강원도 일부지역의 영양섭취실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on Nutrient Intakes in Kang Won Province)

  • The survey was conducted for the period from 25 th to 29 th July, 1990. The survey area were selected the mountain area in Kang Won Province. Intake of foods and nutrients of all members in the households surveyed by means of questionnaire was computed based on number of meals a day. On the other hand, daily intake of nutrients by an individual was calculated by sex, age and type of work based on the conversion rate of RDA (Korean Recommended Dietary Allowances for Adult). 1. Status of food intake. The average food intake per person per day in surveyed area was 1103.49 g. The total intake of food was consisted of 44.17% grains, 23.31% vegetables, 10.66% fruits, respectively. These findings led us to the conclusion that people in the surveyed area depended heavily on plant foods. 2. Status of nutrient intake, 1) The average intake of Calorie was 2567.54 Cal Per day, which was slightly higher than 2500 Cal of RDA. 2) The average Intake of protein was 82.92g per day, which was higher than 70g of RDA. Though the quantity was above the RDA, it was largely from plant foods 3) The average intake of calcium was 383.93 mg per day, which was much lower than 500 mg of RDA. 4) The average intake of iron was 11.88 me per day, which was nearly the same quantity as 10 mg of RDA. 5) Intake of vitamin group were high among the inhabitants than recommended by RDA 3. The Kinds of food intake The kinds of food intake in surveyed area were totally 66 different kinds. 4. Economic status. As for the education level, almost of the food handlers finished the primary school and the average monthly income was 364,600 in surveyed area. Households used gas(100%) for fuel.

디젤 인젝터 분사율 예측을 위한 AMESim 기반 1-D 모델 구축 (1-D Model to Estimate Injection Rate for Diesel Injector using AMESim)

  • Recently, 1-D model-based engine development using virtual engine system is getting more attention than experimental-based engine development due to the advantages in time and cost. Injection rate profile is the one of the main parameters that determine the start and end of combustion. Therefore, it is essential to set up a sophisticated model to accurately predict the injection rate as starting point of virtual engine system. In this research, procedure of 1-D model setup based on AMESim is introduced to predict the dynamic behavior and injection rate of diesel injector. As a first step, detailed 3D cross-sectional drawing of the injector was achieved, which can be done with help of precision measurement system. Then an approximate AMESim model was provided based on the 3D drawing, which is composed of three part such as solenoid part, control chamber part and needle and nozzle orifice part. However, validation results in terms of total injection quantity showed some errors over the acceptable level. Therefore, experimental work including needle movement visualization, solenoid part analysis and flow characteristics of injector part was performed together to provide more accuracy of 1-D model. Finally, 1-D model with the accuracy of less than 10% of error compared with experimental result in terms of injection quantity and injection rate shape under normal temperature and single injection condition was established. Further work considering fuel temperature and multiple injection will be performed.

소형 4행정사이클 무과급 디이젤 기관의 성능 시뮤레이션 전산프로그램의 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on the development of simulation program for the small naturally aspirated four-stroke diesel engine)

  • Since 1973, the competition on the development of fuel saving type internal combustion engines has become severe by the two times oil shock, and new type engines are reported every several months. Whenever these new type engines are developed, new designs are required and they will be offered in the market after performing the endurance test for a long time. But the engine market is faced with a heavy burden of finance, as the developing of a new engine requires tremendous expenses. For this reason, the computer simulation method has been lately developed to cope with it. The computer simulation method can be available to perform the reasonable research works by the theoretical analysis before carrying out practical experiments. With these processes, the developing expenses are cut down and the period of development is curtailed. The object of this study is the development of simulation computer program for the small naturally aspirated four-stroke diesel engine which is intended to product by the original design of our country. The process of simulation is firstly investigated for the ideal engine cycle, and secondly for the real engine cycle. In the ideal engine cycle, each step of the cycle is simulated by the energy balance according to the first law of thermodynamics, and then the engine performance is calculated. In the real cycle imulation program, the injection rate, the preparation rate and the combustion rate of fuel and the heat transfer through the wall of combustion chamber are considered. In this case, the injection rate is supposed as constant through the crank angle interval of injection and the combustion rate is calculated by the Whitehouse-Way equation and the heat transfer is calculated by the Annand's equation. The simulated values are compared with measured values of the YANMAR NS90(C) engine and Mitsubishi 4D30 engine, and the following conclusions are drawn. 1. The heat loss by the exhaust gas is well agree with each other in the lower load, but the measured value is greater than the calculated value in the higher load. The maximum error rate is about 15% in the full load. 2. The calculated quantity of heat transfer to the cooling water is greater than the measured value. The maximum error rate is about 11.8%. 3. The mean effective pressure, the fuel consumption, the power and the torque are well agree with each other. The maximum error is occurred in the fuel consumption, and its error rate is about 7%. From the above remarks, it may be concluded that the prediction of the engine performance is possibly by using the developed program, although the program needs to reform by adding the simulation of intake and exhaust process and assumping more reliable mechanical efficiency, volumetric efficiency, preparation rate and combustion rate.

