  • This study proposes a method to reduce error scanning data of laser scanner. The method co of 3 stages. First, there is an error indu difference of the distance between the prob the object.   • In this paper, masonry infilled reinforced concrete (RC) frames are analyzed through a probabilistic approach. A macro-modeling technique, based on an equivalent diagonal pin-jointed strut, has been resorted to for modelling the stiffening contribution of the masonry panels. Since it is quite difficult to decide which mechanical characteristics to assume for the diagonal struts in such simplified model, the strut width is here considered as a random variable, whose stochastic characterization stems from a wide set of empirical expressions proposed in the literature. The stochastic analysis of the masonry infilled RC frame is conducted via the Probabilistic Transformation Method by employing a set of space transformation laws of random vectors to determine the probability density function (PDF) of the system response in a direct manner. The knowledge of the PDF of a set of response indicators, including displacements, bending moments, shear forces, interstory drifts, opens an interesting discussion about the influence of the uncertainty of the masonry infills and the resulting implications in a design process.

  • A novel 3D tube scanning technique is proposed. The proposed tube scanning technique is developed for a special tube inspection module which consists of four line-lasers and one camera. Using the scanning module, we can reconstruct the 360 degree shapes of the inner surfaces of a cylindrical tube. From an image frame captured by the camera, we reconstruct a partial tube model based on four laser triangulations. Then by aligning such partial models with respect to a reference tube axis, a complete 3D shape of the tube is reconstructed. The tube axis in each reconstructed frame is aligned with a 3D Euclidean transformation to the reference axis. Several experiments show that the proposed method can align multiple tube axes very accurately and reconstruct 3D shapes of a tube with very low shape distortion.

  • A stochastic Hamilton variational principle(SHVP) is formulated for dynamic problems of linear continuum. The SHVP allows incorporation of probabilistic distributions into the finite element analysis. The formulation is simplified by transformation of correlated random variables to a set of uncorrelated random variables through a standard eigenproblem. A procedure based on the Fourier analysis and synthesis is presented for eliminating secularities from the perturbation approach. In addition to, a method to analyse stochastic design sensitivity for structural dynamics is present. A combination of the adjoint variable approach and the second order perturbation method is used in the finite element codes. An alternative form of the constraint functional that holds for all times is introduced to consider the time response of dynamic sensitivity. The algorithms developed can readily be adapted to existing deterministic finite element codes. The numerical results for stochastic analysis by proceeding approach of cantilever, 2D-frame and 3D-frame illustrates in this paper.

  • In this paper, we attempt to control induction motors with high power efficiency as well as high dynamic performance by utilizing the recently developed theories: singular perturbation technique and noninteracting feedback control. Our controller does not need the transformation between a d-q synchronously rotating frame and a x-y stator-fixed frame. It is computationally quite simple. Furthermore, it does not depend on the rotor resistance. To illuminate the practical significance of our results, we present simulation and experimental results as well as mathematical performance analysis.

  • 본 시스템은 어항 속의 물고기 움직임을 추적하기 위해 직교식 스테레오 비젼 시스템(Othogonal Stereo Vision System)으로부터 동시에 독립된 영상을 획득하고 획득된 영상을 처리하여 좌표를 얻어내고 3차원 좌표로 생성해내는 시스템이다. 제안하는 방법은 크게 두 대의 카메라로부터 동시에 영상을 획득하는 방법과 획득된 영상에 대한 처리 및 물체 위치 검출, 그리고 3차원 좌표 생성으로 구성된다. Frame Grabber를 사용하여 초당 8-Frame의 두 개의 영상(정면영상, 상면영상)을 획득하며, 실시간으로 갱신하는 배경영상과의 차영상을 통하여 이동객체를 추출하고, Labeling을 이용하여 Clustering한 후, Cluster의 중심좌표를 검출한다. 검출된 각각의 좌표를 직선방정식을 이용하여 3차원 좌표보정을 수행하여 이동객체의 좌표를 생성한다.

  • In this paper, a modeling method for the vibration analysis of rotating structures employing multi-reference frames is presented. The geometric stiffening effect that results from centrifugal inertia force is considered. In most previous studies single reference frame has been employed for the analysis. In the present study, a modeling method employing multi-reference frames is presented, and the effects of employing multi-reference frames on the analysis accuracy are investigated through solving numerical examples.

  • Streamlines around a ship's hull can be calculated by using streamline tracing method replacing the ship section with distribution of singularity. The influence of frame lines on the stream surrounding a hull surface, however, can not be found. Jinnaka studied on streamlines for Lewis form by applying the slender body theory. The influence of frame lines on stream surrounding a hull surface is well found in Jinnaka's method. In this paper streamline calculation method for chine type has been developed by using conformal transformation and applying slender body theory as Jinnaka did. Three kinds of model-one of series 62 for chine type, V.L.C.C. and high speed craft built in Korea for Lewis form-were used for streamline calculation;

  • The local motion at the top of an A-frame fixed on a research vessel for deep sea ROV floating in irregular waves is studied in the time-domain. The motion is analyzed in the time-domain using the convolution integral of the radiation forces. The memory effect functions and infinite frequency added masses are obtained from the solution of the three dimensional improved Green integral equation in the frequency domain by making use of the Fourier transformation.

  • This paper proposed a new control method for single-phase hybrid active power filter. The proposed algorithm can change single phase system into the orthogonal system which has two phases giving time-delay in regular single phas and making the imaginary second phase. It can make orthogonal system like as being used in $3{\phi}/2{\phi}$ transformation with two phases. It can do complex calculation which calculates intantaneous reactive power. Istead of existing method applying to intantaneous reactive power theory in fixed reference frame, this paper proposed the algorithm which has advantage over reducing harmonics using rotating reference frame. It verified the effectiveness the proposed method through simulation and experiment.
