This paper aims to present a taxonomy of non-standard words (NSW) for developing a French text normalization system and to propose a method for evaluating this system based on a corpus. The proposed taxonomy of French NSWs consists of 13 categories, including 2 types of letter-based categories and 9 types of number-based categories. In order to evaluate the text normalization system, a representative test set including NSWs from various text domains, such as news, literature, non-fiction, social-networking services (SNSs), and transcriptions, is constructed, and an evaluation equation is proposed reflecting the distribution of the NSW categories of the target domain to which the system is applied. The error rate of the test set is 1.64%, while the error rate of the whole corpus is 2.08%, reflecting the NSW distribution in the corpus. The results show that the literature and SNS domains are assessed as having higher error rates compared to the test set.

The current study considers that the distinctive acoustic properties and variations in the closed plateau are realized by four different pitch accents(/Hi*_ H*/ or /Hi*_$h*_f$ for an emphatic phrase and /hi*_ H*/ for a neutral phrase) in an intermediate phrase in the French intonational structure. Thus, an attempt is made to define the acoustic property of the CP in the ip according to the duration time and pitch range, while different combinations of the four pitch accents of the CP are used to explain the way a speaker will highlight. The duration time of the CP was measured at about 0.67 sec. for males and 0.75 sec. for females. The duration properties of the plateau in the CP were found to control the pitch range based on two different prominent pitch accents, which appeared in more than two APs. Therefore, the ip was identified as having a hierarchical level in the French intonational structure, along with the AP and IP. In addition, the CP in the ip was used as a specific location to explain the pragmatic meaning of the rhythm using the two acoustic factors and different combinations of the four pitch accents.

This paper compares the French Gustave Flaubert (1821-1880) and the Vietnamese Vũ Trọng Phụng (1912-1939), and explores transformations of their aesthetic experiences that led to the autonomization of French literary field in the nineteenth century and Vietnamese in the early twentieth century. Inspired from the term "archive" coined by Michel Foucault, this article argues that Flaubert, in abandoning the bourgeois tastes, contested realism and built his own writing ideology and style, which is called subjective realism. On the other hand, it also argues that Vũ Trọng Phụng, through the popular report genre, he gained success and evolved his own novel writing style, aptly called the realism of speech. It is ostensible that the transformation in the two authors' writing style and aesthetic experience was derived from the way they distanced themselves from their contemporaries' common tastes while making use of free indirect speeches, all with the aim of granting readers the autonomy of reading.

이 연구는 한국인 프랑스어 학습자들이 프랑스어 담화 내의 대명사를 해석할 때 담화 구조의 영향을 받는지 알아보았다. 한국인 프랑스어 학습자, 프랑스어 원어민 참가자들은 세 문장으로 구성된 46개의 짧은 이야기를 읽고 이야기의 연결이 얼마나 자연스러운지 7점 척도로 평가했다. 이야기들은 마지막 문장의 주어가 이전 문장의 주어와 동일한지 여부와 마지막 문장의 주어가 반복된 명사구 또는 대명사로 지시되었는지에 따라 4가지 경우로 나누어졌다. 프랑스어 원어민 참가자들은 선행연구에서와 같이 마지막 주어가 이전 문장의 주어와 동일할 때, 주어가 변환될 경우에는 대명사보다 반복 명사구로 언급될 때 이야기가 더 자연스럽다고 판단하였다. 반면 한국인 참가자들은 주어 연속 여부에 무관하게 대명사 주어 문장을 반복 명사구 주어 문장보다 부자연스럽다고 판단하였다. 이와 같은 한국인 프랑스어 학습자의 대명사 해석 방식은 영 프랑스어권 아동의 모어 학습과정에서 대명사 해석의 기제 습득과정과 비교하여 논의되었다.

본 연구는 현재 개발 진행 중인 다국어 자동통번역시스템에서 발생하는 한국어 과거시제 선어말어미 '-었'의 생성문제를 다루었다. 한국어 과거시제 선어말 어미는 영어와 독일어의 경우에는 대부분 단순과거형으로 생성될 수 있으나, 프랑스어의 경우에는 복합과거의 형식과 반과거의 형식 중 하나를 선택해야 하는 문제가 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제의 해결을 위해 한-프랑스어 코퍼스 분석을 통해 복합과거와 반과거의 올바른 생성을 위한 네 가지의 자질을 선정하였고, 이에 SVM 알고리즘을 적용한 분류기를 구현하였다. 현재까지의 실험결과는 84.45%의 정확률이며 현재 성능개선을 위한 연구가 계속 진행 중이다.

