한(韓)브랜드 가구 디자인 개발을 위한 조사 연구 - 거실가구를 대상으로 - (A Study for the Development of Korean Brand Furniture Design - Focused on Livingroom Furniture -)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the preference of living room furniture and to suggest Korean brand furniture design guideline. Subjects consisted of 171 residents aged up 20 years old in Seoul and Kyung-ki. area. The data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical package. The results of descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test and $x^2$-test are presented. The result of this study showed as fallows; 1) Livingroom funiture design with considering family life behavior were needed. 2) Modernizing traditional elements(motives and pattern) were preferred to duplicating traditional elements. 3) In furniture materials, easy to maintaining and cleaning and environmentally-sound materials as solid wood were highly appraised. Also, functional and harmonious furniture design with interior or other furniture were needed. So, modular-system furniture for livingroom would fulfill user's needs which are function, harmony and conciseness. 4) Elegant, easy, unique, functional, and simple design for livingroom were highly appraised. Considering these results, it is necessary to develop more on the modernized traditional furniture based on the various needs of users. These results provide a practical guideline for the development of the Korean brand design for livingroom furniture design.

기능적 근력강화 운동이 뇌성마비 아동의 기립균형에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Functional Strengthening Exercise of Standing Balance in a Child With Cerebral Palsy)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of functional strengthening exercise on static and dynamic standing balance in a child with cerebral palsy. The subject was a 7 year old boy with diplegia whose Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM) score was 80% along with G1 of the lower extremities in Modified Ashworth Scale. The subject was ambulatory with some degree of limitation and demonstrated muscle weakness and strength asymmetry in the lower extremities. A changing criterion design for a single-subject research was used for this study. The functional strengthening exercise consisted of lower extremity ergometer exercise and knee exercise with grading movement in standing position, each for 20 minutes, which lasted 18 sessions for 6 weeks. A knee extensor strength test on both extremities and standing balance test were conducted after each functional strengthening exercise. Two types of standing balance were tested: one leg stance test and functional reach test. One leg stance test was to evaluate static standing balance, and functional reach test was to evaluate dynamic standing balance. The results showed that the functional strengthening exercise had some positive effects on improvement of both static and dynamic standing balance, and there was a positive correlation between the knee strength and standing balance.

만성폐질환 환자의 기능상태에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Functional Status in People with Chronic Lung Disease)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify factors that influence the functional status of chronic lung disease patients. Method: A descriptive, correlational study design was used. The study was conducted at the outpatient respiratory clinic of the large university hospital in Korea. A convenience sample of 128 chronic lung patients (age = 64.2 yrs; 106 COPD, 17 bronchiectasis, 5 DILD) with mean FEV1 64.4 % predicted. Functional status was measured with SIP. Physical variables (FEV1% predicted, dyspnea, fatigue, pulmonary symptom distress), psychological variables (mood, stress), and situational variable (sleep quality) were examined. Dyspnea was measured by the BDI, fatigue was measured with the MFI. Mood was measured with the modified Korean version of POMS. Sleep quality was measured with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. Potential independent variables for the regression were age, gender, years since diagnosis, FEV1% predicted, dyspnea, fatigue, pulmonary symptom distress, stress, and sleep quality. Result: In general, functional status was relatively good. In regression analysis, functional status were significantly influenced by dyspnea, mood, age and fatigue. These variables explained 70 % of the variances in functional status. Conclusion: The results suggest that psychophysiologic symptom management should be a focus to enhance the functional status in this group.

간판의 기능과 디자인 요소가 고객 선호도에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Function and Design Elements of Sign on Customer Preference)

  • Each municipality is promoting signboard improvement projects, but the effectiveness is not great. The main reason for this is that when the signboard is manufactured the location of the shop is only dependent on the visual aspiration effect and it is not harmonized with the building by applying uniform design. The signboard are installed almost everywhere in the city, such as residential, natural and commercial environments. And the signboard provides various services such as traffic information and life safety to customers. Also, by applying design and functional elements, we can enhance the competitiveness of companies and improve the urban environment by enhancing the mutual connection effect of customers and space. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of design elements and functional elements of the signboard on customer preference. In other words, we conducted surveys and analyzes of 152 specialists and non-experts (customers, self-employed). As a result of the study, the following conclusions were drawn. First, the functions and design elements of signboards are important factors that have a positive effect on customer preference. Second, the function of the signboard has a positive(+) influence on the customer preference, and the information providing function and the corporate image side function directly affect the customer preference. Third, color elements have a positive(+) meaningful effect on customer preference. Especially, similar color sign affects customer preference positively. Fourth, the signboard design component has a positive(+) significant effect on customer preference. In particular, typefaces have a positive effect on customer preference.

