This paper provides a brief overview of bibliographic relationships, a analysis of bibliographic relationships' characteristics of 2,940 bibliographic records on the Five Classics and Four Books taken from Korean National Bibliography, and a methodology for applying the FRBR model based on analysis of the samples. As results of analysis, the work type ranked high particularly in the commentary, translation with notes, and translation on the original works etc. I suggested adopting conception of supper works, that is, family of works and using uniform title as a connective device between the works, that is, an authorized access point of RDA to apply FRBR model of the Five Classics and Four Books. Also I exemplified the description of uniform title in 630 field as subject added entry.

This paper is a morphologic-bibliographic analysis on every printed books of Hanmunbon Great Learn(大學), one of $\lceil$FourBooks(四書)$\rfloor$, in Chosun Dynasty. Through examination of the physical characteristics of oks in many institutes and private collections, $\lceil$Daehakjanggudaejun(大學章句大全)$\rfloor$, was systematically explored, which was the most frequently Published Great Learn (大學) in Chosun Dynasty. The Hanmunbon Great Learn (大學) was published mainly in Central Publishing Office in Hansung Area and Kyungsang provinces, and in the period of 17C to 19C. There are two streams of $\lceil$Daehakjanggudaejun$\rfloor$. One is the reprinted edition of Myungbon(明本覆刻), originated from $\lceil$Saseookyungdaejun(四書五經大全)$\rfloor$, compiled by Hokwang(胡廣) and colleagues in Myung(明). The second is movable type books of Chosun(朝鮮活字本), the contents of which being the same as the other stream.

The purpose of this study is to propose criteria for selecting picture books as various reading education materials for middle school students and to check whether it can be applied to book selection. First, identified the educational value of picture books as reading materials and the criteria for selecting picture books by academic field through previous studies. After integrating the commonalities of various picture book selection criteria presented in previous studies by categorizing them into illustrations, text, and other categories. And it devised selection criteria that can be applied after selecting middle school students as readers. Based on the unified picture book selection criteria, a survey was conducted to ask in-service librarians about the main criteria to consider when selecting picture books for middle school students, and intensive interviews were conducted with experts who have experience in picture book education. As a result, the picture book selection criteria from previous studies were revised and supplemented with two criteria related to text, four criteria related to pictures, and five other criteria, and presented as picture book selection criteria for middle school students. To verify the practicality of the picture book selection criteria, it checked the applicability of each category of criteria to picture books recommended by the Children's Book Research Society (ages 13 and older). Out of 22 picture books for middle school students, 15 books could be applied to all categories of the selection criteria, showing significant practicality.

We present a more complete and accurate catalogue of astronomical records far meteor showers and meteor storms appeared in primary official Korean history books, such as Samguk-sagi, Koryo-sa, Seungjeongwon-ilgi, and Chosen-Wangjo-Sillok. So far the catalogue made by Imoto and Hasegawa in 1958 has been widely used in the international astryonomical society. The catalogue is based on a report by Sekiguchi in 1917 that is mainly based on secondary history books. We observed that the catalogue has a number of errors in either dates or sources of the records. We have thoroughly checked the primary official history books, instead of the secondary ones, in order to make a corrected and extended catalogue. The catalogue contains 25 records of meteor storms, four records of intense meteor-showers, and five records of usual showers in Korean history. We also find that some of those records seem to correspond to some presently active meteor showers such as the Leonids, the Perseids, and the n -Aquarids-Orionids pair. However, a large number of those records do not correspond to suck present showers. This catalogue we obtained can be useful for various astrophysical studies in the future.

This study identified the current status and degree of awareness of specialized libraries through a survey of public library employees in relation to specialized library projects supported and promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and local governments and sought policy directions to revitalize specialized libraries in the future. As a result of the analysis, local (region) was the most common specialized topic, but there were many places that selected topics according to the interest of policymakers. In the case of the data, less than 5% of the total books are specialized, and specialized subject-related programs account for more than 20% of the total library programs, providing an average of three to four programs, and operating personnel generally do not deploy dedicated librarians. When specialized topics meet regional characteristics, when there are separate buildings or specialized rooms, there are two to three dedicated librarians, at least 15% of specialized books, and more than five to six programs, the user's awareness and satisfaction were higher. In order to revitalize specialized libraries, it is necessary to secure additional books, organize differentiated programs, arrange exclusive librarians, provide subject-specialized education through the Korea Library Association and regional representative libraries, develop and distribute specialized and target service manuals, and secure a sufficient budget.

