  • A electro-foaming fusion wrap fitting for polyethylene sewer pipe was built and foaming mechanism has been studied. A foaming sheet, supporting sheet and clamping band is assembled into a all-in-one structured electro-foaming fusion wrap fitting. To specify foaming and fusion of electro-foaming fusion wrap for PE sewer pipe, series of fusion tests were performed in various conditions. A parallel plate compression test up to 50 % of inner diameter deflection has been performed to check integrity of fusion quality and it was found that there were no visible signs of crack in wrapped area of fitting. Also air tightness test based on KS M 3511-2 has been performed to evaluate perfectness of wrap fusion quality and we found there were no pressure drop up to 10 times higher value than KS standard regulation.

  • Emergency lights and exit signs are an indispensable part of safety precautions for effective evacuation in case of emergency in public buildings. These emergency sign indicates safe escape routes and emergency doors, using an internationally recognizable sign. However visibility of those signs drops drastically in case of emergency situations like fire smoke, etc. and loss of visibility causes serious problems for safety evacuation. This paper propose a novel emergency light and exit sign built-in with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Beacon to assist the emergency self-guiding evacuation using devices for crisis and emergency management to avoid panic condition inside the buildings. In this approach, the emergency light and exit sign with the BLE beacons deployed in the indoor environments and the smart devices detect their indoor positions, direction to move, and next exit sign position from beacon messages and interact with map server in the Internet / Intranet over the available LTE and/or Wi-Fi network connectivity. The map server generate an optimal emergency exit path according to the nearest emergency exit based on a novel graph generation method for less route computation for each smart device. All emergency exit path data interfaces among three system components, the emergency exit signs, map server, and smart devices, have been defined for modular implementation of our emergency evacuation system. The proposed exit sign experimental system has been deployed and evaluated in real-time building environment thoroughly and gives a good evidence that the modular design of the proposed exit sign system and a novel approach to compute emergency exit path route based on the BLE beacon message, map server, and smart devices is competitive and viable.

  • In the fire there are fusion signs and damage by fire, and insulation aging and carbonization of the electric wiring in the ignition spot because of special characteristic of the appliance in the electricity fire. Because of the physical factor applied in the damage of fire, the decision of ignition spot by eye investigation is insufficient. In this paper, the cause of electricity fire is researched. The focus is on the operation state of operated MCCB(Molded Case Circuit Breaker) at the time of electricity fire. Through grasping the operation principle of MCCB and the experiment, the state of MCCB after fire suppression is discriminated. The distinction possibility on the exist of electricity fire is proposed.

  • In dentistry, the term 'fusion' is used to describe a developmental disorder of dental hard tissues. In the permanent dentition, fusion of a normal tooth and a supernumerary tooth usually involves the incisors or canines. However, a few cases of fusion involving premolars have also been reported to date. We present a rare case in which fusion of the maxillary left second premolar and a supernumerary tooth in a 13-year-old girl was diagnosed using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT, Alphard-3030, Asahi Roentgen Ind. Co., Ltd.). The tooth was bicuspidized after routine nonsurgical root canal treatment, and the separated teeth underwent appropriate restoration procedures. The second premolar and supernumerary tooth remained asymptomatic without any signs of inflammation after a follow-up period of 9 years. Identification of anatomical anomalies is important for treatment in cases involving fusion with supernumerary tooth, and therefore the microscopic examinations and CBCT are essential for the diagnosis. Fused teeth can be effectively managed by the comprehensive treatment which includes both endodontic and periodontal procedures.

  • The fusion-barrier distribution is very sensitive to the structure of the colliding nuclei such as nuclear quadrupole and hexadecapole deformation parameters and their signs. If the nuclei that enter the fusion reaction are deformed, the barrier problem becomes complicated. Therefore the deformation parameters are taken into account in the calculations. In this study, Neuro-Fuzzy approach, ANFIS, method has been used for the estimation of ground-state quadrupole (𝜀2) and hexadecapole (𝜀4) deformation parameters for the nuclei. According to the results, the method is suitable for this task and one can confidently use it to obtain the data that is not available in the literature.

  • Nowadays, the most of commercial buildings are build-out with complex architecture and decorated with more complicated interiors of buildings so establishing intelligible escape routes becomes an important case of fire or other emergency in a limited time. The commercial buildings are already equipped with multiple exit signs and these exit signs may create confusion and leads the people into different directions under emergency. This can jeopardize the emergency situation into a chaotic state, especially in a complex layout buildings. There are many research focused on implementing different approached to improve the exit sign system with better visual navigating effects, such as the use of laser beams, the combination of audio and video cues, etc. However the digital signage system based emergency exit sign management is one of the best solution to guide people under emergency situations to escape. This research paper, propose an intelligent evacuation route GUIDE that uses the combination centralized Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and digital signage for people safety and avoids dangers from emergency conditions. This proposed system applies WSN to detect the environment condition in the building and uses an evacuation algorithm to estimate the safe route to escape using the sensor information and then activates the signage system to display the safe evacuation route instruction GUIDE according to the location the signage system is installed. This paper presented the prototype of the proposed signage system and execution time to find the route with future research directions. The proposed system provides a natural intelligent evacuation route interface for self or remote operation in facility management to efficiently GUIDE people to the safe exit under emergency conditions.

  • A successful on-line monitoring system for conventional machining operations has the potential to reduce cost, guarantee consistency of product quality, improve productivity and provide a safer environment for the operator. In fee-shape machining, typical signs of tool problems such as vibration, noise, chip flow characteristics and visual signs are almost unnoticeable without the use of special equipment. These characteristics increase the importance of automatic monitoring in fine-shape machining; however, sensing and interpretation of signals are more complex. In addition, the shafts of the micro-tools break before the typical extensive cutting edge of the tool gets damaged. In this study, the existence of a relationship between the characteristics of the cutting force and tool usage was investigated, and tool breakage detection algorithm was developed and the fellowing results are obtained. In data analysis, didn't use a relative error compare which mainly used in established experiment and investigated tool breakage detection algorithm in time domain which can detect AE and cutting force signals more effective and accurate.

  • Color excesses of classical Cepheids in the uvby color system are estimated for the calibration stars with distances from the literature that are measured independently. Intrinsic photometric indices for these stars are calculated and a calibrated empirical relation between (b - y)$_0$, period, [$c_1$], and [$m_1$] is derived through a linear fit. This relation is used to determine color excesses E(b-y) for 59 Cepheids. We also examine the period-color [log P : (b - y)$_0$] relation, and find no signs of nonlinearity. We estimate the effective temperature and surface gravity of several Cepheids using both Kurucz and MARCS/SSG grids for [Fe=H]=0.0. We confirm that both temperature and surface gravity are higher, by about 150K and 0.4 respectively, when the MARCS/SSG atmospheric grids are used.
