차세대 함정 전투체계 아키텍처 구축방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development direction of Next-generation Naval Combat System Architecture)

  • A naval combat system is the system of systems who supports naval indigenous operations by integrating and inter-operating many different kind of weapons, which has characteristics of large scale complex computing system. ROK Navy has been built a blue ocean navy, so that large scale warships are under constructions. However, warship combat system architecture has not been well studied so far in Korea. The paper focuses on current combat system architecture and propose the next generation combat system architecture, which will give the development direction of ROK Navy. In order to complete combat system architecture studies, the system engineering process shall be applied to the study. Moreover, ARENA simulation tool is used for verification of combat system architecture. The system engineering process is as follows: next-generation naval combat system requirement analysis, functional architecture analysis and physical architecture analysis.

  • 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기반 인프라가 확산됨에 따라, 서비스 프로바이더는 온-디맨드 방식의 서비스 배포가 가능해졌다. 최근 클라우드형 인프라의 자원 확장성 효율을 극대화하기 위해 마이크로 서비스 구조가 주목받고 있다. 모든 서비스 기능을 하나의 소프트웨어로 구현하는 대신 필요한 서비스를 효율적으로 설계된 Application Programming Interface (API)를 통해 연동함으로써 쉽고 자율적으로 구현할 수 있고, 기능의 요구사항에 맞는 프로그래밍 언어, 소프트웨어, 기능구조를 자유로이 정할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 마이크로 서비스 구조를 기반으로 가상 인프라 매니저 서비스를 설계하고 제안된 구조가 부하에 따라 효율적으로 스케일링이 가능함을 실험을 통해 검증한다.

Composition of the Multi-Purposed Emotional Space for Activating Idle Offices in Original Urban Block

  • This study focuses on the human-centered diversity that is one of the important value in modern society, and the method to apply various demands for architectural space. Human begins pursue new contents and leisurely life all the time and live toward the period of high emotion with personal characteristics. With those social trends, people aggressively request subjects to satisfy their emotional attractiveness as well as comforts and pleasures beyond the functional basic requirements in space. Many studies and projects about emotion have been progressed in the fields of architectural planning and design these days. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to suggest the Multi-Purposed Emotional Space as a new alternative of space renewal that satisfy both functional programs and users emotional demands. Method: For this research, the pervious researches were investigated first to determine essential methodology and terminology to estimate and construct the multi-purposed emotional space. Result: According to survey, the multi-purposed emotional space could finally be classified by emotional words, and the results of experiment were applied for building spaces. By the above process, types of the multi-purposed emotional space and design guidelines could be suggested.

운영단계 안전중시시스템에서 제기되는 설계변경요구에 대해 아키텍처 DB의 추적성을 통한 변경프로세스의 개선 (On Coping with the Design Change Request by Utilizing DB Traceability in the Operational Phase of Safety-critical Weapon Systems)

  • The environment and requirements of modern war fields have been affected and thus changed by a variety of issues. To this end, the development of safety-critical weapon systems frequently need to meet those changes even in the operational phase. The necessity of the changes may be due to the preparation for mass-production or the request originated from the user military forces. To meet such a need can be even tougher in the development of safety-critical weapon systems since the integration of the requirements for both systems design and systems safety would make it troublesome. To handel the matter in this paper, utilization of architecture DB is proposed. Specifically, the situation in demand has first been analyzed and then a problem-solving process to accommodate the design changes has been constructed. In doing so, the concept of the aforementioned integration is particularly focused on the functional architecture, which could be a core concept of our approach to solving the problem. The result of a case study demonstrating the method studied using a computer-aided systems engineering tool is also presented.

조직공학용 세포담체 제작을 위한 플라즈마-표면개질이 포함된 바이오프린팅 시스템 (A 3D bioprinting system and plasma-surface modification to fabricate tissue engineering scaffolds)

  • The achievement of tissue engineering can be highly depending on the capability to generate complicated, cell seeded three dimensional (3D) micro/nano-structures. So, various fabrication techniques that can be used to precisely design the architecture and topography of scaffolding materials will signify a key aspect of multi-functional tissue engineering. Previous methods for obtaining scaffolds based on top-down are often not satisfactory to produce complex micro/nano-structures due to the lack of control on scaffold architecture, porosity, and cellular interactions. However, a bioprinting method can be used to design sophisticated 3D tissue scaffolds that can be engineered to mimic the tissue architecture using computer aided approach. Also, in recent, the method has been modified and optimized to fabricate scaffolds using various natural biopolymers (collagen, alginate, and chitosan etc.). Variation of the topological structure and polymer concentration allowed tailoring the physical and biological properties of the scaffolds. In this presentation, the 3D bioprinting supplemented with a newly designed plasma treatment for attaining highly bioactive and functional scaffolds for tissue engineering applications will be introduced. Moreover, various in vivo and in vitro results will show that the fabricated scaffolds can carry out their structural and biological functionality.