The study was designed to review the changes in designs and the manufacturing methods of french hood, one of the headdresses which play an important role in showing the appearance of costume, to understand design expression techniques through manufacturing of the head dress of the western costumes, and to provide materials to exert creativity for new designs. Based on literature review and portrait study, 1 manufactured a frenchhood. I set the study cope as from the late 15 century when frenchhood was used for the first time, to the mid 16 century. For the frenchhood selected, 1 examined the hair style, the characteristics of the french hood, and the pattern first, and proceeded to manufacturing. 1 used velvet and silk for the textile as explained in the literature. And, 1 purchased such similar ornaments as shown in the pictures, making the color so similar to the original to the most. Dimensions in manufacturing were those In the literature, since the study is focusing on the reproduction of the features of the portraits. Dimensions of detailed decoration were measured using the ratio of the headdress in the portraits.

This study aims to investigate John Fowles's The French Lieutenant's Woman. This important postmodern novel is arguably the most important fiction published in England during the 1960's. John Fowles, along with Muriel Spark, Irish Mudoch and Doris Lessing is one the most influential postmodern writers. This is a study on the narrative technique, multiful endings, parody and author intrusion. The French Lieutenant's Woman is metafiction - a novel about writing a novel. The author says "This story I am telling is all imagination" in chapter 13. That is to say that John Fowles subverts traditional and even modernist poetics. His own intentional attempt to depart from traditional narrative structure is itself one of the novel's central issues. Through The French Lieutenant's Woman John Fowles shows postmodernist writers' narrative strategy.

본고는 올해 처음 시도하는 세종계획 관용표현 전자사전 구축에 관한 글이다. 본 전자사전이 완성되면 관용표현의 총체적 정보(형태, 통사, 의미, 화용 정보)를 수록하는 최초의 업적이 될 뿐만 아니라 실제 언어 자료에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 관습적 표현까지 모두 포괄하는 4만 표제어의 대규모 사전이 될 것이다. 본 사전에서는 관용표현의 형태 통사적 구성과 그 분포적 속성뿐 아니라, 관용표현이 가지는 논항의 존재 유무, 구조, 조사 통합 양상, 그리고 고정명사에 대한 수식어 제약, 어휘적 통사적 변형 양상, 선어말어미 제약, 어말어미 제약, 문장 유형 제약 등이 수록된다. 또한 각 논항의 의미역과 선택제약에 관한 정보, 그 외 다양한 의미 화용 정보 어원 표기 정보 등도 담기게 된다. 본고에서는 그러한 정보의 표기 양식을 하나하나 명시적으로 설명할 것이다.

The following summarized argument is the comparative research of the characteristics of automatic techniques demonstrated in the mixed expression of foreign language and Korean language in Lee Sang's poetry. Our research examines the use of foreign languages such as French and English shown in Lee Sang's poems, and then, recognized the characteristics of the automatic techniques demonstrated by the parallel marks and signs of Korean language. The automatical technique's element that Lee Sang made use of is a language of loanblend, consisting of free use of French, English, Japanese and Korean. The mathematical and geometric figures such as numbers and shapes can be seen as an important poetic language. In Lee Sang's poetry, the French words "AMOUREUSES" and "ESQUISSE" and English words "I WED A TOY BRIDE" are considered as parts of Korean language. The use of foreign language is seen by the readers as encodes of a unacquainted language and it provides rhetorical characteritstics that gives off profanatory feeling about the poetry. The poet is seen to have created a new poetic language that excess the standards of the limitations that Korean and Chinese marks have through the application of polysems and poliphonyic effects that foreign languages have. The mathematical and geometric signs are Lee Sang's special experimental elements that can't be seen in other literary poetries. They are conversational and the requirements for the expression of abstract artistry and esthetics. The language used in his poetry are external to those traditional poetic languages and they mix freely with other poetic elements to become an automatic technique used in the writing. Lee Sang's techniques can be considered as the pursuit of defiance and departure, freedom about literature and artistry. Moreover, the avant-garde expressionism is the literary form that demonstrated the sense of inferiority, nervousness and loneliness risen from physical pain and the abnormal relationship with women in the poet's personal life. The technique shows the longingness of the the Western culture and literature that lay dormant in the poet's consciousness and it is also the expression of ingenious that created the new guide in the Korean poetic literature, exceeding the European surrealism. Lastly, the automatic technique images that are demonstrated by the mixture of the foreign languages and Korean language are the creations of an innate poetic language and poetic literature that can't be imitated by anyone in Korean literature.

이 글에서는 세종 전자사전이 전산어휘부로서 갖는 특성과 그 개발 의의를 대해서 살피고자 한다. 이를 위해 우선 세종 전자사전 개발 사업을 기간별 내용과 사업의 배경 및 목표, 사업 내용으로 나누어 개관한다. 그런 다음, 세종 전자사전의 특성을 개관하고, 거시구조 및 미시구조의 특성, 그리고 전산어휘부로서의 특성으로 나누어 살핀다. 또한 이러한 특성과 관련하여 세종 전자사전 개발의 의의에 대해서도 아울러 살핀다.
