Objective: The purpose of this paper is to introduce new research trends of human error and accident modeling and to suggest future promising research directions in those areas. Background: Various methods and techniques have been developed to understand the nature of human errors, to classify them, to analyze their causes, to prevent their negative effects, and to use their concepts during design process. However, it has been reported that they are impractical and ineffective for modern complex systems, and new research approaches are needed to secure the safety of those systems. Method: Six different perspectives to study human error and system safety are explained, and then seven recent research trends are introduced in relation to the six perspectives. The implications of the new research trends and viable research directions based on them are discussed from a cognitive systems engineering point of view. Results: Traditional methods for analyzing human errors and identifying causes of accidents have critical limitations in complex systems, and recent research trends seem to provide some insights and clues for overcoming them. Conclusion: Recent research trends of human error and accident modeling emphasize different concepts and viewpoints, which include systems thinking, sociotechnical perspective, ecological modelling, system resilience, and safety culture. Application: The research topics explained in this paper will help researchers to establish future research programmes.

본 연구는 자율주행시대에 적합한 차량 실내 인테리어 디자인 중에서 실내 공간, 편의장치를 중심으로 진행하였으며 STEEP 분석법을 적용하여 미래 자동차 실내디자인 모델을 제시하였다. 서비스디자인 방법론을 적용하여 레이아웃의 재배치와 운전자 중심의 정보 제공 목적으로 설치되었던 디스플레이 장치의 변화를 다루고 있다. 커넥티드, 인포테인먼트 등 다양한 목적을 위한 디스플레이의 종류와 설치 위치에 대한 변화가 예상된다. 특히, 이런 분석을 통해 미래 자율주행 자동차에서 지내게 되는 실내 인테리어 연구를 통한 트렌드와 경험을 연구함으로서 이후 후속연구에서는 실제 개발과 응용을 위한 기초 자료로써 활용될 것이다. 5단계로 진행한 연구 과제를 STEEP과 연계하는 미래트렌드 도출과 FGI를 통한 전문가들의 자문을 거쳐 핵심동인을 추출 하였다. 이를 통해 이후 실내디자인에 하나의 방향으로 제시했다. 사용자 중심의 참여형 디자인 방법을 통해 자율주행차에서 기대 할 수 있는 체험과 경험을 위주로 감성적인 키워드 도출법을 사용하였다, 도출된 동인을 미래사회 5대 트렌드와 묶어서 요약정리 하였고 각 도출된 동인들에는 해당되는 기술 분야를 함께 고려할 수 있도록 그룹핑을 했으며, 자율주행 Level에 따라 수요자가 경험할 수 있는 요소를 더하기도 했다. 이는 미래 자율주행차 산업은 개인적 성향뿐만 아니라 다양한 사회적 이슈와 관점에서 바라본 실내 레이아웃, 편의장치 등의 서비스디자인 트렌드에 대한 연구가 이어져서 보다 다양한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다.

Reading and foreseeing fashion trends is crucial and difficult in the fashion industry due to accelerated and diversified changes in fashion trends. We use network analysis to investigate fashion trends from 2004 to 2013 in order to find the inter-relevance among fashion trends. We extracted words from fashion trend info for women's wear provided by Samsung Design Net, created a 2-mode network of seasons and trend languages, and visualized this network using NodeXl program. Fashion trends repeated a unique pattern during the period. In the first half (2004-2008), retro modern, feminine modern, and ecological modern were dominant trends in consecutive order. The years 2009-2013 witnessed distinctive fashion trends in S/S seasons and in F/W seasons. 11F/W, 12F/W and 13F/W seasons were characterized by artistic creative style. From 2010, natural style dominated S/S seasons. 10S/S and 12S/S seasons were distinguished as a calm natural style that reflected a peaceful and simple life. In 11S/S and 13S/S seasons, soft natural style emerged as a sign of increased importance of inner spirit and natural energy. A seasonal reappearance of trends was observed every two years in S/S seasons that enabled the prediction that 14S/S will see another version of natural style. A macroscopic trend for the last 10 years was represented by the keywords 'modern' and 'natural'. 'Modern' involved the past styles such as 60's, Baroque and the origin of human life. 'Natural' was connected with design elements such as material, silhouette and color. Managerial implications and future study directions are discussed based on the results.