유럽의 주택전시회를 통해 본 주거건축 계획의 시대적 쟁점 - 1920-30년대 공작연맹주최 주택전시회에서 제시된 새로운 평면개념을 중심으로 - (A View of Contemporary Issues of Housing Architecture in the European Housing Exhibition -Focused on the Floorplan Concepts of Werkbund Housing in the 20's-30's-)

  • The Werkbund housing exhibitions in Europe in the 20's and 30's presented various planning concepts and played a important roll for modernization of housing Architecture. This study, therefore, aims to understand the contemporary issues of housing in this period, which showed the meaningful momentum for housing plans today. In order to grasp the general characteristics of exhibition housing the representative cases -Weissenhofsiedlung, Dammerstock, Breslausiedlung, Werkbund Siedlung in $Z\"{u}rich-Neub\"{u}hl$, Werkbundsiedlung Wien und BaBa- were throught documents analyzed. The architects offered an innovative building typology such as row housing and new prototype of housing units accordingly social needs. Especially, In this study housing unitplans were in 6 groups such as flexible type, cabin type, free open plan, Raumplan, functional 2-story type and corridor type categorized. And they were analyzed how deeply technological development, architectural design perceptions as well as functional aspects had on the planning of floorplans reflected. As a result, in the housing exhibitions various architectural ideas presented the "Zeitgeist" not only such as improvement of physical environment of housing, but also such as rationalization, standardization, functionalization, normalization of housing architecture. Also their unitplans corresponded to newly developed building typology and modern household type. As well as they represented notable spatial concepts. Moreover it contributed to create a new paradigm of housing for the new epoch.

A Study on the Convergence of Tradition and Modernity in the Great Mosque of Algiers in Algeria

  • This study examined the political, social, and historical characteristics of the Great Mosque of Algiers, alongside its functional, spatial, and symbolic aspects. Generally, mosques are buildings where religious expression is profoundly intense, making it challenging to apply new types and designs. However, the Great Mosque of Algiers successfully inherits traditional Islamic features while simultaneously embodying modernity at an international level. The results of the multifaceted analysis of the convergence of tradition and modernity in this contemporary architectural work are as follows: First, through research on Islamic architecture, the study identified the functional and spatial characteristics expressed in Islamic buildings. In particular, the study highlighted the features of the Külliye as a multi-use building complex and provided a detailed analysis of symbolic elements such as minarets, domes, ablution facilities, and mihrabs, which are strongly emphasized in mosques where religious features are prominently displayed. Second, the analysis of the Great Mosque of Algiers' architectural plan explored the inte-gration of tradition and modernity. Traditional elements are akin to the identity of the building and contribute to its overall value. Third, by examining the development process of the Great Mosque of Algiers project, the study analyzed the international cooperation required in the modern era, understanding the hybrid nature of this architectural project.

통합함정컴퓨팅환경(TSCE) 기반 차세대 구축함 체계통합 구현 방법: 아키텍처 구현 및 작전효율성·승조원 최적화를 중심으로 (TSCE-based System Integration Methodology for Next Generation Destroyer)

  • This study proposes a construction plan for the Korea Navy's next-generation TSCE(Total Ship Computing Environment) based destroyers to address rapidly evolving maritime threats and decreasing military manpower. It focuses on system integrated ship construction based on TSCE for quick response time with fewer operators, improving the efficiency of systems and Equipments installed in the ship. The methodology includes analyzing TSCE-based system integration theories and levels. also analyze system integration in U.S. Navy's Zumwalt destroyers and Littoral Combat Ships, conducting expert surveys to build consensus on system integration methods, proposing operational efficiency improvements through TSCE-based system integration. Additionally, we propose an architecture of TSCE with real time OA(Open Architecture) from both functional and physical perspectives, verified through Python simulations. The study suggests optimal crew sizes for next-generation destroyers through comparative analysis of TSCE based integration types. It emphasizes the importance of system integration in naval ship construction, presenting specific measures to enhance operational efficiency and optimize crew operations. The findings are expected to contribute significantly to enhance the future naval capabilities of the Korea Navy.

오프사이트건설(Off-site Construction) 운반 시스템을 위한 핵심기능 도출 및 시스템 기능 전개도 개발 (Towards a Transportation Support System for Off-site Construction : Identifying Key Functions and Diagramming Functional Blocks)

  • 기존 건설업은 타 산업 분야에 비해 생산성이 낮은 산업에 분류된다. 건설업의 생산성 저하를 해결하고자 전 세계적으로 기존 건설 방식보다 약 40% 생산성이 높은 오프사이트 건설(Off-Site Construction; OSC)에 집중하고 있다. 이러한 높은 생산성이 가능한 이유는 공장에서의 부재를 생산, 현장으로의 운반, 현장 조립 3단계를 연속적인 흐름으로 일관되게 유지하기 때문에 가능하다. 본 연구는 문헌고찰, 1차 사전 현장답사, 2차 온라인 설문, 3차 전문가 심층인터뷰를 통해서 기능조사를 수행하였다. 조사된 기능의 항목들을 편의성, 유연성, 관리 용이성, 의사소통, 안전성 5가지로 분류하였으며, 해당 기능특성에서는 유연성, 관리 용이성, 의사소통이 높은 점수를 나타내었다. 이는 건설현장의 공사 진행에 따른 변화, 공장의 생산일정, 운반 소요시간과 같은 다양성으로 인해 유연성, 관리 용이성, 의사소통이 중요한 기능특성으로 반환된 것으로 판단된다. 마지막으로 설문 조사된 기능 점수 결과에서 평균 점수 4점 이상에 해당된 기능 15개를 바탕으로 Functional Block Diagram을 구성하였다. 본 연구를 통해 OSC 운반 시스템이 구축된다면 성공적인 건설 OSC 프로젝트에 기여하고, 생산성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
