한라봉의 소비자 선호도 조사를 통한 객관적 품질등급 기준 설정 (Setting the Hallabong Tangor's Quality Standards based on Consumer Preference Survey)

  • 본 연구는 한라봉의 소비자 선호도 조사를 통하여 객관적인 품질등급 기준을 설정하는데 있다. 지금까지 한라봉의 품질등급은 선과기를 이용한 크기에 따른 상품 구별과, 농 감협과 일부 영농 법인에서 비파괴 선과기를 이용하여 선별되어진 자체적인 브랜드에 준하여 품질등급을 제시하여 왔다. 그 등급 설정은 과학적 객관적이거나, 소비자의 니즈에 의한 것이 아니라 편의에 위한 관행적 등급으로 판단된다. 그 등급 내용을 보면 당도 $13^{\circ}Bx$ 이상, 산1.0% 이하로 일률적으로 적용하여 사용되어지고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 한라봉의 소비자 선호도 조사를 통한 소비자 만족도에 근거하여 당도 5등급, 산도 7등급으로 총 35개 등급으로 구분하였다. 이를 바탕으로 1등급에서 5등급까지의 5개의 등급을 설정하고 상품(1~3등급)과 비상품(4~5등급)으로 구분하였다.

Sclerotium rolfsii에 의한 수세미오이 흰비단병 (Sclerotium Rot of Sponge Gourd Caused by Sclerotium rolfsii)

  • 경상남도농업기술원 시험포장에서 S. rolfsii에 의한 수세미오이 흰비단병 증상이 발생하였다. 병징은 과실이 수침상으로 무르고 갈색으로 변하면서 썩는다. 병반부와 토양 표면에 흰색의 곰팡이가 발생하며 갈색의 작은 둥근 균핵이 형성되었다. 감자한천배지에서 균총은 흰색이고 잘 자라며 배양기간이 경과됨에 따라 갈색의 작은 둥근균핵을 많이 형성하였다. 균핵의 크기는 1-3 mm이며 균사의 폭은 4-9 ${\mu}m$였다. 균사생육과 균핵 형성 적온은 $30^{\circ}C$이었다. 균사특유의 clamp connection이 관찰되었다. 수세미오이에서 발생한 병징과 병원균의 균학적 특징, 그리고 ITS rDNA 염기서열 비교분석 결과, 이 병을 Sclerotium rolfsii Saccardo에 의한 수세미오이 흰비단병으로 명명하고자 제안한다.

제주 감귤식초 발효균주 선발 (Sensory Characteristics of Citrus Vinegar fermented by Gluconacetobacter hansenii CV1)

  • 제주산 감귤과즙을 이용하여 감귤식초를 제조할 목적으로 식초산 발효균 CV1과 CV2를 분리하고 식초산 생성능력을 산업적으로 이용되고 있는 균주와 비교 검정하고 165 rDNA 염기서열을 분석하고 동정하였다. 분리균은 8일간의 발효에 의하여 산도 $5.5\%$ 이상의 식초산을 생성하였으며, 감귤식초 발효에는 사과식초나 감식초 발효에 이용되고 있는 균주 보다 더욱 적합한 것으로 판정되었다. 분리한 균주는 Gluconacetobacter hanenii(CV2) 및 G. hanenii의 변이주(CV1)로 동정되었다.

아침결식 위험집단을 위한 아침 균형식단 개발 (Developing Breakfast Menus for Most Easily Breakfast-Skipping Groups)

  • This study was conducted to develop the standard breakfast menu for those weak groups having insufficient breakfast intake. The following three target groups are classified as: 16-19 years old high school male student, 20-29 years old female who have job or college students, 20-29 years old male or female who have job (double income family). While developing menus for each target groups, we applied several basic guidelines for meal planning as follows: Nutrient intake level was set to $\graction one-Third$ of RDA, while the energy level to $\fraction one-quarter $ of RDAs. Most Sequent meal pattern of Koreans was adapted; Suitabilities of appropriate serving size and cost for middle-income families were considered; Domestic foods and ingredients were used. We developed 24 menus summed by 2 menus for each season and three target groups. When evaluating the menus, most of the breakfast menus were sufficient of nutrients as a meal for the subjects. Three food groups such as grain/starch group, meat/fish/egg/bean group, vegetable/fruit group were included in all menus. Even though milk/dairy products group was not excluded for some menus, other calcium substitutes like anchovies were used. Oil/nut/sugar group was used to a minimum. The average number of foods for each menu was 12.8, which ranged from 10 to 17 depending on the menus. The average weight of the menus including soup was 822 g, 633 g and 730 g for each target group, respectively. The average price of the menu ranged from 2,000 to 3,500 won per person. The above results could be applied at home as well as foodservice institutes and furthermore could offer information for developing breakfast-substituting food products.

