This study was to find out users' satisfaction on the dormitory of high school in Jeonju City and to propose it's physical environmental improvement directions. This was performed by a questionnaire survey method, and the questionnaire was designed by researchers considering relative literatures. Data were collected from 200 students, who had been dwelling 4 high school dormitories in Jeonju City. By analyzing those data, findings were as follows: 1) Users of students were satisfied the whole of their dormitory; facilities, spaces, and living. 2) They were highly concerned about a library and a personal unit space in their dormitory. 3) They needed their personal unit space to be designed bedroom+bathroom type with 2 persons' sharing and be equipped one story bed and desk furniture. Also, they needed improvement on heating & cooling, small space and indoor air quality of unit space. 4) The users' satisfaction on unit space were 2.88, and their satisfaction of the technical factor was 2.71 that was the lowest score in them. And The functional factor was highly effected their satisfaction. 5) The space utility and the space size of functional factor, the soundproof, the heating/ventilation and the indoor quality of technical factor, and the privacy of behavior factor were highly correlative to their satisfaction of unit space.

Background: It is difficult to completely fix nasal bone fractures with closed reduction, as it is often accompanied by septal cartilage damage, and this often results in postoperative secondary deformities. Thus, patients are often reluctant to undergo closed reduction surgery. The present study aimed to evaluate aesthetic and functional satisfaction, as well as satisfaction with and complications of closed reduction, according to nasal bone fracture type. Methods: The subjects were patients who underwent closed reduction under general anesthesia from January 2017 to December 2018. Based on the modified Murray classification, patients were classified into five groups according to the fracture site, septal fracture, and deviation. A total of 211 patients were sent a web-based survey on postoperative satisfaction and complications, as well as intention for revision and cosmetic surgery. Sixty-one patients (28.9%) responded. Results: There were no significant differences in aesthetic and functional satisfaction or satisfaction with closed reduction according to the fracture type, site, or severity. Postoperative functional complications developed in 14 of 61 patients (22.95%). With 10 out of 24 (41.67%) patients (p = 0.044), the bilateral fracture with septal fracture or prominent septal deviation type had a higher incidence of complications than the other types. Conclusion: The incidence of complications is higher for bilateral fracture with septal fracture or prominent septal deviation compared to the other nasal bone fracture types. Therefore, long-term follow-up after closed reduction surgery for this fracture type can aid in establishing additional postoperative treatment plans and improving patient satisfaction.

Suitability for the human body, freedom to move and thermal insulation are important design considerations in military clothing. This study investigates the performance and wearer-satisfaction of the functional inner winter uniform currently used in Korea; it is hoped that our data can inform the development of a future version. Interviews were conducted, in which the participants suggested various improvements. The uniforms were mainly worn for guard duty or as daily attire in cold weather. The participants chose how many layers to wear according to the current situation, rather than sticking to the layering recommended in the manual. Layering choices did not significantly affect combat efficiency but were found to affect wearers' comfort. Wearers' satisfaction was found to depend on the convenience of the clothing, whether it was in the appropriate size, freedom to move and thermal insulation. Also, this study suggests a problem with the current size system, as the analysis of size distribution, across all sizes, the range of current production is insufficient to cover the demand.
The result of this study suggests that students' perception of service value is related to functional value with regard to need and satisfaction, epistemic value, image, emotional value, functional value with regard to price and quality, and social value. Specifically female students give less importance to epistemic value than their male counterparts. Students in the 2nd grade gave less favorable scores to the functional value with regard to need and satisfaction, epistemic value, image, emotional value and functional value with regard to price and quality than students in the 1st grade. Students in the night class gave less scores to epistemic value and functional value with regard to price and quality than students in the day class. It is confirmed that the difference between groups by the period in school is in functional value with regard to need and satisfaction, image, emotional value, and functional value with regard to price and quality. And it is also revealed that these results are similar to the results of analysis by the grade. In conclusion college operators should not overemphasize that the department of Hotel culinary arts occupies the leading position of the culinary academic world in Korea and the firms of food service industry positively evaluate the department of Hotel culinary arts, and in order to cope with the rapidly changing environment of the culinary education consistent investment constant changes and of efforts should not be stopped. On one hand the teaching staff of the department of Hotel culinary arts should reconsider their original role, and need behavior and practice to fill their deficiency with steady efforts in terms of students' perceived service value. In addition the students of the department of Hotel culinary arts should not be shackled by the past tradition, should not take a pessimistic view of the present situation, should not take an optimistic view of the future, and should always cultivate their ability to provide for the future.