LEAP 모형을 이용한 연료전지 열병합발전설비 도입에 따른 온실가스배출저감 잠재량 분석 (Study of fuel cell CHP-technology on electricity generation sector using LEAP-model)

  • 우리나라는 에너지 절약 및 온실가스 배출저감 기술 중 하나로써 소형 열병합 발전과 소형 연료전지 열병합 발전을 연구해 왔으며 정책적으로 이를 보급하려고 한다. 기존의 석탄화력발전설비, 복합화력발전설비, 석유 화력발전설비를 열병합 발전설비로 대체하는 시나리오를 작성하여 에너지소비량과 온실가스 배출량의 변화추이를 에너지 경제 모델인 LEAP (Long-range Energy Alternative Planning system)을 이용하여 정량적으로 분석하였다. 2019년을 기준으로 열병합 발전설비를 석탄화력발전설비와 교체하였을 경우, 온실가스 배출량이 약 6.34%가 감소하였고 복합화력발전설비와 교체하였을 경우, 온실가스 배출량이 약 0.8%가 증가하였으나 열병합발전설비의 열생산량을 고려해주면 배출량이 감소하는 경향을 보일 것으로 사료된다. 석유화력발전설비를 열병합발전설비로 대체할 경우, 온실가스 배출량이 약 0.8% 감소할 것으로 예상된다.

  • 세계적인 배출가스 규제의 강화와 함께 화석 연료의 매장량 감소와 유가 상승은 새로운 엔진 기술 개발을 촉진시켰다. 가솔린 직접 분사(GDI; Gasoline Direct Injection) 엔진은 연료를 직접 연소실에 공급하고 정밀한 연소제어를 통해 공연비가 희박한 혼합 상태에서도 연소가 가능하게 하였는데, 이러한 방식은 기존 포트 분사 엔진보다 연비와 출력을 모두 향상시킬 수 있다. 하지만 GDI엔진은 디젤 엔진의 경우와 마찬가지로 soot 발생률이 높아짐에 따라 입자상 물질의 배출이 증대되는 문제를 안고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해소하고자 본 연구에서는 가솔린 입자상 물질 필터(GPF; Gasoline Particulate Filter)를 개발하여 입자상 물질의 배출정도를 저감시키고자 하였다. 필터의 설계 효율에 따라 3가지의 Metal foam 필터와 단일 Metal fiber 필터를 실험에 적용하여 PM과 PN의 저감률을 비교하였다.

경수로 사용 후 핵연료 내 요오드 정량 (Determination of Iodide in spent PWR fuels)

  • 사용 후 핵연료의 화학특성 연구를 위하여 요오드의 분리와 정량에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 사용 후 핵연료를 용해시키는 과정에서 핵연료 중에 CsI로 존재하는 요오드가 $I_2$로 산화되어 휘발되지 않도록 질산과 염산의 혼합산 (80:20 mol%)을 이용하여 비휘발성 ${IO_3}^-$­로 안정화시켰다. 2.5 M $HNO_3$ 매질에서 $NH_2OH{\cdot}HCl$을 이용하여 $I_2$로 환원시킨 후 사염화탄소로 추출하여 우라늄과 핵분열생성물로부터 분리, 회수하였다. 0.1 M $NaHSO_3$을 사용하여 요오드를 역추출하였으며 수용액층으로 회수된 요오드를 이온 크로마토그래피로 정량하였다. 방사성 물질 분석에 적합한 이온 크로마토그래피/차폐 시스템을 구성하였으며 42,000~44,000 MWd/MtU 의 연소도를 갖는 사용후핵연료를 대상으로 요오드를 분석한 결과 Origin 2 연소도 전산코드에 의한 계산결과인 $324.5{\sim}343.6{\mu}g/g$와는 -8.3~-0.5%의 편차를 나타내었다.

  • 국가 온실가스를 산정, 보고, 검정을 관장하는 온실가스종합정보센터가 2010년에 출범된 후, 주요 업무의 집합체인 국가 온실가스 인벤토리 보고서가 2012년부터 해마다 발간되었다. 보고서에는 부문별 온실가스 배출량 및 불확도가 보고되고 있지만, 대부분의 부문에서 불확도의 기입은 단순히 IPCC 가이드라인의 기본값으로 대체되고 있는 실정이다. IPCC 가이드라인은 부문별 온실가스 배출량을 산정함에 있어 Tier 수준에 따른 구체적인 산정식을 제시하고 있지만, 불확도의 경우 확률밀도함수 추정 또는 몬테카를로 방법 등을 적용한 국가고유 방법론의 개발을 권고하고 있다. 도로교통부문도 배출량이 Tier 1수준으로 산정되고 있지만 불확도는 보고되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 도로교통부문에서 일반자가용자동차대형을 대상으로 활동자료인 연간 주행거리, 연비 그리고 배출계수를 이용하여 연간 배출량을 산정하는데 국한하지 않고 불확도 산정에 적용되는 여러 통계적 기법 중에 한 가지인 붓스트랩 및 몬테카를로 방법을 소개하는데 있다.