배지내 천연유기물 첨가가 딸기 "설향" 배양묘 기내 생육에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Natural Additives on In Vitro Growth Medium of Strawberry 'Seolhyang')

  • Strawberry which is the genus Fragaria under family Rosaceae is one of the most important fruit plants for both fresh consumption and food processing in the temperate and subtropical countries. Propagation of strawberry is achieved either through runners or by in vitro micropropagation. Meristem tips, generally obtained from runners of virus-free plants, are commonly used to establish in vitro cultures, which are employed for mass propagation or as a source of plant material for regeneration and transformation experiments. This study was conducted to determine the optimal natural additives strength to improve sprouting shoot rate of apical meristem of strawberry 'Seolhyang'. Strawberry apical meristem at size (0.2 mm to 0.3 mm) with leaf primordials were cultured on the 1/3MS(Murashige & Skoog) medium supplemented with five natural additives such as coconut milk, maple sap, banana powder and peptone. The sprouting ratio and growth characteristics were evaluated after eight weeks after in vitro culture. Shoot ratio of 'Seolhyang' apical meristem was 72.9% in 1/3MS medium supplemented with maple sap. On the other hand, the low shoot ratio was observed 47.7% in 1/3MS medium supplemented with banana powder. Shoot length was different as natural additives but numbers of leaf was not significantiy different among the natural additives. As a result, the sprouting ratio and plant growth were enhanced effectively in 1/3MS medium with maple sap compared to the others.

동백나무 열매의 연차별 크기 범위 (Fruit Size by Year of Camellia japonica in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 대한민국 안면도 식재의 동백나무 열매를 연차별로 수집하여 크기 범위의 형질특성을 비교하였다. 열매 길이는 24.1~36.0mm가 74.97%를 차지하였으며, 27.1~30.0mm가 23.47%로서 가장 높은 분포 비율을 나타내었다. 연도별 열매 길이는 2015년과 2017년이 각각 27.1~30.0mm, 2016년이 30.1~33.0mm에서 가장 길었다. 열매 너비 (폭)는 27.1~39.0mm가 74.36%를 차지하였으며, 33.1~36.0mm가 22.90%로서 가장 높은 분포 비율을 나타내었다. 연도별 열매 너비는 2015년과 2016년이 각각 33.1~36.0mm, 2017년이 30.1~33.0mm에서 가장 넓었다. 열매 장폭비는 0.81~1.00%가 64.77%를 차지하였으며, 0.81~0.90%가 33.27%로서 가장 높은 분포 비율을 나타내었다. 연도별 열매 장폭비는 2015년, 2016년, 2017년 모두 0.81~0.90%에서 가장 높았다 따라서 열매는 길이보다 너비 (폭)가 약간 넓은 둥근 모양을 나타내었다. 열매 무게는 5.1~25.0g이 78.31%를 차지하였으며, 15.1~20.0g이 25.37%로서 가장 높은 분포 비율을 나타내었다. 연도별 열매 무게는 2015년, 2016년, 2017년 모두 15.1~20.0g에서 가장 무거웠다. 그리고 열매 형질 사이의 상관관계를 보면 연차별 모두 열매의 너비 (폭)는 길이, 무게와 정의 유의한 상관이 있었다.

Kano-Timko모델과 컨조인트 분석을 활용한 한국 식품의 이집트 할랄 시장에 진출을 위한 타당성 분석 (Validity Analysis of Korean Food for Launching Halal Market in Egypt Using the Kano-Timko Model with Conjoint Anlaysis)

  • Purpose: We consider export of Korea for Muslim population of Cairo residents in Egypt. Product instant cup noodle and yuzu tea are mainly focused on Kano model and Timko's customer satisfaction factor (CS - Coefficient) analysis and conjoint analysis. Methods: Based on the evaluation and conjoint analysis, cluster analysis was additionally applied to further exploratory research as to what kind of population the target customer has. A total of 120 people, each 60 people each, were prosecuted for Muslim women, middle middle class who had over 3,000 Korean won annual income for that study, and in Cairo in August 18. Results: The Kano analysis result Instant cup noodles act as attractive elements for packaging state, cooking method, smell and convenience, and Yuzu tea acted as an attractive element of taste, eating method, raw materials, efficacy, packaging form. Customer satisfaction factor, instant cup noodles, capacity and noodle thickness was a factor of indifference in Kano analysis, but acted as an attractive factor, the way to eat citron tea was classified as a factor of indifference. Conclusion: In the case of instant cup noodles, we first set up the taste of chicken-based soup with high appreciation as a whole, a group that likes chicken-based soup taste and oil noodles for each market segment, a taste of beef based soup And popular group that likes raw noodles Appears that diversification is necessary, and it has been found that it is necessary to develop a product type by hierarchy and marketing with different size priority from group packaging container. In the case of Yuzu tea, it is indispensable to emphasize the efficacy, in particular, energy recovery preference appears high, appealing point matching the needs of energy recovery is necessary, release the citrus fruit as a product without buckwheat in Bisson Ho, the packaging container, The group that likes cups and sticks is different and we found that it is necessary to prepare all two types.

