Traffic engineering function consists of traffic management, capacity management and network planning. In this paper, we present the requirements for each functional traffic management, and also present functional and process model to efficiently to handle the traffic engineering for multimedia internet services. Finally, the traffic management methods for each step are described in detail.
The electrosorption of U(VI) from waste water was carried out by using an activated carbon fiber (ACF) felt electrode in a continuous electrosorption cell. In order to enhance the electrosorption capacity at a lower potential, the ACF was electrochemically modified in an acidic and a basic solution. Pore structure and functional groups of the electrochemically modified ACF were examined, and the effects of the modification conditions were studied for the adsorption of U(VI). Specific surface area of all the ACFs was decreased by this modification. The amount of the acidic functional groups decreased with a basic modification, while the amount increased a lot with an acidic modification. The electrosorption capacity of U(VI) decreased on the acid modified electrode due to the shielding effect of the acidic functional groups. The base modified electrode enhanced the capacity due to a reduction of the acidic functional groups. The electrosorption amount of U(VI) on the base modified electrode at .0.3 V corresponds to that of the as-received ACF electrode at .0.9 V. Such a good adsorption capacity was due to a reduction of the shielding effect and an increase of the hydroxyl ions in the electric double layer on the ACF surface by the application of negative potential.
The functional properties of mechanically deboned chicken meat(MDCM) from whole carcass, whole carcass without exsanguination, neck without skin, leg hone, and upper back and rib were studied. Also, the effects of adding different levels of gelatin and MDCM to the comminuted meats were investigated. Proximate composition values of MDCM ranged from 54.2 to 68.6% moisture, 14.5 to 19.7% protein, 12.3 to 30.1% fat, and 1.1 to 1.3% ash. The MDCM from leg hone had a higher content of fat, and a lower contents of moisture and protein. The MDCM from neck without skin tended to be opposite to the MDCM from leg hone. The total pigment and myoglobin levels were highest in MDCM from whole carcass without exsanguination such as 3.83 and 0.29 rng /g, and those from the other parts were 1.58~2.93 mg /g and 0. 17~0.31 mg /g, respectively. The emulsifying capacity and water holding capacity were highest in MDCM from neck without skin which contained lower levels of fat, collagen and hydroxyproline, but a higher level of salt soluble protein. The emulsifying capacity of comminuted meat decreased as gelatin content increased. The extractability of hydroxyproline from gelatin showed a higher solubility in acidic solution. The MDCM could he added up to 20% level without detrimentally affecting functional properties of comminuted meats although they had less water holding capacity and cooking loss as the proportion of MDCM increased.
This study sought to reduce the risk of fractures in elite youth taekwondo athletes to find out the relationship between bone mineral density which are used as indicators of early diagnosis of osteoporosis and cardiorespiratory functional capacity which is an indicator of performance and sports injury the harmful to athletes. The Pearson product-moment correlation was performed to investigate the correlation between bone mineral density, cardiorespiratory functional capacity, and sports injury. The bone mineral density and cardiorespiratory functional capacity, sports injury were examined the relationship using the Simple Linear Regression. The bone mineral density were correlated with the ventilation (r=.388), and VO2max (r=.478). Bone mineral density was correlated with sports injury (r=-.292). When the bone mineral density increased by .002 and .006, the ventilation (p=.001) and VO2max (p=.006) increased by about 1. In addition, when the bone mineral density decline by .016, the sports injury increased by about 1. Improving athletes' bone mineral density can prevent sports injury, and it can be used as a sports injury prevention program in the future.

Fuel assembly's mechanical characterization test facility (FAMeCT) in KAERI was constructed with upgraded functional features such as increased loading capacity, underwater vibration testing and severe earthquake simulation for extended fuel design guideline. This facility is designed and developed to provide out-pile fuel data for accident analysis model and fuel licensing. Functional tests of FAMeCT were performed to confirm functionality, structural integrity, and validity of newly-built fuel assembly mechanical test facility. Test program includes signal check of data acquisition system, load delivering capacity using real-sized fuel assemblies and a standard loading cylindrical rigid specimen. Fuel assembly's lateral bending test was carried out up to 30 mm of pull-out displacement. Limit case axial compression loading test up to 33 kN was performed to check structural integrity of UCPS (Upper Core Plate Simulator) support frame. Test results show that all test equipment and measurement system have acceptable range of alignment, signal to noise ratio, load carrying capacity limit without loss of integrity. This paper introduces newly constructed fuel assembly's mechanical test facility and summarizes results of functional test for the mechanical test equipment and data acquisition system.