Studying awareness, importance, satisfaction, and wearing behavior of functional textiles for active silver generation related with gender and age is expected to contribute to clothing products development to improve and maintain their health and marketing strategy fit for user characteristics. For empirical research, a survey was developed and the aged 50 and above were 332 respondents. The results of the study are as follows. First, silver generation considered all the clothing comfort sensations important when wearing clothes, such as tactile sensation, clothing pressure sensation, thermal/wet sensation, and motion sensation in human physiological aspect. Also, stretchy fabrics were ranked first in awareness, the number of wearing times, and satisfaction of comfort functional fabrics. More than 30% of silver generation have fifteen items out of 36 functional clothes. Second, in analysis of awareness by gender on functional clothing products, women were more aware of health/safety-oriented fabrics than men were. Otherwise, men had more knowledge about the water-related properties of functional fabrics than women have, such as water/moisture absorptive and water-repellent/vapor permeable fabrics. While women have more indoor casual wear, men had more active sportswear. Also, women expressed a strong preference to the stretchy function of fabrics.

Background In esthetic surgery, understanding the factors that influence patient satisfaction is important for successful practice. We hypothesize that the factors that influence patient satisfaction include not only aesthetic and functional outcomes, but also personal factors such as the level of familiarity with factors affecting wound healing and expectations regarding aesthetic outcome. Methods One hundred patients who underwent esthetic closure after thyroidectomy were included in this study. In order to evaluate the individual characteristics of the patients, a preoperative survey was administered to the patients. We estimated the patient satisfaction six months postoperatively and assessed the aesthetic and functional outcomes using the Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale. Results According to the results of correlation analysis, level of familiarity with wound healing factors had a positive correlation with satisfaction. High expectations, pain, itching, and high observer scale score had negative correlations with satisfaction. The factors that were correlated with satisfaction were included in the multiple regression analysis. Level of familiarity with wound healing factors was found to have a positive relationship with satisfaction, while itching and observer scale were found to have a negative relationship with satisfaction. After excluding 10 patients who had hypertrophic scars, only level of familiarity with wound healing factors and expectations affected satisfaction. Conclusions The level of familiarity with factors affecting wound healing and expectations were found to independently affect satisfaction. Improving patients' level of familiarity with wound healing factors and reducing their expectations by providing suitable preoperative education has the potential to improve patient satisfaction.
There is a demand for a complex cultural space of play, leisure and education, a kids cafe, which will replace a playground just for kids as awareness for the need of a space where parents can spend leisure time with their own children and can take a rest grows, Thus, this study aims to find features for user satisfying kids cafes by conducting observations of the kids cafes and user survey. This study selected 12 kids cafes, 3 kids cafes per type (play focused, cafe or restaurant focused, education focused, multipurpose focused), in Seoul which were built after 2007 and conducted surveys on space planning and spatial characteristics by users and types and the level of satisfaction. As a result, the play focused kids cafes are used the most and the multipurpose focused kids cafes are used the second most. So the reason for using kids cafes is for the play of children. Also the overall satisfaction level for kid cafes were above the average except for the price. The result of this study showed that there was differences of satisfaction based on the type of user satisfaction, size of children space, finishes, colors, furniture and accessories, sanitary conditions. For the overall satisfaction, users were satisfied with the interior space, however, users were unsatisfied with functional parts, such as toys, foods and educational program. The results of the analysis showed that based on the types of the kids cafes, users' satisfaction rate for space size for the children, finishes, colors, furniture and accessories, sanitary conditions were different and for the functional parts, the satisfaction rate was different in all aspects. Also, in overall, the educational focused type users showed higher satisfaction rate than other users. Finally, the level of satisfaction is different by type of kids cafes and we have to consider the level of satisfaction of the users in order to plan kids cafes which meet the demand of the users.