Damages of Young Persimmon Tree as Affected by Application of Immature Liquid Pig Manure

  • BACKGROUND: Liquid pig manure (LPM) has been used as an alternative for conventional fertilizers on some gramineous crops. However, its chemical properties varied widely depending on the degree of the digestion. A pot experiment was conducted to determine the responses of persimmon trees to immature (not well-digested) LPM application. METHODS AND RESULTS: Ten application levels of immature LPM, consisted of a total of 3 to 30 L in 3-L increment, were applied during summer to 5-year-old 'Fuyu' trees grown in 50-L pots. Increasing the LPM application rate caused defoliation, wilting, and chlorosis in leaves. When applied with the rate of 3 L during summer, the tree produced small fruits with low soluble solids and bore few flower buds the following season, indicating insufficient nutritional status. In trees applied with the LPM rates of 6~12 L, both fruit characteristics and above-ground growth of the trees appeared normal but some roots were injured. However, application of higher LPM rates than 27 L resulted in small size, poor coloration, or flesh softening of the fruits the current season. Furthermore, the high LPM rates caused severe cold injury in shoots during winter and weak shoot growth the following season. It was noted that the application of higher LPM rate than 9 L damaged the root, even though above-ground parts of the tree appeared to grow normally. CONCLUSION: The results indicated that an excessive immature LPM application could cause various injuries on leaves, fruits, and the roots in both the current and the following season.

복숭아 선별작업장의 미세먼지의 발생특성 모니터링 (Monitoring of Dust Concentration Generated during Peach Sorting Operations)

  • 복숭아는 대표적인 여름 과일이자 알레르기를 유발하는 식품으로 밀폐되고 집약적인 생산환경으로 인해 시설 내 유기분진, 농약, 복숭아털이 발생하기 때문에, 열악한 작업환경으로 인한 작업자들이 어려움을 많이 겪고 있다. 본 연구에서는 복숭아 선별작업장에서 발생하는 미세먼지를 위치별, 작업별, 입경별로 모니터링함으로써 저감 및 대책 마련을 위한 기초자료를 확보하고자 하였다. 미세먼지 모니터링 결과 지역별로는 선별과정에서 미세먼지의 발생이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 주로 기계적인 과정을 통하여 발생하는 10㎛ 이상의 미세먼지로 나타났다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 향후 작업환경의 개선을 위해서 공정 중 미세먼지가 주로 발생하는 지역 및 미세먼지의 물리적 특성을 고려하여 저감시설 및 개인보호구의 착용이 요구된다.

  • Apple (Malus×domestica Borkh.; Rosaceae) is an important fruit crop grown mainly in temperate regions of the world. Tissue culture in vitro is a biotechnological technique that has been used to genetically improve cultivars (scions) and rootstocks. This could be important in the production of genetically uniform scions and rootstocks for commercial apple production. In nurseries, apple plants are produced by grafting scions onto rootstocks. The Cornell-Geneva (Geneva® series) breeding program has bred several dwarf rootstocks that are resistant to diseases and pests and are also cold hardy. This study was conducted to determine the optimal medium strength to improve sprouting shoot rate of apical meristem of the apple rootstocks of fire blight resistance. The apple rootstocks apical meristem at size (0.2 mm to 0.3 mm) with axillary buds were cultured on the MS(Murashige & Skoog) medium supplemented with plant growth regulators. The sprouting ratio and growth characteristics was evaluated after eight weeks in vitro culture. The highest rate of bud differentiation and shoot formation were 23.8% and 55.6%, respectively. After 6 weeks, shoots were regenerated from apical meristem, and their growth characteristics was significantly varied on the respective basal medium with different plant growth regulators. Our studies showed that the apple rootstocks the apple rootstocks of fire blight resistance plantlets could be successfully produced from apical meristem differentiated out of young twigs via organogenic regeneration.
