The purpose of this study is to set a characteristic design by analyzing formative properties for the hat and fashion image shown in fashion collections from the S/S season of 1998 to the F/W season of 2004 in recent seven years. For the study, the 96 stimuli which found frequently in fashion collection were selected. The examines for the image evaluation were women college students majoring fashion design related fields and living in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Gyeongsangnam-do. Data collection was performed in August 2004. As statistical methods for data analysis, internal consistency method, Factor Analysis, MANOVA were used. Based on the analysis of 31 pairs of adjectives for elucidating the total 96 stimuli which were devised by altering the types of garment, the relation between a garment and a color of hat, the types of hat, the length of hair, and the material and design of garment, five factors or attractiveness, gracefulness, concentration, cuteness, and hardness and softness were deduced. And it showed much difference in the types of garment, the relations between a garment and a color of hat, the types of hat, the length of hair, and the material and design of a garment.

Korean Costume has long history and functional aesthetic value compared with the traditional costume of other contries. But nowadays korean Costume is becoming more and more distant from the people in the world wide current. To domiciliate and spread out the Practical Korean Costume which the goverment selected as CI symbol representing Korean culture in the trend of times. We investigated and analysed systemically the consciousness of customers and the details of design. This study consist of theoritical study and positive study. Theoritical study has the esthetic characteristic(structure characteristics formative characteristic and the characteristic of color) As the conciousness of people change in modern life which everything change in high speed the esthetic characteristics of Korean Costume have changed in structure.

On the turning paradigm in the early part of the 20th century, the change of behavior patterns naturally had influence on arts based it. Also the furniture designs was formed new style by interaction between paintings and sculptures and architectures. In this study, it was focused on Art-Deco movement that was started in 1920's France and was widely developed. Besides it was found out principles and characters of this style, and was made analysis and sense of the characteristic about formative language of Art-Deco on the relation with contemporary fine art and architecture. As the result, the origin of Art-Deco is characterized by three categories : abstraction, mystery and symbolism. The Art-Deco furniture design symbolized by the desire to pursue both splendor and elegance is French style pragmatism in progress toward Modern design.

Space given at home, furniture is an important condition to determine its size. As a method for satisfying outer and functional human needs, ever changing, shaped form has also been developed. Modern people tend to decorate the beautiful living space to the needs of the beauty and space of living. In order to satisfy these requirements, the development of furniture to suit the taste of modern people is required. In this study, we add together the design and contemporary design of traditional Korean and use of raw wood can feel the natural and applied to furniture retro design. It is possible to have a motif characteristic of Hanok traditional to suggest a design where you can feel the sensitivity with retro in the direction of the current design change is large and diverse, and in harmony with the living space of modern it is an object that you study the production lighting and storage furniture with the complexity of the traditional and modern.

Formative and structural characteristics of stone pagoda in Jeonnam area are known in largely two flows. One is that characteristic of stone pagoda in Jeonnam area of the Unified Silla is shown in eastern Jeonnam and some southern Jeonnam. But it is not shown in surroundings of Yeongsan river. Another is that besides stone pagoda in Silla style where social aspects of Goryeo are reflected, stone pagoda in Baekje style appeared. On the other hand, stone brick pagoda and non-typical stone pagoda appeared. These stone pagodas were developed mainly in north and west of Jeonnam, and could be classified in pure Baekje style and a cross style according to formative and structural characteristics. Stone brick pagoda is extant in Wolnamsa site and Woonjusa in Chungcheong and Jella areas which are old places of Baekje.

In this paper, We examine that characteristics of formative electret with polymer film and electric charge storage using grid corona discharge. compound polymer of fluorine resin used for material in electret because of high electric charge accumulation, excellent electrical and physical characteristic. All experiments were carried out with circular samples of $Teflon^(R)FEP$ film, 12.5[${\mu}m$] thick. As experiment variables, we used voltage, electrode thickness, discharge electrode gap, and discharge time. According to this variables, we studied on characteristics of formative electret and electric charge storage. Additionally we make a comparative study of the result between the grid corona discharge and needle electrode discharge.