The aim of the study was to grasp the current trends and to predict the future trends of space composition characteristics by analyzing floorplans drawn by housewives as their ideal apartments. The content analysis method was used for this study. This research used data from a competition held in 1993 by a housing construction company. Among 3,102 floorplans collected 12,232 were selected by Proportional Stratified Sampling Method. The major findings are as follows; 1) Some major features were interpreted as current trends; respondents wanted new rooms that could accomodate various functions separated the private spaces from public trends; they wanted to expand the verandah both visually and actually put importance on the number of bathrooms and have the space for outdoor living and leisure activities.

This study deals with the technological trends in the automobile recycling technologies. It first discusses the importance and current situation of automobile recycling. And then it discusses the technological trends in automobile recycling industry classifying the technologies into three groups: disassemblying, recycling, and design. It deals with recycling of major parts of automobiles and the design of automobile for recyclability. This study also contains a patent analysis of the technologies. Different patterns in the trend of patents among various conn-tries are discussed with the context of legal and industrial situation of each country And finally it discusses the forecasting for the future technological and legislative trends.

Purpose - One of the biggest problems in the e-learning distribution process is the lack of quality content and learners' discredit in e-learning content. In order to respond to the various demands of the corporate education field appropriately, it is necessary to search for directions of new e-learning models that are out of traditional e-learning contents. The purpose of this study is to identify recent trend issues related to corporate e-learning and to suggest directions for development. Research design, data, and methodology - Based on the literature review, trend issues that should be considered important in corporate e-learning were derived. Online survey was conducted to evaluate the importance-feasibility of each issue to 13 experts on e-learning and corporate education. The contents of the questionnaire are as follows: 1) recognition of importance and feasibility of trend issues to be considered important in the future corporate education field; 2) factors to be considered in developing future e-learning contents. Results - Six trends derived from a comprehensive literature review. The most important e-learning trends for corporate education field were 'mobile learning', 'micro learning', 'blended learning', 'social learning', 'adaptive learning', 'engaged learning'. As a result of evaluating the importance and feasibility of each issue, experts point out that 'mobile learning' and 'micro learning' should be actively considered for introduction and utilization at present. In addition, 'social learning' and 'blended learning' need to be actively considered in the near future. On the other hand, experts recognized that 'adaptive learning' and 'engaged learning' need to be prepared from a long-term perspective. Conclusions - There are two main reasons for this result. First, in corporate e-learning, it is important to 1) be able to update on time, 2) the connection with the workplace is important. Second, it requires realistic verification of the expected performance of the learning model. To be considered part of the future are as follows: First, the value and effectiveness of the new e-learning type should be studied. Seconds, e-learning contents should be developed through adopting SAM or Agile methodology. Through this process, we would be able to enhance the quality in e-learning content.

The purpose of this study is to understand the trends of fashion mask designs as a fashion item with characteristics to protect individual health and safety from harmful environments. To this end, the concept, the trend analysis of the domestic and foreign mask markets, the type, characteristics of functional masks, and the design trend of fashion masks were analyzed. Research methods included case studies and literaturte on mask design, fashion magazines, fashion brand websites, fashion collections, and promotional material. First, masks for personal safety were classified as protective function masks from the natural environment, functional masks by industrial groups, masks for protective functions from biohazards, and masks for protective functions from various external activities. Through this analysis, the design trends of fashion masks were analyzed. The functional orientation of structure and functionality, the environmental orientation of sustainable eco-friendly methods, the fashion orientation of individual fashion styling, and the social functional orientation tend to transmit social messages. In the harmful environment of everyday life, items such as fashion masks with functionality and fashion characteristics should be continuously studied to integrate functional and design characteristics that can contribute to the future fashion industry and the fashion market as a sense of unity and responsibility.

The purpose this study was to examine the actual condition and trends in changing the seating style in the house, focusing on the behavioral posture. The data was collected through the self-entry questionnaire designed for this study and the sample of 400 in total, 200 cases from Korea and 200 cases from Japav. The major findings were as the following : the seating style of Korean and japanese female university students were the floor-seating trends in the present conditiov. But they generally preferred the chair seating in the future. In the present seating style, the chair seating style has included bath, study, dinner, sleep, make-up, rest and family communication in that order by Korean Female university students ; the chair seating style has included sleep, study, dinner, make-up, bath, rest and family communication in that order by japanese.