Hydrogen Storage Properties of Pure MgH2

  • The hydrogen storage properties of pure $MgH_2$ were studied and compared with those of pure Mg. At the first cycle, pure $MgH_2$ absorbed hydrogen very slowly at 573 K under 12 bar $H_2$. The activation of pure $MgH_2$ was completed after three hydriding-dehydriding cycles. At the $4^{th}$ cycle, the pure $MgH_2$ absorbed 1.55 wt% H for 5 min, 2.04 wt% H for 10 min, and 3.59 wt% H for 60 min, showing that the activated $MgH_2$ had a much higher initial hydriding rate and much larger $H_a$ (60 min), quantity of hydrogen absorbed for 60 min, than did activated pure Mg. The activated pure Mg, whose activation was completed after four hydriding-dehydriding cycles, absorbed 0.80 wt% H for 5 min, 1.25 wt% H for 10 min, and 2.34 wt% H for 60 min. The particle sizes of the $MgH_2$ were much smaller than those of the pure Mg before and after hydriding-dehydriding cycling. The pure Mg had larger hydrogen quantities absorbed at 573K under 12 bar $H_2$ for 60 min, $H_a$ (60 min), than did the pure $MgH_2$ from the number of cycles n = 1 to n = 3; however, the pure $MgH_2$ had larger $H_a$ (60 min) than did the pure Mg from n = 4 to n = 6.

핫셀 방사성 고체폐기물 감용 (Volume Reduction of the Radioactive Solid Wastes in Hot Cell)

  • 국내 원자력 산업의 급속한 성장과 더불어 하나로 시설의 본격적인 가동 및 핵연료주기시험과 관련한 연구의 증가로 인하여 방사성폐기물의 발생량 및 누적량이 지속적으로 증가될 전망이며, 이에 따라 방사성폐기물의 안전성 확보 및 감용 처리를 위한 노력이 더욱 강조되고 있다. 조사후시험시설에서는 원자력발전소에서 발생하는 사용후핵연료봉의 결함원인 규명과 건전성 평가를 위한 조사후시험을 수행하고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 조사후시험시설에 설치되어 있는 방사성고체폐기물 처리설비를 활용하여 조사후시험에서 발생하는 폐기물의 압축, 파쇄, 절단기술 및 경험사례에 대하여 기술하였다. 고준위 방사성고체폐기물 처리는 특수 제작하여 핫셀에 설치되어 있는 100톤 압축기로 방사성고체폐기물을 압축하여 폐기물의 양을 1/12정도로 감용 처리하였으며, 중ㆍ저 위 방사성고체폐기물은 인터벤션에 설치된 60톤 압축기를 사용하여 가연성폐기물을 1/8정도로 압축 감용 처리하였다. 폐플라스틱 통은 파쇄기를 사용하여 절단처리 함으로써 1/5, 폐 필터는 1/6의 감용 비를 얻었으며, 비 가연성물질인 금속류 물질 또한 절단 처리하여 드럼의 양을 줄일 수 있었다.

마이크로웨이브에 의한 하수 슬러지 이산화탄소 가스화 특성 (Characteristics of Carbon Dioxide Gasification for Sewage Sludge in Microwave)

  • A characteristics of microwave drying-gasification was analyzed for converting a dewatered sewage sludge generated a wastewater treatment plant. Gas (60%) was the largest component of the product of microwave gasification, followed by sludge char (33%) and tar (2%). The main components of the producer gas were hydrogen (33%) and carbon monoxide (40%), and there was some methane and hydrocarbons ($C_2H_4$, $C_2H_6$, $C_3H_8$). Larger nitrogen and smaller oxygen amounts were generated. Gravimetric tar generated $414g/m^3$. This means a total tar which is a heavy hydrocarbons from the volatile organic substance in the sewage sludge. Selected light tars were benzene, anthracene, naphthalene, pyrene, showing lower concentrations as 2.62, 0.37, 0.49, $0.28g/m^3$, respectively. Sludge char has larger meso pores which is a mean pore size of $50.85{\AA}$ and has high adsorptivity. An amount of adsorption was $228.71cm^3/g$, showing higher quantity than acommercial adsorbers. This indicates that the gas obtained from the microwave gasification of wet sewage sludge can be used as fuel, but the heavy tar in the gas must be treated. Sludge char can be used as a tar reduction adsorbent in the process, and then burns as a solid fuel.
