철도적용에서 구동장치의 피로강도에 관한 시험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Fatigue Strength of a Running Equipment in Railway Applications)

  • The truck that is used as running equipment for tank freight car support is a core structural part that supports the load of the car body and significantly influences the safety of freights and vehicles, as well as their running performance. Running equipment is composed of truck frames, wheels and wheel axles, independent suspensions, and brakes. Among these components, the truck frame supporting the load of the vehicles and freights may be the most important component. This study was carried out to analyze the structure of truck frames and to determine whether they are safe when the maximum vertical load, braking part load, and the front and rear load are applied to truck frames. This was achieved by subjecting the truck frames to stress tests and then measuring the stress on each part. The results of the stress tests showed that truck frames have a safe vehicle load design.

교통체계개선에 의한 화물교통 대기오염영향 저감방안 - 시흥시 시화국가산업단지를 중심으로 - (Comparative Study of Truck Traffic System Management for Reducing Air Pollution Impact - Forcusing on Sihwa National Industrail Complex, Siheung City -)

  • The factor of air pollution in a large industrial city is not only manufactories but also, activities related to trucks. Sihwa National Industrial Complex is located in Siheung City; due to the industries, more diverse activities related to trucks occur in Siheung City than other cities. In particular, the new residential area in Siheung City is close to the industrial complex; so, the damage of this residential area is expected that it would be more serious and vulnerable than other areas. The aim of this study is to analyze influence of the air pollution by a truck in Siheung City. ISCST3 Model and Arc View program were used for this study and Siheung City was divided into 1,000 meter by 1,000 meter grid to analyze. Furthermore, this study suggested two reduction controls of air pollution in Siheung City, and analyzed the results from these reduction managements. The results of the present condition showed that residences located in north of Sihwa Industrial Complex are influenced by air pollution material. Furthermore, air pollution by trucks has affected on the residents which is near the road in Siheung City. Therefore, this study suggested two reduction controls by the Traffic System Management. The first alternative plan is setting the truck traffic limitation zone in the road that is located in south of resident areas and many trucks traffic. Next, the second alternative plan is setting freight truck way on the most traffic road to enter the industrial complex. The reduction effect of the first alternative is good on the residential area. And, the second alternate about freight truck way is divided passenger cars into trucks. Therefore, there are increase of average speed and decrease of average concentration, and spatial reduction effects found in wide areas.

차량 운행제한 지역 설정을 위한 화물자동차 통행요인 분석 (A Study of the Travel Factors of Truck for the Low Emission Zone)

  • 본 연구는 수송부문에서 오염물질 배출 비중이 큰 화물차의 통행량에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위하여 다중회귀모형을 추정하였으며, 모형 추정 결과 지역별 인구수, 도시지역 면적, GDP, 업종별(농업, 임업 및 어업, 광업, 제조업, 도매 및 소매업) 사업체수 등이 주요 변수로 검토되었다. 이러한 변수는 화물차 특성(업종, 톤급)에 따라 상이하게 나타나므로 차량 운행제한 등 관련 정책 추진 시에는 지역별 화물차 특성에 따른 통행량을 충분히 고려해야 할 필요가 있다. 특히 물류터미널 등 화물차 통행량이 많은 물류거점이 위치하지 않은 지역에 대해서는 화물차 통행에 영향을 미치는 지역별 요인을 고려하여 차량 운행제한 대상 지역을 검토해야 할 필요가 있다. 특히 본 연구의 결과에서 제시된 바와 같이 화물차 통행량과 지역 내 인구수는 양의 상관관계를 가지기 때문에 인구밀집지역에서는 화물차를 포함한 차량운행제한 검토가 필요하다. 본 연구 결과의 신뢰도를 높이기 위해서는 실제 통행량 자료를 기반으로 다중회귀모형 외 다양한 모형 추정을 통하여 추정 결과에 대한 오차를 줄여야 할 필요가 있다.

  • Rail transport has been considered as an environmental-friendly transport mode compared with other transport modes such as ship, truck, and aircraft. However, rail industry can not avoid a duty of alleviating Greenhouse gases emission owing to the Korean government polices for green growth which is an economic paradigm that simultaneously pursues growth and environmental improvement. The purpose of this research is to develop a methodology of determining an economic speed of freight train to be green freight train by considering fuel cost, environmental cost, and time cost. In the methodology, we first define a cost function based on cost factors and then suggest an economic speed of freight train by deriving a property.

  • In the case of railway freight, there's a lot of process at railway freight terminal. In these days, for operation efficiency improvement, Load/Unload planning is being carried out research. Load/unload problem can be classified as track assignment, container assignment, yard truck route problem, unload equipment scheduling, container yard plan. In this paper, we focus on track assignment and container assignment among the load/unload problem. we analysis information architecture to solve this problem. And we compares two precesses for existing method and optimization method of track/container assignment processes. An contents different analysis of two methods can shows reformation of an information architecture for load/unload process in the railway freight terminal.