The purposes of this study are to look into the formative characteristics of the miniskirt and to evaluate the visual effects and images according to changes in the silhouette and length of the miniskirt from analyzing the mini skirt style shown in 2007 S/S domestic fashion. The miniskirt style shown in 2007 S/S domestic fashion was analyzed with pictures from a fashion website "Interfashion Planning" from Feb. to May of 2007. As a result, the basic lines of the miniskirt are classified into two types according to the side line. The lengths of miniskirts are classified into five steps of 25 cm, 27.5 cm, 30 cm, 32.5 cm, and 35 cm from the natural waistline. The stimuli were produced with imaginative sewing system 3D CAD of i-design series. For the visual evaluation according to changes in the silhouettes and length of the miniskirt, we used 13 pairs of items to find the visual effects, and 23 pairs of adjectives to measure the visual images. The stimuli and adjectives were randomly given to the evaluators and were evaluated by the 7-point likert type scale. Data we got from this experiment was analyzed statistically by using the SPSS 12.0 and practiced the Factor Analysis and Correlation Analysis. Formative characteristics of miniskirts can be found in the lines, colors, and materials that are the elements of fashion designs, colors and materials are the characteristics of the cloth that is the medium of the expression of designs. The result of factor analysis of visual effects and visual images according to changes in the silhouettes and lengths of miniskirts, the visual effect was composed of the three factors of the length of the lower body, the thickness of the lower body, and the shape abdomen and it was showed that these three factors occupied 63.6% of the total variance. The visual image was composed of four factors of elegance, personality, attraction, maturity and these four factors got 67.6% of the total variance.

The purpose of this study was to provide a formative charateristics by analyzing aesthetic charateristics of Egypt costume expressed in contemporary fashion. The result of this study obtained through this process were as follows. Aesthetic characteristics were expressed as a primative-retro characteristics, and a erotic-retro characteristics and a decorative-retro characteristics. Based on these trends, this study analyzed formative charateristics in an aspect of form, color, material, and decoration. In the modern fashion, unlike the H-line silhouette given by a natural fit in the primitive retro, the erotic retro was characterized in the shape by a tight H-line silhouette. For the color, peach, yellow green, gold, light blue, red, and black were used as the main color. For the material, see-through, gauze, mesh, organdy, and tight vinyl were utilized to emphasize an erotic image and expose a body secretly. For the decoration, the characteristic of erotic retro using the simple or same colors frequently was the use of similar accessories colors matched with material colors. The decorative retro was characterized in the shape by a H-line silhouette connected as a part of clothing which applied passium and a greatly modified silhouette from an Egyptian simple style which was well-matched with splendid accessories. For the color, the broadest range of color changes was found from light pastel such as white, yellow, light pink, burnt orange, blue, purple, silver, gold, and red to strong vivid tones. For the material, modern materials such as organdy, tulle, leather, and furs were often used. For the decoration, passium, an eagle pattern, scarab earrings, a crown, a sneak-shaped coronet, and pictograph printed on the fabric were frequently used.

현대의 도자 조형은 순수 조형사고에 의해 보다 신선하고 개성적인 조형물의 개념으로 넓게 확장되어가고 있으며 다양한 요구에 의해 개성과 취향을 만족시킬 수 있는 디자인 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 우리의 생활전반에 정서적인 기여를 할 수 있는 조형물을 제시하고자 입체주의의 표현양상을 도입하는 과정에서 주어진 대상을 복수시점으로 감지하고도 2차원적인 평면에 표현한 입체주의 시대 회화의 한계를 넘어 입체감과 공간감의 표현을 위해 조형적 측면에서 접근하여 제작하였다. 따라서 연구자는 작품을 제작하기에 앞서 20C 미술계의 커다란 전환점이었던 입체주의의 표현 양상과 현대 도예의 영역확장에 대한 선이해가 중요하다고 판단되어 이에 대한 접근을 시도하였다. 위의 연구를 통하여 기존개념에서 탈피해 새로운 관점에서 접근해보니 창의적이며 실용성을 겸비한 개성적인 조형물로서 새로운 가능성이 엿보였다. 이는 생활 속의 예술로 도자 조형의 영역을 확대시켜 연구대상으로서 현대도예의 한 분야가 될 수 있으리라 생각된다.

건축물의 파사드는 상업공간인 경우, 매장의 일부이며 가로공간을 구성하고 있는 중요한 요소로서의 역할을 하고 있다. 따라서 그 기능적인 문제와 표현상의 문제를 다루는데 있어서 매장과 가로공간의 양측면을 고려하지 않으면 안된다. 본 연구는 도시의 가로 공간의 구성요소인 파사드와 색채의 상호연관성의 고찰을 통하여 사인물을 비롯한 매장의 디자인 나아가 건축디자인의 색채계획에 있어 형태적 특성에 따른 접근 방법과 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. 이에 개별 건축물의 특성보다는 2차원적인 건축물의 입면이 연속적으로 구성되어 있는 명동을 조사대상지역으로 선정하고 입면 유형에 따른 종횡방향의 연속성과 입면 구성요소의 색채분석을 실시하여 상호 관련성을 규명하였다. 앞으로 도시환경의 색채계획은 결론에서 제시하고 있는 개개의 강조보다는 건축물의 형태적 특성에서 비롯되는 관련성을 고려한 전체 틀 속에서 검토되어야하며, 이는 곧 쾌적한 도시환경을 창조하는 실마리가 될 수 있는 것이다.