As the number of smart libraries is continuously increasing, activation measures are necessary to expand user engagement and enhance service quality. This study analyzed the usage patterns of four smart libraries in A Library in Incheon, from June 2020 to December 2023. It also conducted user satisfaction surveys and question-and-answer sessions with a librarian. The number of books and loans increased, and two smart libraries in areas without public libraries showed high usage rates. Although users were satisfied with the smart libraries, they pointed out inconveniences such as the limited number of loan books and insufficient books. Consequently, it is suggested to improve user-centered service quality, continuous monitoring and evaluation, as well as active promotion.

This study was conducted to find a task to adjust the conflict situation by categorizing and analyzing the recent cases of library book censorship and analyzing the field perception on the subject of library book censorship. Therefore, recent cases of book censorship were categorized into four categories: political, legal, sexuality, and sex crime. As a result of the study, 44.5% of the respondents who answered that the restriction on access to books related to sex crimes was not a library censorship or that it was difficult to judge. It showed the perception that this issue is not an issue that can be easily decided by book censorship. Meanwhile, as a result of a survey of librarians, there was an opinion that there was a need for restrictions on collecting or reading at the library site for various reasons, and eventually showed a gap from the code of ethics for librarians against all censorship, showing the need to make efforts to reconcile such conflicts in the future.

In this paper, through the mutual interpretation and verification of the ancient Korean history books with different origin that have been suspected as false documents, it proves that they could be logically real records and reveal that the substance of the legendary 'medicine for anti-aging and longevity', which also had been mentioned in Chinese old books, is Korean ginseng. Furthermore, with reference to the modern Y chromosomal map of the migratory routes of mankind corresponding to these routes recorded in 「Budoji」, the core history book, the formation of the four ethnic constitution groups (Sasang Constitution) based on the life style of each human group has been estimated. And the cause of Korean ginseng with fever problem for Southeast Asians is their pharmacogenomic constitution problem by protopanaxatriol (PPT) type ginsenosides in ginseng. It was resolved with over production of protopanaxdiol (PPD) type ginsenosides against PPT type in Korean red ginseng as historical or scientific point of view. In addition, by explaining that the processing method to Korean red ginseng could increase red ginseng acidic polysaccharides (RGAP), the RGAP, PPD type ginsenosides, and arginine which is originally abundant in Korean ginseng could increase the expression of the 'heat shock proteins' as a kind of chaperone in the body, this paper presents the theory allowing the scientific interpretation of the efficacy of Korean red ginseng as an 'adaptogen' or 'medicine for anti-aging and longevity'. Lastly, through the consideration of the growing environment of American ginseng and Korean ginseng, the differences are presented.

As public interests and demands on the library space and library goods increase, the role of librarians dealing with this issue has become more important. This research develops lists of core and non-core goods in space managements of public libraries, children's libraries, and school libraries. The lists will make the librarian's tasks effective and maximize user satisfaction. For public libraries, the space is divided into nine main areas, and a total of 80-90 goods(50-60 core and 20-30 non-core goods) are identified. The space of children's libraries is divided into four main areas(space for reading, books, entry, and special activities) with a list of 60-70 library goods(30 core and 30-40 non-core goods). School libraries consist of seven distinctive spaces, including spaces for books, multi-media, reading, and teaching, and it requires 90 goods in total(30-40 core and 50-60 non-core goods). The findings of this study can be utilized in listing up library goods. Further research should be conducted to develop such tools as guidelines, standards and manuals for space management.

In this article, I researched Nam Dae-nyeon's(1887~1958) thought of Neo-confucian theories, interpretation of confucian canons, and evaluation of historical figures. First, from the side of Neo-confucian theories, he asserted that Qi(氣) had behaviors and Li(理) had not. About his teacher Jeon Wu's(田愚) theories, he thought that those were in tradition of Confucius(孔子) and Mencius(孟子), but not emphasized presidence of mind. And he criticized the theory of mind was Li(理). Second, from the side of interpretation of Confucian canons, Nam Dae-nyeon's study centered on Four Books(四書). This showed he was in tradition of Neo-confucianism. Through this studies he emphasized the importance of Confucian Ren(仁) and Filial piety(孝), self-consciousness as gentry(士). Third, from the side of evaluation of historical figures, Nam Dae-nyeon evaluated many Chinese and Korean scholars, for example, Qu Yuan(屈原), Lu Zhong-lian(魯仲連), Zhen De-xiu(眞德秀), Lu Long-qi((陸?其), Zhang Lu-xiang (張履祥) of China, and Jeong Mong-ju(鄭夢周), Zho Kwang-jo(趙光祖), Yi Hwang(李滉), Yi Yi(李珥), Jeon Wu(田愚) of Korea. And his criteria for evaluation of historical figures was fidelity and insight.