Offline-to-Online Service and Big Data Analysis for End-to-end Freight Management System

  • Freight management systems require a new business model for rapid decision making to improve their business processes by dynamically analyzing the previous experience data. Moreover, the amount of data generated by daily business activities to be analyzed for making better decisions is enormous. Online-to-offline or offline-to-online (O2O) is an electronic commerce (e-commerce) model used to combine the online and physical services. Data analysis is usually performed offline. In the present paper, to extend its benefits to online and to efficiently apply the big data analysis to the freight management system, we suggested a system architecture based on O2O services. We analyzed and extracted the useful knowledge from the real-time freight data for the period 2014-2017 aiming at further business development. The proposed system was deemed useful for truck management companies as it allowed dynamically obtaining the big data analysis results based on O2O services, which were used to optimize logistic freight, improve customer services, predict customer expectation, reduce costs and overhead by improving profit margins, and perform load balancing.

소규모 물량을 가진 간선수송문제의 수송계획 (Truck Scheduling for Linehaul Operations with Small Amount of Shipment)

  • One of the most important problems encountered by parcel transportation firms or LTL (Less-than-truckload) firms is the planning of daily linehaul operations. The transportation firm's goal is to determine the most efficient way to move all freight from its originating terminal to its destination terminal after each shipment is picked up from the shipping dock. The purpose of this study is to design a transportation system and develop an efficient scheduling algorithm for linehaul operations carrying small amount of shipment. This paper presents three approaches for efficient linehaul operations. The first approach examines drivers using the roundtrips which start from a terminal, visit several terminals, and return to the starting terminal. The second approach uses a freight assembly center where drivers take freight for a number of destination terminals which they then swap for freight for their starting terminal. The third approach is similar to the second approach in that it uses a transshipment point like a freight assembly terminal for shipment, but it has several transshipment points since each shipment may have a different transshipment point. In this study, we developed a mathematical formulation and algorithm for each approach. The experimental results using data of a LTL firm show that the third approach is more efficient than the other two. Mileage and overnight stays of the third approach are reduced by 10% and 30%, respectively.

  • 철도-공로 복합화물운송은 최초출발지에서 최종목적지까지 화물을 수송함에 있어 철도와 화물자동차를 연계하는 운송시스템이다. 철도-공로 복합화물운송에서 공로(화물자동차)의 역할은 집배송 기능으로 전체 운송과정의 경쟁력에 중요한 영향을 미친다. 본 연구는 철도-공로 복합화물운송의 대표적 화물인 컨테이너를 대상으로 집배송 부분의 효율성을 제고시키기 위한 운송전략을 개발하고 평가하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 컨테이너트럭의 운송거리 최소화를 지향하는 전략과 고객에서의 대기시간 최소화를 주목적으로 하는 전략 등 2개의 집배송 개선전략이 개발되었다. 개발된 전략들은 파리수도권의 실제 집배송망에 적용되어 그 효율성이 비교, 평가되었다. 기존 집배송방식과의 시뮬레이션 비교결과 제안된 전략들이 다양한 성과지표에서 상당히 효율적임이 입증되었다.

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 화주의 수송수단 선택특성을 파악하는 목적으로 수행하였다. 모형의 형태는 개별행태모형이며 SP 자료를 이용하였다. SP 조사는 실험설계를 통해 준비하였다. 고려한 요인은 수송시간, 수송비용, 서비스 수준이다. 연구에서 도출된 시사점은 철도수송의 수요를 증대시키기 위해서는 수송비용을 감소시키는 전략이 가장 효과적이라는 것이다. 화물 품목별로 설명하면, 컨테이너는 수송비용의 감소와 더불어 수송시간을 단축시키고 서비스 수준을 개선할 때 공로수송에 비하여 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 반면에 양회와 철강 등 벌크화물은 다른 요소보다 수송비용을 인하하는 정책이 효과적이다.

  • 본 연구는 대도시 화물자동차의 화물통행수요 추정을 위한 목적으로 대도시 화물자동차의 통행수요특성을 분석하고자 하였다. 대도시 화물자동차의 통행수요특성은 활동발생과 도착지선택, 그리고 통행사슬행태를 중심으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 출발존의 서비스업 사업체수가 대도시 화물자동차의 활동발생과 도착지 선택에서 주요한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 분석되었다. 그리고 도착지 유형이 도소매업체이고, 운송품목이 음식료품의 경우 통행사슬 내 통행수가 가장 많은 것으로 드러났다. 향후 대도시 화물자동차 통행수요추정시 이러한 변수와 운송품목을 고려할 필요가 있을 것으로 판단된다.