We investigated the functional characteristics of commercial wood charcoal in Korea and their application as functional raw materials. The areas of analysis were anatomical features, elementary composition, mineral composition, caloric values, anion and far-infrared ray emission, and moisture absorption capacity. Based on the analyses as above mentioned, it is considered that charcoal can be evaluated as functional raw material. In commercial wood charcoal in Korea, there were highly varied depending on manufacturing methods as black charcoal, white charcoal and mechanical charcoal and manufactures for elementary composition, mineral composition, anion emission, far infrared ray emission. Especially, black charcoal showed lower moisture absorption capacity than white charcoal and mechanical charcoal. For charcoal as functional raw material, selective usage are needed based on the analyses of anatomical features, elementary composition, mineral composition, caloric values, anion and far-infrared ray emission, and moisture absorption capacity. Specific charcoal making methods for improving specific functionality, required as functional raw material, are necessary in further research.
The scope of this work investigates the relationship between the amount of oxygen-functional groups and hydrogen adsorption capacity with different concentrations of phosphoric acid. The amount of oxygen-functional groups of activated carbons (ACs) is characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The effects of chemical treatments on the pore structures of ACs are investigated by $N_2$/77 K adsorption isotherms. The hydrogen adsorption capacity is measured by $H_2$ isothermal adsorption at 298 K and 100 bar. In the results, the specific surface area and pore volume slightly decreased with the chemical treatments due to the pore collapsing behaviors, but the hydrogen storage capacity was increased by the oxygen-functional group characteristics of AC surfaces, resulting from enhanced electron acceptor-donor interaction at interfaces.
Surface functionalization of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) was carried out by means of acid treatment. The presence of oxygen functional groups on the surface of acid-treated MWNTs was confirmed with the aid of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray spectroscopy. In addition, carboxylic groups generally formed on the surface of acid-treated MWNTs, and the dispersion was increased by the duration of the acid treatment. The zeta-potential indicated the surface charge transfer and the dispersion of MWMTs. Morphological characteristics of acid-treated MWNTs were also observed using a transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and Raman analysis, which was revealed the significantly unchanged morphologies of MWNTs by acid treatment. The hydrogen adsorption capacity of the MWNTs was evaluated by means of adsorption isotherms at 77 K/1 atm. The hydrogen storage capacity was dependent upon the acid treatment conditions and the formation of oxygen functional groups on the MWNT surfaces. The latter have an important effect on the hydrogen storage capacity.
Background: Functional capacity evaluations (FCEs) are designed to systematically assess the capacity to perform work-related tasks and to determine worker's ability to return to the previous job following work-related injuries. These evaluations may be rated either by clinician or worker. There has been a lack of consensus between the two scoring methods. Objects: This study aimed: 1) to confirm if the data are fit to the Rasch rating scale model and 2) to investigate the item-level concordance rate between the ratings of clinician and injured worker of the FCE. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with a sample (n=124) of a rehabilitation program with the Occupational Rehabilitation Data Base for workers with low back pain. The functional capacity evaluation at admission and discharge was administered to clinicians and workers. The data were analyzed using both classical test theory-based Pearson's r and intra-class coefficient followed by item-level analysis with Rasch rating scale model. Results: All items of the FCE, except sitting items rated by clinician at admission and handling items rated by both clinician and worker throughout admission and discharge, were acceptable fit statistics with minor out of ranges for a misfit criterion. This may indicate that the items of the FCE overall fit to the Rasch rating scale model. Few problematic items responding differently to clinician and worker both at admission and discharge were detected with the differential item functioning analysis despite the excellent concordance rate using the two conventional statistics-sitting and handling items at admission and handling item at discharge. Conclusion: The item-level speculations using Rasch analysis of the FCE demonstrate that the ratings of clinician and self ratings of worker were psychometrically acceptable though there was an apparent discrepancy between the raters both at admission and discharge.

This study examined the effects of a multifaceted intervention program on the psychological condition, empowerment, work readiness, and functional capacity for job performance of industrially injured workers. Twelve injured workers in C hospital were included in this study. The subjects participated in a social rehabilitation program 2 hours a day, twice a week, for 8 weeks in total, as well as a work hardening program 3 to 4 hours a day, 5 times a week, for 8 weeks in total. The study was conducted from March to September, 2017. A multi-dimensional psychological examination, empowerment scale, work readiness interview and functional capacity evaluation were conducted and the test scores compared before and after the program with the Wilcoxon signed rank test. In the multi-dimensional psychological examination, there were significant differences in the levels of anxiety, depression, lack of social support, and somatization symptoms (p<.05) except anger. The participants also showed significant differences in the empowerment scale, work readiness scale, and functional capacity evaluation. This study suggests that a multifaceted intervention program can be effective in improving the psychologic condition, empowerment, work readiness, and functional capacity of industrially injured workers and, in turn, may improve their rate of returning to work.