비전형적인 품질 요구사항을 고려한 실용적 소프트웨어 아키텍처 설계 기법 (Practical Software Architecture Design Methods for Non-Conventional Quality Requirements)

  • 소프트웨어 아키텍처는 비기능적 요구사항(Non-Functional Requirement, NFR), 즉 품질 요구사항과 제약사항을 만족시키는데 중요한 역할을 한다. 현재까지 진행된 대부부의 연구는 전형적인 NFR을 위한 아키텍처 설계 방법과 설계 택틱에 국한된다. 그러나, 목표 시스템에 특화된 비전형적인 NFR을 위한 설계 방법에 대한 연구는 많이 진행되고 있지 않고, 소프트웨어 아키텍트가 보유한 지식과 경험에 의해 비전형적인 NFR을 만족시킬 수 있는 효과적인 방법과 택틱을 유도하고 이를 기반으로 아키텍처를 설계한다. 그러므로, 비전형적인 NFR을 고려하여 아키텍처를 설계하는 효과적인 방법 및 택틱을 고안하는 것이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 비전형적인 NFR을 만족시키는 소프트웨어 아키텍처를 설계하는 효과적이며 체계적인 아키텍처 설계 방법론을 제안한다. 이 방법론은 전형적인 NFR을 고려한 아키텍처 설계에도 적용될 수 있다. 제안된 방법론은 5개의 스텝으로 구성된 프로세스, 각 스텝에 대한 상세 활동 지침을 포함한다. 그리고, 제안된 프로세스가 잘 설계되었음을 보이기 위해, 산출물 간의 추적성 관계를 확인한다. 마지막으로, 제안된 방법론의 효율성과 실용성을 평가하기 위해 사례 연구를 수행한 결과를 제시한다.

  • To increase the productivity and efficiency of an enterprise, all relevant product information should be provided to shop floor workers timely and in a unified form because shop floor workers are final consumers of most accumulated information generated from various departments of an enterprise. but, most existing enterprise information systems have an emphasis upon providing design/manufacturing information to office workers. Proposed in this study is a development of integrated design/manufacturing information system focused system, the function required for shop floor activities. For developing integrated information system, the functional required for shop floor are identified and analyzed. Based on the extracted functional requirements, object-oriented system design and implementation is conducted. By using this system, shop floor workers can refer to all relevant information necessary to their work easily and in a integrated form.

ISO 26262의 소프트웨어 설계원리 적용에 대한 검증 도구의 비교 연구 (Study on Comparison of Industrial Static Analysis Tools to Verify the Design Principles for Software Unit Design and Implementation of ISO 26262)

  • One of the activities to improve software quality in ISO 26262 is to apply the design principles for software unit design and implementation mentioned in ISO 26262-6, including the evaluation activity. Before evaluation activity, the tool is compared and selected for evaluation. Because the results of the tool a company selected might have an effect on product quality. In this paper, we suggest the method to compare industrial static analysis tools with some of "MISRA C : 2004 Exemplar Suite" and all lessons learned from comparing tools are described. The result on comparison shows that we just couldn't rely on a result of Static Analysis Tool and need to have another appropriate processes and guidelines to evaluate a software.

  • Communications Based Train Control(CBTC) is a continuous, automatic train control system utilizing high-resolution, train location determination independent of track circuits; continuous, high capacity, bi-directional train-to-wayside data communications; and trainborne and wayside processors capable of implementing vital functions. In this paper, we present a basic design of CBTC system based on ERTMS/ETCS specifications. The basic design is composed of system requirements analysis, system functional analysis, system architectural design, sub-system requirements analysis, sub-system functional analysis. Each deliverable has been produced according to a development process based on UML/SysML.

  • 국내 기술진이 참여하는 첫 정지궤도 위성인 통신해양기상위성은 통신 탑재체와 관측 탑재체를 동시에 장착하는 복합위성이다. 각 합재체 장착을 위한 고유한 특성 때문에 장비 및 센서들과 이들의 운용을 위한 전자박스들의 배치는 성공적인 임무 수행을 위해 필수적 이다. 본 논문에서는 기본설계 단계에서 수행된 기계 시스템 설계의 전반에 관한 내용을 기술하고, 최적화된 성과를 얻기 위해 고려된 설계 요건들에 대해 설명한다.

동시자기진단이 적용한 마이크로푸로세서의 하드웨어 구성에 관한연구 (A Design Approach to Concurrent Self-Diagnosable Microprocessor)

  • In this paper, a design approch is presented for a concurrent self-diagnosable microprocessor. An efficient diagnostic procedure to dynamically test the processor functional units decomposed by each insturction, concurrently with a program under execution is suggested. The basic goals of the proposed design approach are the low hardware overhead, no increase in the pin count and the minimal change of the initial design concepts on conventional microprocessors. The results of the performance of the suggested self-diagnosing hardware for an 8080 type microprocessor show that the suggested diagnosis scheme would be efficiently applicable, since diagnosing the processor functional units can be completed in a reasonably short time with the execution of an arbitrarily chosen sample program.
