을 것으로 기대되므로, 전 세계적으로 시장형성 초기단계이므로 선제적이고 전주기적인 지원을 통하여 시장선점 및 확대가 필요하다.

Drones are now widely used in civilian applications such as filming, leisure, agricultural control, monitoring, and the generation of 3D-spatial information, deviating only from military drones. In the field of logistics, prototypes are emerging in the area of logistics transportation, and to develop a future transportation service under the name of a drone tax, each country is introducing its first flight results using its own unique drones. In this paper, we review the domestic and overseas trends of drone delivery service technology, which requires various capabilities such as automatic flight, and review the related core technologies. We then propose the flight capability and road map of a drone delivery service according to the detailed conditions such as the flight area, visibility, and flight method. Additionally, in connection with the postal processing of the Korea Post Office, which would be a main demand for this type of service, we describe a method for realizing a drone delivery service based on the structure, scenario, and deployment of the drone delivery system.

This study was attempted to check period of a fashion cycle and to suggest its main-stream and sub-stream by analyzing the fashion trends presented in Vogue Korea between 1997 and 2002. A content analysis method was used to analyze 24 volumes. The result showed that the fashion trend of 1997's was a turning point from the simplicity, which was a trend up to 1996's, to the romanticism. The fashion trends of 2002 seemed to be also a turning point from the new-romanticism which was added the hippism to the romanticism continued from 1997, to the sporticism. The result confirmed that the main-stream of fashion theme have been continued for 5 years as a regular cycle system and could be repeated. It also verified that some sub-stream which was affected by social, cultural and political situation led the fashion changes. The results of this study could be expected to reflect not only fashion design, merchandising and marketing strategy but also consumer purchase behavior of the future.

Afterward, 3D printing technique manages the important role when it exceeds the product manufacturing view just and is grafted with the various technology including the biotechnology, nanotechnology, and etc. and it improves the quality of the human life.

In this study recent trends of research about beliefs in physics education were discussed and cultural approaches were suggested. Cultural aspects in the contexts of science education were discussed and diverse aspects of beliefs in physics education-beliefs about nature, physics, learning physics, value and expectation, and learning physics-were analyzed considerating cultural aspects. Finally, directions for future studies about beliefs and cultural approaches in physics education were suggested.

지난 20년 동안 국내를 비롯하여 글로벌 세계는 커다란 변화의 격동적 시기였으며 그 중심에는 IT가 발전적 동인으로 작용하였다. 이 기간 동안 IT는 우리나라의 국가경쟁력과 산업발전에 커다란 기여를 해왔다. 향후 20년은 우리나라의 국운을 결정하고 지속적 발전을 위한 중요한 시기가 되며 변화와 혁신의 시기로 전망되고, IT는 보다 중요한 핵심적 역할을 수행할 것으로 기대된다. 특히 IT는 사회전반의 인프라로 다른 영역과의 융합 또는 기반역할을 통해 사회적 당면과제를 해결하고 국가발전 역량을 강화시키는 중추적 역할을 담당할 것으로 기대된다. 본 글에서는 미래변화를 사회와 기술측면에서 조명하고 우리나라가 미래사회를 주도하기 위한 IT 산업의 과제와 기여방향을 분야별로 제시하였다.