On 1 July 2000, as the over-65 year-old population numbered 3,371,000 and accounted for over 7.1% of Korea's total population, an aging society was revealed. The over-65 percentage climbed to 11.0% by late 2010. A truly aged society is expected soon, by 2019. This aging society requires marketing research concerning the consumer behaviour and well-being of the elderly, because the 'silver generation' is emerging as a large part of the consumer market. The purpose of this study is to empirically analyse one effect among several satisfaction factors in the consuming cycle of various health functional products on consumer's well-being and the effect of product knowledge on the relationship between product satisfaction and well-being. To achieve this purpose, we established a research model after reviewing previous studies on product satisfaction, product knowledge, and consumer's well-being. The following hypotheses were developed from the research model. Hypothesis 1: When elderly consumers' satisfaction with health functional products increases, their well-being will increase. Hypothesis 2: The effect of their satisfaction with health functional products on their well-being will be strengthened according to the level of their knowledge of the products. Those hypotheses were tested by multiple and moderated regressions to the empirical data through a questionnaire survey. As a result, Hypothesis 1 was totally adopted, and Hypothesis 2 was only partially adopted. The study has many practical implications for well-being marketing. First, in order to heighten the elderly consumer's well-being, the level of his or her satisfaction with the health functional products has to be raised in every stage: during the acquisition, preparation, use, maintenance, and disposition of the consumption cycle. Moreover, promoting positive emotional experiences while diminishing negative ones requires effort because a consumer's well-being is made up of various needs. Second, the marketing of health functional products should be invigorated in order to raise the level of elderly consumers' knowledge of them. In other words, it is important to give them an expertise in the health functional products through different channels. A statistical analysis showed, however, that their knowledge has a decisive effect on only two satisfaction stages, preparation and maintenance. Nevertheless, this merely confirmed the intuitive assumption that the knowledge of health functional products is most relevant to their preparation and maintenance. In conclusion, this study is timely because few empirical studies exist on the relationships between silver consumer behaviour and well-being marketing. It contributes to our understanding of this subject by revealing the causality between the silver consumer's satisfaction and his or her well-being in the consumption cycle and by discovering the moderating influence of knowledge in that process.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of banking service quality on consumer satisfaction and positive word-of-mouth. A total of 330 bank consumers were investigated between Sept. 11 and Oct. 11, 2006. After sorting through the data, the responses of 299 consumer ( > 24 yrs old) were used for analysis. SERVPERF, the performance component of the Service Quality scale (SERVQUAL), was used to measure the four dimensions of reliability, responsiveness/empathy, assurance, and tangibles. Responses were partitioned by age and gender. The major findings were as follows; The effect of service quality by SERVPERF on consumer satisfaction and positive word-of-mouth did not differ according to gender. However, positive recommendation in males was directy related to the technical quality evaluate. In females, higher the functional quality evaluate was directly related to higher positive word-of-mouth recommendation. The effect of service quality by SERVPERF on consumer satisfaction was not revealed differently according to age. However, with respect to respondents under the age of 45, tangibles and assurance had a positive relationship with word-of-mouth recommendation. Furthermore, the higher the functional quality evaluate, the higher the level of positive word-of-mouth. Responsiveness/empathy was the most significant factor on positive word-of-mouth recommendation in respondents over the age of 45. In this age group, the higher the technical quality evaluate, the higher the level of positive word-of-mouth recommendation. These results have implications for banking service managers, particularly in improving service quality to increase consumer satisfaction and positive word-of-mouth. Future research is needed to replicate this study using more broad and representative samples in order to test the generalization of these findings.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the value perception of ecotourism on the behavioral intention and satisfaction of university students. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that all ecotourism value recognition factors, such as cognitive value, emotional value, and functional value, had a positive(+) effect on satisfaction. Second, it was found that all ecotourism recognition factors, such as cognitive value, emotional value, and functional value, had a positive(+) effect on behavioral intention. These results show that the higher the awareness of ecotourism is, the higher the satisfaction and behavioral intentions of ecotourism are, but the functional value made up of services, quality, and programs has relatively less influence than other factors. Therefore, various marketing strategies and educational programs such as the development of accessible weekend products and development of sustainable light-emitting products that can respond to each ecotourism value recognition factor that affects the ecotourism product satisfaction and behavior intention should be developed.
