본 연구에서는 프랑스어 문화 교육의 관점에서 '시간'의 문화적 특성에 대하여 살펴보았다. 해가 뜨고 지는 자연의 흐름과 시계의 초침이나 달력의 날짜가 '시간'인 듯 간주되지만 엄밀히 말해 일상생활 속에서 우리는 개인이 어떻게 시간을 경험하는지 설명하기는 매우 어렵다. 하물며 외국 문화에 속한 외국인의 일상 의사소통 상황별 시간의 경험을 이해한다는 것은 한국에서 외국어를 배우는 학습자에게는 매우 어려운 목표이다. 문화 인류학자 에드워드 홀에 따르면 각 문화 공동체는 서로 다른 시간 경험을 발전시켜 왔으며, 시간은 공간이나 제스처나 시선, 얼굴 표정과 같이 비언어적 의사소통의 메시지를 전달한다. 본 연구에서는 프랑스와 한국의 술자리 모임의 시간 경험에 대하여 문화 상대주의적인 관점에서 비교하고 살펴보면서, 술 모임의 양태들이 한국과 프랑스의 문화적 특성과 관련하여 어떠한 특성을 나타내는지 분석하였다. 술 모임이란 주제는 일상생활과 관련이 높은 주제이고 인간관계를 맺는 방식과 두 문화의 의사소통 방식을 압축하여 드러낸다는 점에서 선정되었다. 본 연구에서는 특히 집단과 개인의 관계, 여가 시간과 노동 시간을 분리하는 양태와 비언어적 의사소통의 양식 등이 프랑스와 한국 문화의 특성에 따라 술 모임에서 어떻게 다르게 드러나는지 분석하면서 한국 대학의 프랑스어 문화교육을 위한 새로운 방향을 모색하였다.

최근 프랑스 영화는 국내 수입과 개봉이 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 하지만 국내에 개봉하는 모든 프랑스 영화가 흥행에 성공하는 것은 아니다. 국내 영화시장과 관객들에게 프랑스영화는 여전히 '다양성영화' 혹은 '예술영화'라는 인식이 일반적 통념이다. 따라서 국내에 소개되는 프랑스 영화는 관객들에게 할리우드영화나 국내영화와는 또 다른 문화적 의미를 부여하는 문화상품이며, 다양성 영화 이해라는 중요한 문화적 가치를 제공하고 있다. 하지만 국내에 개봉되는 프랑스영화도 할리우드 영화와 마찬가지로, 결국 많은 관객들을 통한 소비가 영화제작이나 수입목적에 부합한다고 말할 수 있다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구자들은 프랑스에서 제작된 영화 <테이큰>을 통해 국내 관객의 수용방식과 흥행요인을 살펴보고자 한다. 특히 수용방식과 흥행요인의 분석은 문화다양성 개념을 넘어서서 국내 개봉시 고려해야할 사항들을 직시하게 해줄 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 다양성 예술영화로 일반적으로 인식되는 프랑스 영화가 <테이큰>을 통해 영화 소비적 측면에서 어떤 흥행방식에 초점을 두고 있는지, SWOT 분석을 통해 흥행 가능성과 요인들을 천착하고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 우선 국내 영화관객의 소비태도나 양상들을 살펴보며, 영화 관람시 고려하는 사항들이 무엇인지 검토하고자 한다. 그런 다음, <테이큰>의 흥행요인을 SWOT 분석하여, 프랑스 영화임에도 불구하고 국내에서 흥행에 성공한 이유를 살펴볼 것이다. 마지막으로 SWOT 분석을 토대로 <테이큰>의 흥행전략을 도출하고, 향후 외화영화를 국내 수입시 고려할만한 전제조건들을 재조명하고자 한다. 또한 국내 수입업자들에게는 상업적 측면에서 흥행적 코드로서 어떤 점에 주안점을 두고 수입 개봉해야하는지 검토할 수 있는 좋은 계기가 될 것이다.

Luce Irigaray, a French feminist psychoanalyst, criticizes the Lacanian psychoanalytic theory for its patriarchical basis on the masculine power and authority. In the article, we examine Lacanian psychoanalytic sexual differences at the standpoint of Irigaray's psychoanalytic theory. In contrast, we defend Lacanian theory from the perspective of semiotics.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the evolution of mobility after the commercial opening of french TGV through an examination on the precedent studies. The result of this study is as follows: Firstly, the TGV is competitive against the airplanes and automobiles within the 2 or 3 hours' service area, especially in the business trip markets. But in the recreational trips over this service area, 3 or 4 hours, the TGV remains as an important mode of transportation. Secondly, in a range within approximately 200 km, 1 hour by TGV, the french high speed train is not competitive against the automobiles by the lack of flexibility and commodity which are normally providing by the automobiles. This study shows the importance of permanent monitoring system on the KTX travellers' behavior to strengthen the market share of KTX.

