There were 12 categories including the state of doctors' linkage in postpartum care centers, treatment form of oriental medical doctors, utilization of herbal medicine and so on. The data collected was analyzed using Excel 2007 FOR WINDOWS. Results: 1. Of those postpartum centers, 66% had both pediatrician and oriental medical doctor which were the vast majority. 2. Out of 70 postpartum centers providing herbal medicine, 9 of them were supplied of herbal medicine by herb sellers(not doctor). Where as, at 63 oriental medical doctors-affiliated centers, 85.7% of them had oriental medical doctors' examinations. 3. Out of 70 postpartum centers providing herbal medicine, personalized prescription amounted to 35(50.0%), same prescriptions amounted to 34(48.6%), and 1(1.4%) refused to answer. 4. Out of all the patients that received explanation about the effects of herbal medicine, 62.9% had them explained by oriental medical doctors. Conclusions: These findings suggests that oriental medical doctors are actively involved with postpartum care centers but problems surfaced regarding individualized prescription insufficiency and the lack of administration. In the near future, if the expertise expand in the areas of pediatrics as well as obstetrics and gynecology, oriental medicine will have a more solid role in postpartum care part.

  • With recent development in information technology, IT convergence has been achieved ubiquitously in all areas of industry. In particular, there have been a lot of changes in medical IT conversion sector in terms of user service. In this regard, this paper attempts to propose an environment in which the existing paper prescription can be transferred in the form of QR codes using mobile handsets as one of practices from the perspective of user service. QR codes can minimize the burden resulting from the process of the output, delivery and storage of paper prescriptions. In addition, they can utilize the representation of the information in a wide variety of ways, and they are considered to be media that can minimize the risk of personal information exposure and falsification due to the restoration and encryption of the information. Accordingly, the application of QR codes to the medical field is expected to improve confidentiality ad storage capability of the information, along with users' convenience.

They reported the ordinary sleep pattern of Soeumin and Soyangin, too. 5. In the experimental study, they reported several herbs, herbal prescription on the expression of melatonin receptors, and Punsimgeimgamibang on insomnia, anxiety, emotionality in rats. 6. There were 2 clinical trials, one for Hwabyung-patient with insomnia by acupuncture treatment and another for insomnia in the elderly by ETF-I program. 7. There were 2 case of other sleep disorder (enuresis, sleepwalking) and 2 literature study of dream. Conclusions : In JON regarding sleep disorder, the majority was due to insomnia. Therefore, we also have to expand our sight into other sleep diseases. We need more clinical trials and experimental researches for the construction of EBM Sleep Disorder in Oriental Neuropsychiatry.

  • The purpose of this study was to analysis the effect of form of outsole - complex function double rocker sole(CDR) vs. negative-heel rocker sole (NR) - on energy consumption and heart rate intensity during gait. 11 women, who had no medical history on musculoskeletal disease and surgery within 3 years prior to study, were participated. The walking energy cost per time (WECt) during 35minutes, heart rate intensity, and total calorie consumption were compared by using pair t-test. The WECt and total calorie consumption were found to be significantly higher(p<.05) in CDR than NR. However, there was no difference in HRi. Based on the present study, CDR shoe may have significant implications in shoe prescription for people who want to increase energy consumption.

  • The quality of medical care can be defined as four types such as effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, and scientific-technical quality. For the management of scientific-technical aspects, medical institutions annually disseminate the latest knowledge in the form of conservative education. However, there is an obvious limit to the fact that the latest knowledge is distributed quickly enough to the clinical site with only one-time conservative education. If intelligent information processing technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence are applied to the medical field, they can overcome the limitations of having to conduct research with only a small amount of information. In this paper, we construct databases on which the existing medicine prescription adaptations can be extended. To do this, we collect, store, manage, and analyze information related to oriental medicine at domestic and abroad Journals. We design a processing and analysis technique for oriental medicine evidence research data for the construction of a database of oriental medicine prescription extended adaption. Results can be used as a basic content of evidence-based medicine prescription information in the oriental medicine-related decision support services.

  • To prevent toxicity from both robax platinum (methocarbamol, ibuprofen) and robaxacet (methocarbomol, acetaminophen), separately, we used stretches and naproxen as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) to compare each effectiveness. This study used the United States Forces Korea Prescription form (Annex A-Over-The-Counter Prescription) and Alice Rich's Pain scale with robax platinum, robaxacet including narproxen. The IBM SPSS statics version 24 was used to calculate the data. The combined methocarbamol 500 mg, acetaminophen 325 mg tablet, and ibuprofen 200 mg (or naproxen) tablet can work as well as the combined methocarbamol 500 mg tablet with acetaminophen 325 mg tablet with stretches. Both methods were successful in managing pain. The drug combination of methocarbamol 500 mg, acetaminophen 325 mg and ibuprofen 200 mg tablets yielded similar benefits as the methocarbamol 500 mg and acetaminophen 325 mg tablets paired with physical stretching exercises regarding managing overall pain.
