Requirements of a benchmarking for rapid prototyping systems and process usually include manufacturing time, cost (including system price), and dimensional accuracy. This paper deals with a benchmarking comparisons to investigate the functional requirements of RP system. A special designed IMS_T2 test part with dimensional. geometrical, and surface roughness features has been used in the inspection of RP processes. IMS_T2 test part was built on 5 commercially available RP machines which are relatively new model in Korea.

This paper discusses the development of a generic train operation model from a set of Korean Urban Transit Regulations such as Regulation for Train Operation of Urban Transit, Regulation for Safety Requirements of Urban Transit and so on. It is to communicate with various stakeholders on urban transit system, and to elicit copious requirements in performance of the urban transit train operation based on the model.

In this paper the functional requirements of a B-ISDN access network based on MAN are investigated. Firstly, criteria of designing access network for the B-ISDN is studied. Secondly, the types of subscribers and their service requirements are defined. Thirdly, various architectures of CPNs(Customer Premises Networks) are considered and their characteristics are studied, Finally, the interworking functions of a DQDB MAN as an access network are investigated.

기술발전에 따라, 보다 다양한 분야와 영역에 다양한 형태의 임베디드 시스템이 사용됨에 따라, 그에 대한 신뢰성과 안전성에 대한 요구가 증가하면서, 하드웨어 뿐만 아니라 소프트웨어까지도 포함한 부분에 대한 철저한 명세와 그에 따른 검증이 요구되고 있어, 임베디드 시스템 및 소프트웨어의 요구사항 검증을 위해 요구사항 시뮬레이션이라는 기법을 적용하고, 그 효용성을 확인하고자 한다.

서술 지향적인 방법에 의한 요구사항의 도출은 명확한 요구사항을 정의하는 데 있어서 불충한 것으로 지적되곤 한다. 이것은 요구사항을 기술하는 작업자들이 시스템을 이해하는 관점에 차이가 있기도 하지만, 내용의 표현방법이나 다루는 내용의 깊이, 그리고 이러한 내용을 문서화하는 방법에 있어서도 큰 차이를 갖기 때문이다. 본 연구는 이와 같이 서술적인 방법으로 도출된 GOLORY(GLObal Resource management sYstem)의 요구사항을 개선하기 위하여 UML 기반의 다이어그램을 이용한 요구사항 분석기법을 적용한 사례이다. 특히 다이어그래밍 기법을 활용함으로써 요구사항을 체계적으로 명확하게 도식화 하고, 이를 통해 요구사항의 일관성 유지와 아울러, 중요한 요구사항의 누락 방지 등의 성과를 달성할 수 있었다.

LLRP(Low-Level Reader Protocol)는 RFID 리더(LLRP 서버)와 RFID 어플리케이션들(LLRP 클라이언트)간의 인터페이스를 기술하고 있다. LLRP 서버는 여러 기능들을 동시에 수행해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 LLRP 서버를 멀티 쓰레드 구조로 설계한다. 이를 위하여 (i) LLRP 서버와 클라이언트들 간의 동작 절차를 분석하고, (ii) LLRP 서버가 만족해야 할 기능적인 요구조건들을 제시하고, (iii) 그 요구조건들을 만족할 수 있도록 LLRP 서버의 역할을 여러 쓰레드로 나누고, (iv) 쓰레드 수준에서 LLRP 동작 절차를 세분하였다. 설계된 구조를 검증하기 위하여 이산사건 시스템을 계층적이고 모듈화된 방식으로 기술하는 언어인 DEVS 형식론을 이용하여 설계된 내용을 모델링하고 시뮬레이션 하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 제안된 구조는 LLRP 표준과 주어진 모든 기능적 요구 조건들을 만족함을 알 수 있었다.

서지관계모형을 위한 개념적 모델인 IFLA의 FRBR (Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records)에 대한 대안적인 접근이 발표되어 왔지만, FRBR 모델의 내부적인 일관성에 대해서는 많은 연구가 진행되어 있지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구는 FRBR 객체-관계 (entity-relationship) 모델에서 객체들 (entities)간의 관계(relationships) 에서 발생하는 상속 (inheritance) 속성과 관련된 모델의 내부적 모순점을 지적하며, 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 FRBR 모델의 표현성(expressiveness)을 강화하기 위한 여러 대안적인 방안을 논의한다.

Dietary fiber imparts both mutritional and functional properties to foods. This review deals with (1) the classification of dietary fiber, (2) the plant cell wall models, (3) the relations between structure and physicochemical and functional properties of dietary fiber and (4) the applications of dietary fiber in foods. Dietary fiber can be classified in terms of source, plant function, solubility, charge and topology. Plant cell wall models are presented to provide information on the interconnections of dietary fiber components which determines the content of soluble and insoluble dietary fiber content. In reality, physicochemical and functional properties of dietary fiber originate factors such as chemical constituents , charge, branching degree, conformation and etc. Dietary fibers possess a variety of functional properties in food systems, which thus make them useful in food application. In particular, rheology and gelation of water-soluble gums or hydrocolloids are discussed for their effects on food quality. A guideline s also listed for the gum selection to meet the best product requirements.

Multi-functional voltage source inverters (VSIs) have attracted increasing attention in recent years for their advantageous auxiliary services for power quality enhancement in autonomous microgrids. These types of VSIs can not only achieve a proper control scheme in autonomous mode but also cope with the prescribed power quality and stability requirements. These functionalities are integrated within the same device, thereby significantly improving the cost-effectiveness of microgrids while decreasing the investment and bulk compared with those of multiple devices with independent functionalities. Control strategies for power quality enhancement in autonomous microgrids using multi-functional VSIs are comprehensively reviewed in this paper. In addition, such VSIs are discussed in detail, and comparisons of which are also provided. Lastly, a number of future research directions for multi-functional VSIs are recommended.

시뮬레이션은 컴퓨터를 이용하여 실제 사물이나 작업의 상태, 혹은 프로세스를 모방하여 그 특징을 찾아내는 작업을 지칭하며, 시뮬레이터는 이러한 시뮬레이션 작업을 수행하는 하드웨어/소프트웨어 도구를 말한다. 다양한 시뮬레이터의 개발에 있어 공통적으로 요구되는 비기능적 속성은 변경가능성, 상호 운영성, 확장성이다. 그러나 기존의 시뮬레이터 개발에 관한 연구는 관심 시뮬레이션 모델에 대한 개발에 관한 것이며, 이러한 비기능적 요구사항에 대한 관심이 적다. 이에 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 기반 시뮬레이터 개발에 있어 요구되는 비기능적 요구사항 중 변경가능성, 상호운영성, 확장성을 고려한 시뮬레이터 아키텍처 패턴을 제시한다. 본 논문에서는 아키텍처 패턴을 정의하기 위해 시뮬레이터의 필수 요소를 파악하고 그들 간의 관계를 정의하였으며, 비기능적 요구사항을 반영할 수 있는 구조로 설계하였다. 제시된 패턴은 다양한 시뮬레이션 모델을 구축할 수 있도록 시뮬레이션 모델 컴포넌트를 중심으로 이들의 조합을 통해 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 이는 시뮬레이션 모델의 재구축을 통해 유연하게 시스템의 변경가능성을 보장하며, 시뮬레이션 모델에 다양한 인터페이스를 추가할 수 있고, 시뮬레이션 모델 컴포넌트의 인터페이스를 통일시켜 상호운영성 및 확장성을 보장한다. 이 논문의 아키텍처 패턴은 향후 개발될 다양한 소프트웨어 기반 시뮬레이터의 참조 모델로 활용될 수 있다.