The often-encountered problem of disrupting bacteria for the purpose of extracting soluble protein has generated various methods. Many require specialized equipment. Very often, especially during preliminary studies, investigators need a simple, fast, and inexpensive method for cell disruption that preserves biological activity. This paper compares some simple and inexpensive methods for cell disruption, such as bead-vortexing, freesing-thawing, French pressing, and sonication. It also provides some tips to increase protein yield and preserve biological activity. If performed under optimal conditions, bead-vortexing gives protein yields that are comparable to French pressing and sonication. It also preserves the activities of labile enzymes and releases periplasmic enzymes. Vortexing with glass beads appears to be the simplest method for cell disruption.

In 1882, after the French defeated Tonkin for the second time, the Nguyen Dynasty led by King Tự Đức 嗣德 appointed Phạm Thận Duật 范慎遹 and Nguyễn Thuật 阮述 as envoys to the Qing Dynasty to seek the Chinese's help to deal with the French invasion. The trip's information from 1883 such as the schedule, the content, the discussion, and the progress was specifically reflected in the two envoys' diaries, including "Notes of Voyage to Qing Dynasty in The First Year of Jianfu" 建福元年如清日程 (Phạm Thận Duật and Nguyễn Thuật), "Notes of Voyage to Tianjin" 往津日记(Nguyễn Thuật). This article presents the origin of these documents and their historical values in order to provide insights into the study of diplomatic relations between the Nguyen Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty in the late 19th century through the 1883 mission.

This paper is attempted to clarify the controversial event King Thibaw ascending the throne. Moreover it was presented with the purpose of how important "Trust Building" is in politic. After ascending the throne, King Thibaw faced external threat as well as internal weakness. The Hluttaw ministers and counselors did not support effectively and King Thibaw lost trust his ministers and counselors. Therefore mass killing of royal prince took place after the ascending the throne and it made discredit to King Thibaw. Senior minister like Kinwun Mingyi and Hsinphyumashin secretly contact with Prince Nyaung Yan whom was staying under the protection of British. On the other hand Prince Myingun took refuge under protection of the French and was trying to seize the power with the supporters from lower Myanmar as well as taking the financial help from Hsinphyu Mashin. They were external strength for the British and French. In this way King Thibaw's administration became deteriorated and finally the British anxious about Franco-Myanmar treaty so they exaggerated the Bombay-Burma Teak company's problem. In this way King Thibaw was taken away by the British due to the internal weakness and external strength.

This article offers a reflection on Frantz Fanon's diagnosis and analysis of French colonialism in Algeria. We will attempt to demonstrate that there is a concrete and clear connection between Fanon as the psychiatrist diagnosing the devastating effects of the French colonial system, and his subsequent political involvement in the Algerian revolution. This is not to say that each part does not contain valuable insights in their own rights, but rather to stress that without being read together, as a whole, one would miss a significant element in the understanding of the importance Fanon's thought subsequently came to play in the emancipation struggles of the colonized worldwide. Furthermore, we argue that it is crucial to understand the intimate connection between Fanon's psychiatric work, his diagnosis of colonial mental disorders, as well as diagnosis of the colonial system as such, and then his political engagement, in order to understand the particular context in which he favourably discusses the use of violence in the name of fighting against the oppressive system of colonialism. Above all, we argue that Fanon's critique of colonialism continues to spark controversy because it still represents the most powerful and incisive analysis of, as well as answer to, the troubled relationship between the blessed and the wretched of the earth.

세계는 갈수록 좁아지고 문화는 서로 닮아가고 있다. 더불어 각국의 음식은 고유성을 잃어가고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 2010년 11월 케냐 나이로비에서 열린 회의에서 유네스코는 프랑스 미식법(repas gastronomique des francais)을 유네스코 무형유산으로 선정했다. 한 나라의 음식문화가 무형유산으로 등재된 것은 2003년 무형유산 협약이 채택된 이후 처음이며, 이는 음식문화의 문화자원화를 위한 좋은 사례가 될 것이다.
