열저장 물질로써 잠열재의 제조 및 특성 연구 (Study on Manufacturing and Characteristics of Phase Change Materials for Having Latent Heat)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the cold chain system by developing optimal phase change materials (PCM). There are some benefits from developing this system such as keeping freshness of agriculture products, saving energy, etc. The major results are as follows. To decide a latent heat material, the characteristics of water, sodium, polyacrylate, ethanol and N-tetradecane are analysed. Also, an insulating material is made by mixing water, nucleating agent and latent heat material, using cementing method. In addition, the sensitivity analysis for developed latent heat material($K_l,\;K_2,\;K_3$) is conducted. For $K_l,\;K_2,\;K_3$ which cans keep latent heat temperature, ranging from $0\;to\;5^{\circ}C,\;5\;to\;10^{\circ}C,\;10\;to\;15^{\circ}C$. it can keeps latent heat temperature at radiant heat (5, 12, $17^{\circ}C$) and transportation latent heat container both melting temperature and amount of latent heat of Kl are $-1.6{\pm}1.0^{\circ}C$, 326.51 J/g, respectively and freezing temperature and latent heat are $-7.98{\pm}1.5^{\circ}C$ and 174.18 J/g. and $K_2$ are $7.41{\pm}1.5^{\circ}C$, 89.80 J/g, respectively and freezing temperature and latent heat are $-2.14{\pm}1.5^{\circ}C$ and 83.90 J/g. and $K_3$ are $9.54{\pm}1.0^{\circ}C$, 145.42 J/g, respectively and freezing temperature and latent heat are $0.21{\pm}1.0^{\circ}C$ and 152.48 J/g.

냉.해동 조건에 따른 간편편이식 콩나물의 물리적 품질 변화 (Effect of Freezing and Thawing Condition on the Physical Characteristics of Blanched Bean Sprouts as Home Meal Replacement)

  • 본 연구에서는 냉동형 간편편이식 콩나물의 제품 개발을 위하여 냉동 콩나물의 품질을 개선하고자 데친 콩나물의 냉동속도 및 해동속도에 따른 콩나물의 물리적 품질 특성을 비교하였다. 본 실험에서는 과열증기 가열장치로 데치기 한 콩나물을 강제송풍식 냉동기나 자연대류식 냉동기에서 냉동한 후, 냉동 저장한 콩나물을 전자레인지(출력강도 0, 400, 800 및 1,000 W)에서 시료의 중심부 온도가 $75^{\circ}C$에 도달할 때까지 해동 및 조리하였다. 분석 결과, 콩나물의 냉동속도는 강제송풍식 냉동을 하는 것이 자연대류식 냉동을 하는 것 보다 4배 정도 빨랐으며, 해동시간은 마이크로 웨이브 세기에 따라 단축되었다. 냉 해동한 콩나물의 수분함량은 자연대류식 냉동을 한 후 1,000 W로 해동한 콩나물의 경우 수분손실이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 콩나물의 탄력성은 모든 조건에서 감소하는 경향을 보였으나, 조직의 경도는 강제송풍식 냉동 후 1,000 W에서 해동한 콩나물만 대조군에 비해 높게 나타났다. 현미경 관찰에서는 콩나물을 냉동하면 관다발과 피층의 세포들이 파괴되는 현상이 나타났으며, 냉동 시간과 해동 시간이 길어질수록 그 정도가 더 심하게 나타났다. 냉 해동 콩나물의 품질변화를 전반적으로 비교하였을 때 냉동 속도가 빠르고, 해동 시 전자레인지의 출력이 높을수록 대조구와 비교하여 가장 변화가 적은 것으로 나타났다. 실험결과, 콩나물의 냉해동 속도는 냉동 콩나물의 물리적 품질 변화에 주요한 영향을 미치며, 이러한 냉해동 조건의 조절을 통하여 냉동 콩나물의 품질이 개선된 가공품의 개발이 가능할 것이다. 또한, 이러한 가공 조건들은 다양한 발아식품의 냉동제품 개발의 가공 요인으로도 적용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 그러나 냉동 콩나물의 품질 개선에 관한 연구는 가공조건에 따른 영양학적 품질에 관한 추가 연구를 통하여 물리적, 영양학적으로 우수한 품질의 가공품 개발이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

  • A modern industrial society is presently considering not only cultural life but also health promotion to enhance the quality of life. There are many ways to enjoy the wellbeing life. Especially, ice-skating has been focused on as leisure sports with many remarkable advantages. Even though ice-skating was recognized as winter sport, nowadays people enjoyed skating are increased more and more because of indoor ice link. So, construction of indoor ice link has been boomed up. However, The techniques of ice link freezing system are insufficient because the ice link freezing system on the local construction was designed by advanced country techniques. So, this study has been conducted to analyze the air conditioning and refrigeration system in existing local ice link to suggest the design method of ice link.

  • 본 연구는 용융된 파라핀을 채운 수직원관 내의 상변화물질의 초기온도와 수직원관의 벽면온도를 변화시켰을때 관 내에서 일어나는 열전달현상을 다루었다. 자연대류의 효과는 초기과열된 액상영역 내에서 응고초기 짧은 시간에 걸쳐 일어났고, 그 후 전도열전달이 paraffin 전 영역을 지배하였다. 실험에서 관찰한 응고 형태는 상부표면에서 밀도 증가에 의한 수축공간이 발생하였으며, 그 공간의 크기는 냉각이 진행됨에 따라 증가하였다. 자연대류가 끝나자. 상경계면 상에서 수지상 결정과 mush-zone이 발견되었다. 액상 paraffin의 초기과열은 실험 전반부의 응고질량과 응고두께를 감소시키는 경향을 보였으며, 초기액상과열도와 벽면 과냉도가 큰 경우에 크게 나타났다.

초기함수비, 비표면적, 풍건 및 동결.융해작용이 흙의 액성한계에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Initial Water Content, Specific Surface, Air Drying and Freezing-thawing Action on the Liquid Limit of Soils)

  • The purpose of The work described in this paper is to clear up the initial moisture content, specific surface, air drying and freezing-thawing process on liquid limit of clayey soils distributed widely at estuary of three main rivers in the west coast. To this end, a series of tests were conducted on clayey soils samples with natural state and treated state. From the test results, the liquid limit was decreased with decrement of initial moisture content, air drying process, and freezing-thawing cycles and increased with increment of specific surface. The specific surface which influenced on the liquid limit is over $25 m^2$m$^2$/g, and their relationships are well formulated. Air drying process is expected to improve the engineering properties of the soils such the pro-water properties were changed to anti-water proper-ties through lowering of water holding as resulted to incline from A-7-5 to A-5 on the soil classificaction plastic chart. The freezing-thawing process decreased 20% of liquid limit, especially under the first cycle of the behavious, as a result of above mentioned reasons, phase change of soil-water system brought the decrement of specific surface and affected to the liquid limit.

  • Exposed to various environments, concrete confronts degradation by a lot of physical and chemical reaction. Though so many experiments and theorizations on the single condition of concrete degradation have been carried out by constant studies, the truth for now is that there are few studies on the compound phenomenon of degradation related with marine environments. Accordingly, this study measured the degree of degradation in the change of external shape, the change of unit weight and compressive strength, ultrasonic velocity test, and the change of length, etc. after exposing the specimen of cement mortar to the environment between 0 cycle and the maximum of 300 cycles under the condition of aquatic curing, freezing and thawing, and compound degradation, using mineral admixture effective for concrete degradation as a binder. The result indicated that the case of adding mineral admixture showed greater resistance than that of using OPC only, and specifically, the specimen with the additive of slag powder and three component system showed very excellent resistance to freezing and thawing, and compound degradation.

Overwintering Capacity Affected by Seeding Time and Method of Chinese Milk Vetch, Astragalus sinicus L., in Upland Field

  • Overwintering capacity, closely related to winter hardiness, of Chinese milk vetch planted with different sowing times and sowing practices was investigated to improve the incorporation into cropping system in Korea. The tolerance to low temperature was evaluated with $LT_50$ using leaf disc leaching method. Dry weight of CMV was reduced remarkably with delayed planting from Sep. 5 to Oct. 20. The differences in tolerance to freezing temperature were not conspicuous among CMV genotypes, however, the differences between genotype (collections at different regions) were due to the plant architecture, mainly to the leaf angle. The crouching genotype collected at central region of Korean peninsula, which showed excellent freezing tolerant, has planophile leaves. The feature of internal constituents of CMV genotypes did not show any noticeable differences with respect to the freezing tolerance which evaluated by leaf disc leaching experiment. To overcome the poor overwintering capacity, tolerant genotype should be developed by selection with considering the plant architecture. The reduction of CMV growth during overwintering period was ameliorated with furrow-sowing under late-sown condition, therefore, when the CMV is inevitably sown late after recommended time, the seeds should be sown on furrow to overcome the cold stress.

So followings are recommended: 1) The import restriction policy should be continued to expand the demand for the 10callT manufactured facilities, 2) Training of local people and import of advanced technologies should be encouraged 3) The capacities of the local manufacturing industry should be expanded to meet the: increasing demand for the facilities, 4) Further incentives should be affered to the freezing & cold storage sector for the repla¬cement of the worm-out facilities 5) The marketing channel of marine products should be reorganized into ""cold-chain system"" by providing a legislative supports."

  • Overhead contact systems (OCS) consist of contact and messenger wires, in which the contact wire supplies electric energy to the railway vehicle by contacting a pantograph. However, this mechanical contact is interrupted during frosts or temperatures below $0^{\circ}C$ in the winter. In these conditions, railway vehicle accidents can occur during operation because of the low energy efficiency that results from the increase in the arcing between the contact wire and pantograph. Therefore, the detection of frost or freezing temperatures is necessary to maintain the stable operation of these trains. In this study, we proposed the development of a frost or freezing condition monitoring system on the OCSs that utilizes wireless communication.

  • In a heat only boiler system of a steam power plant, outdoor air required for combustion is made to pass through indoor space for increasing the boiler efficiency. Due to heat generated by various equipments, temperature of the air that enters the boiler will increase resulting in combustion efficiency. If the outdoor air temperature is low, however, this will cause freezing and bursting of pipes which are filled with water. It is especially fatal to small diameter pipes and pipes connected to measuring instruments. The purpose of this study is find operation and outdoor conditions where this phenomena can happen and also establish preventive measures to avoid this problem.
